Wow, Natasha, you sure have opened up some doors for me. I've not thought of most of those things you've made. Just beautiful. I love following you with your inexhaustive, wonderful imagination. My favorite, though I love all of them, has got to be the writing Board. So very clever to insert in a journal. I know I've been frustrated many times by obstructions of any kind in my notebooks and journals. Another well said, clear, and beautiful project package from Natasha. Thank you soooo much. XOXOJANE
Omg I have a ton of napkins beautiful ones so I’ll be making those, I’m so exited that I found your lovely tutorials ! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Using an older large page dictionary in a wedding themed journal, I used the first page of the alphabet corresponding with the bride's and groom's first initial. The dictionary page was beautiful, showing the letter in different languages on the upper halves of each page. A work of art. I used the facing pages and decoupaged a napkin in the bride's colors on both pages but didn't cover all of the print leaving the upper halves without napkin or glue. It seemed to fade away one into the other. I was very pleased with how it turned out, especially since this was my very first journal. 30:04
I don't think it was a fail either because it can be used elsewhere after fussy cutting. I would try putting a piece of parchment paper inside the bag before decoupaging. I think that might help eliminate those wrinkles. I'm going to try that and see.
I've used Napkins to make Beautiful Cards cards before but I've never decoupage them onto anything. And wouldn't have thought to use them in Journals. Thank you so much❣❣❣❣
Thank you so much I have collected napkins for a while but have never had the courage to begin, I am now going to have a go thank you , you have inspired me x
Hi Natasa, you must be psychic - I was wondering what else I could with my napkins that I keep buying!! Thank you for sharing your ideas! 😊🙏💐💕 I am old to crafting but new to playing with napkins! 😁 My idea - journal cover - I made a double layer (glued) of card with cereal box cardboard. Added more strips of card for detail. Decoupaged it with pieces of brown Kraft napkin. Painted it. Aged it with more paint. Varnished it. Added tea-dyed braid made from household string. Gold highlights with gilding paste. Now it looks like an old leather book, with the ‘wrinkled napkin effect’! 😃
I recently made my mother a desk organiser by gluing 3 small cardboard boxes together, covered that with torn book page scraps of different hues and fonts and covered the whole thing with a decoupaged napkin, it came out really well. Having the different book pages underneath added some character to it. It’s amazing the things that you can decoupage with napkins. I really love the idea of the writing boards.💚 Thanks for sharing this video and all your great ideas 💚 Oh and the brown paper lunch bags work well for decoupaging, they’re little bit thicker and just as easy to decorate. 💚
Just when I begin to think I know it all (from years of journaling), you come along with something I've never thought of. Your ideas are not the run-of-the-mill variations that everyone is doing. Thank you so much for bringing the innovation back to junk journaling.
These ideas are so fun! I have been binge watching your channel this weekend and just love all your ideas. You have a beautiful way of bringing creative ideas to us and sharing so many at a time. It really inspires me to create and look further at ideas. Thank you so much
Thanks for the tip on how to decoupage on dark surfaces. I love including black tags in my journals so that I can write on them with my metallic gel pens. Usually, I just collage the front, but now I'm going to try the gesso and napkin technique on some of them.
I love your creative ideas! I live in South East Texas and it is very humid! I have found using watered down glue and even ModPoge will leave the surface sticky on humid days .. it will dry totally but still have a sticky feel. I found a product called Collage Podge .. it will dry with no sticky feel even on humid days! Thank you for sharing all the wonderful ideas!
Wow Natasha! I love all your ideas. Thank you for your time. I have to say I think you explain things very well for those in the back row. Some people pick up on things quicker then others, Awesome anyway. I enjoy every seeing notification from Treasure Books!!!
Oh my god, look what you have done Natasha! I just went to my attic and dusted off a 40yo sewing machine because all of these were just too adorable! Time to learn sewing, hehe!
I do like the way you explain everything you do,and some great ideas you have for with the napkins ,i do love. You are a great instructor for people who are new to this craft. Thank you pamela hall
I am so happy to have found your channel. You are just wonderful to get inspiration from and I love listening to your accent. Thank you for teaching us and sharing all the wonderful ideas you have.
These look beautiful. Love idea of white gesso underneath. Good idea. You always give us great tips. Like cut napkin before you remove backing. Love the book covers. They look great. And I love writing board. And glue stick 1st is good idea. Going to do that. You've taught me to save my cereal boxes. I think I overdid that cuz my coat closet is FULL of cereal boxes. Haha!! I like sewing edges. Looks great. Thx for video. Austin,TX USA
Love this! I am new to this hobby and this video is very helpful. I love how the words from the page show through the napkin designs, this gives a great look ❤
Great and gorgeous as always, thank you so, so much! ☺ The leftovers of the napkins can be stamped and then decoupaged too. There are soo many possibilities...
Your work is amazing. You have inspired me so much! I absolutely love paper art. Current project: making junk journals as Christmas gifts! I don't know how I ended up on ur page, but I am so grateful to have found you!
I love the flower napkin on the black book! White would make it pop, but the subtleness is gorgeous. I have decoupaged napkins a lot, but never thought of doing it on a repurposed book. Duh! Thanks so much Natasa!
Your videos are so inspirational. I know I have said this before but I love your accent. I love how nice you are and heart warming. You are loved by many. I am on some junk journal groups on fb and your inspiration, projects and name are very popular!!
I watched your video then went to my stash and got a decorative napkin with a horizontal pattern, used a glue stick to get the center of the napkin centered onto the fold of a manilla file folder, then used liquid glue to adhere the rest of the napkin to the file folder. It will make a perfect signature cover! Thanks for the idea!
These are just beautiful and was wondering how to incorporate Napkin Art to my journals! Thank you for sharing all the details that make this so much easier! You’re a gem, Natasha! ❤
I really like the images on the book pages. I'll have to give that a try. My favourite decoupage to do is on small envelopes then I back them with tea dyed paper so they are little open out envelopes/journalling spots. There are always a few of those in my journals :)
I did that, with my envelope too, to make those flip out envelopes that Natasha had in another tutorial. I didn't finish it because.....I was wondering what I could do with the background of the inside of the envelope! No I know!!!! Thank you, for your great idea!
As always I just love what you do. I've only been junk journaling for about a year and you were one of the first people that I started to follow and have influence me so much and what I do. I'm finally at a place where my journals are selling here and there just a few and it really is helpful for my very limited income. And that's why I watch you is because you use things that are available and are not spending a whole bunch of money on things. And yet you make the most beautiful things. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your talent and how you share it with all of us. I send blessings to you and your family and all those that you love. May you stay healthy and well in these trying times. And when I spend time with you I don't even think about the other things in the world that are not so good
I always love ur ideas 💡, u explain things to perfection, plus u give other ideas as well with the same craft items. Even a novice learner like me, is able to understand the technique ur teaching all of us. ❣️❣️❣️
Thanks for all you have taught me. You always give me good ideas. I was looking at that pouch you made, and I was thinking that that paper would’ve made a great journal cover also. I think that’s what I am going to do with it. Thanks again.

I am a huge fan and just love how you explain things and give so many ideas on alternative ways to use the napkins. You do such amazing work. I am just getting into junk journals and you have given me so many ideas -to many maybe, my head is spinning. 😊
Lovely ideas. I like decoupage with napkins, I've done some on both plastic and glass, both work fine using PVA glue. I decoupage the outside of the glass you get free with some mustard and chocolate spreads, they are just the right size for tea lights and with the light shining through look gorgeous. But remember, you can not submerse them in water once done, so wipe out the inside with a damp cloth if needed. Thankyou Natasa for more very useful, well explained ideas, you always come up trumps and I love listening to you. The envelopes have sent me off on more ideas to try 😀👏🏼👍😘👏🏼👍 luv n hugs from Victoria in England 🇬🇧
I loved all of them, even the wrinkled one, which maybe could be torn up and used on a master board. My favorite one is the black book cover with the flowers. I have been saving can labels, which I will decoupage onto large pieces of poster backing which I will line my pantry walls. I think it will brighten up my unlighted food storage area. You be safe and well. Hugs from Alice in SC USA.
