This is a very good year for Songvakeppnin!! Please don't let politics ruin your selection 😶
No it isnt. Sorry😊
Hmmm is Israel participating? Then this is already politized.
@juricool3000 it absolutely is not a good year. Let's look how Iceland is plummeting in the odds again.
@@iraa8043 yes....🥴😓
I really don’t like this National
My top 3:
1. Sigga
2. Hera
3. Anita
To my surprise this is a very good selection overall and Im going to say what Raph said "please don´t let politics ruin your selection"
I think væb is underrated tbh, brothers doing Icelandic party music with a little eurovision feeling in it.
Fun fact they had 4 hours to create the song
Crossing my fingers for Iceland at ESC because they finally have a good selection again!
Hera Bjork ftw
Just give Hera another great chance return to eurovision!
Honesty I don't want to see a small political conflict in eurovision between a Palestinian and 2 Jews (Tali, the Luxembourgish entrant, is Israeli descent)
P. S : Blankiflur's song is also cool as well.
I think Hera Björk is the best option if Iceland decides to go to Eurovision this year..
Well there's some good news for that!
My Top 3:
1. Hera Bjork
2. Vaeb
3. Sigga Ozk
I need Hera to return!

EG ELSKA ÍSLAND 🇮🇸🩵🇮🇸🩵🇮🇸🩵🇮🇸
Same winner yeeeees
SUNNY FTW WE NEED THAT DNB CHAOS
guys pick go tiffany😍 probably biomyd and stigmum af
RUV literally doesn't care about what the public wants, and they won't even make the decision to withdraw. Putting it on the artist shoulders is disgusting, of course they want to perform on stage but the pressure from the people is insane to put on them. The public wanted to give the money Grindavík, the cost of competing in Eurovision is ridiculously high and would be better spent for something that actually matters. I have always loved Eurovision but this is getting ridiculously political, Eurovision is basically gaslighting the public of it not being political. I will not whatch again. Was just curious what people thought of the national final. (I wont listen to any songs either my phone was on mute).
Important information
Mr Murad forgot to mention that he is an Israeli citizen with full rights as any other Israeli citizen. He has the right to vote, to be elected, to run for presidency , unemployment, and full public health insurance .
Mr Murad forgot to mention that because he is a member of the LGBTQ+ community, his life was in danger from his people, and he found protection in Israel, Tel Aviv. He forgot to mention he graduated with a full scholarship , music studies in RIMON , a very respected institute for the art in Tel Aviv.
What Mr Murad never forgot to mention is that Israel is an apartheid country. 🤔. Is it? Based on his life experience, really???
I'm an Israeli citizen and I wish I had gotten all Mr Murad got from this ' apartheid ' country.
THE TRUTH WILL WIN , EVEN IF YOU GUYS IN ICLAND CHOSE NOT TO SEE IT .
Thank you 🙏
Exactly!
Israel is running apartheid regardless of murad’s life experience. Nobody is saying palestinian people are the best, but israel has no right to ruin their existance.
it has nothing to do with Icelandic participation at the ESC though,@
Israel is committing genocide
There are a lot of chances that Bashar could win the selection and even Eurovision because of politics. I don’t know if this is really a good thing or a bad thing. I know politics shouldn’t interfere with Eurovision but it’s almost impossible
i don't want a Ukraine 2022 scenario... his song is really bad btw
Was stefania in 2022 bad?@@escraph
@@iraa8043 let's be honest for a second. If Ukraine were not under attack, they would not have won
@@escraph if I'm not mistaken, Ukraine was N3 in the odds before the invasion. So the song was actually about to win anyway.
@@iraa8043 so you're telling me that 400+ points in the televote was totally deserved??
Biomynd🔥❤️
af hverju er einu sinni útlendingur að taka þátt fyrir ísland? hver leyfðu þessu að gerast?… ekki á íslendingur að vinna fyrirsætu eða söngva keppni út í dubai eða japan
Anita ftw ✊🏻💜 Anyway, don't mind if Hera wins, simply lover 🙌🏻
Sorry but how the hell is Iceland favorite to win. Number One was literally the only contender to be good enough for Iceland's entry.
There was a song named "sand" in this national selection wasn't there?
Denmark 🇩🇰
Such a strong selection. I really hope Iceland doesn't go the politics road because that would be a massive waste.
I really wanted to like Bashar's song, I was expecting something like the Vidbir songs from the past 3 years, full of cultural identity combined with a strong personal input. My expectations went even higher when I heard that Hatari co-wrote this song, the same group that made the musical masterpiece that Hatriđ mun sigra is... and it ended up just being a very basic song with a generic anti-Western neoliberalism message, coming from someone who's apparently enjoyed the full benefits of an Israeli citizen (which probably explains why he doesn't have much to say as compared to the lyrics of Heart of Steel, Stefania, Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors, and basically almost all of the Vidbir songs from this year).
I want Iceland to win and I'm all for using Eurovision as a platform, but this is just a major disappointment. Not to mention the fact that I/P is politically nothing like the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which actually threatens the whole of Europe.
I would also like to see Iceland winning once. But not in that way with just using the Topic of the Middle Eastern Conflict.
And I can absolutely sign your last sentence. But I would also add that there is also the difference that there is not 1 side that is basically completely responsible for it.
@@jere_diekralle7284 yes, exactly! The I/P conflict is far more complex than what most people understand out of it. The only side you can truly be on is the innocent civillians in Palestine Hamas are using as a living shield and the Israeli people who are not represented by their extremist government.
@@chrisperry5365 thats exactly the Thing. Hamas is Misusing, mistreating and robbing the Palestinian people. And Israelians are getting fooled and badly ruled by the fascist governement of that Idiot netanyahu
Not Iceland sending the Palestinian guy just for their ego
You mean, their prime minister's ego, right?
He’s been connected to Iceland in Eurovision since recording a song with Hatari during the 2019 contest and he lives in Iceland now. Dismissing him as just “the Palestinian guy” is inaccurate and disrespectful.
@@GiveALittleLoveBackToTheWorld if you’re more worried about a peaceful protest than you are about allowing a genocide to unfold then you might be part of the problem. And he is an established artist who lives in Iceland so asserting that his mere presence in the competition is somehow “disrespectful” is ignorant.
@@frajoladellagatoI agree completely
What a bad NF. All the songs sound like the same girl bops. And tbh we all know who wins so
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Iceland won the whole contest
HERA ALL THE WAY!
Your bottom 2 is my top 2 lol
Come on, it's not politics, it's solidarity with a people who are living a genocide. 15,000 children massacrated! Isn't that more important than ESC? Have you got a heart?
Biomumd will be win
CeaseTone or Vaeb for me!
Ukraine ❤
hera´s song sounds like it was copied
Bad songs. I hope they will come last!
Bashad Murad, Palestina no.
What a mess. Hopefully they stop bluffing and withdraw already.
I don't think they will withdraw.
I hope they won't@@escraph
@@escraph I hope they won't. I also don't think they will when it comes to it. 🙂
At this point i want to see bashar winning, just to see the collision (even tali is israeli‼️) i want to see what ebu will do, because everything else here is trash
The difference between Bashar and Tali, is that Bashar is not even Icelandic, has no Icelandic background. He is Palestinian, a resident of East Jerusalem (which is in the territory of Israel, not even in the Palestinian area). He doesn't even know the Icelandic language. And Tali lives in Luxembourg for a very long time, and knows French very well.
Bashar's participation is a provocation, since he doesn't have ANY connection to Iceland, and there's a reason that he decided to participate this year and in Iceland's national selection (since they are also antisemitic/antizionist).
@@ido_cohenSo he lives in East Jerusalem? East Jerusalem is seen in Europe as Palestinian territory also by the whole international community.
Everyone but your 9# will be fine for me😅
Lmao
No Eurovision winner here so we all know what will happen now….. Cue Mr Palestine 🤨
The betters just lost a ton of their money 😆
Pathetic Iceland, can't even qualify without riding the politics coattails. By the way, just so you know Bashar is an Israeli-Arab. He has a blue ID (not green). If he wins the NF that'd make 3 Israeli representatives this year, congratulations Israel!
Yes I agree ...
Iceland are unbelievable .
Israel is committing genocide and you think it‘s time for a witty remark…
Who are the 2 other Israeli participants?
@@bestevaar7195Tali Luxembourg. And the 1 for Israel.
Pls not Bashar!
People will only vote for him because he is Palestinian, but his song is well... pretty meh, one of the worst in the selection... idk why people think it can win ESC 😅 Ukraine in 2022 sent a pretty good song (we all know why it won) but at least the production for Stefania was high, unlike for Bashar's entry... and I'm also sure many televoters won't know that he's Palestinian, so 99% that Iceland will not win, but flop 💁♀️
I want Hera Björk btw ❤ she deserve to have another chance after her robbery, she is the best option for Iceland. Pls don't mess up 🇮🇸 🙏🙏🙏
Well it's not certain Iceland will compete because of the war Israel/Palestine. So there is very much chance it will be Bashar to make a statement, I like his song anyway
@@eviken1982 yeah, but that choice will be political...
@@escziva69 So what I don't care. That Israel is competing this year while Russia was banned is also political.
@@escziva69 That Ukraine won with a shit song in 2022 was political that Jamala won in 2014 was also political but at least her song was OK and beautiful
@@escziva69 I know why Israel is allowed to participate because Israel still gets the support from Western countries and governments. In 2022 broadcasters wanted to withdraw certainly the big 5 if Russia was going to compete. The big 5 who spent the most to EBU and if EBU would ban Israel the big 5 and other broadcasters would be angry again.
Stingum af is such a bop, i hope this year Söngvakeppnin won't be ruin by that bland song
Lol nobody would care about Bashar song if he wasn’t Palestinian (+ gay). Such a bad song and even worse live singing. If he wins many are quitting watching this freak show, that’s for sure.
Bastare Murad
Luxembourg flopped so hard so hopefully this is good
Complete flop this year Iceland 👎
not all the songs are to put to the bin i think
Sucks
👎🏽
Полестина ❤🇯🇴
That’s the Jordanian flash 😂
Zerrinld songs, send the palestinian, you will might get pity votes, because his song is disaster as well...no final this year
