Best DIY I’ve seen on UA-cam. I’ve a BMW e90 2011 320i. I drove passed a speed bump at high speed and my reverse camera doesn’t come back on, what do you think could be the problem?
How can I make this setup work on my E92 6MT? I have it all installed and wired up to the front dash to the cic patch cable and the emulator. But then I found out the only way to get the Reverse Signal on an E-chassis manual car is to have already or retrofit at least the PDC module itself, and sensors too if desired. I just want to have the Reverse camera to show up on my CIC screen. What do i need to get or where do i need to hook up the power wires too on each side?
@@haykpoghosyan5251 I saw that after i cleaned my trunk up.. Hoever now my cic is dark after a dead battery and wont output display on the screen, but the radio and everything sill works. I have a full backup CIC system, so when i get that working again. Im going to try just supplying +12VDC to that wire and see if it triggers the Rear View Camera before cutting into the reverse lights, just incase it doesnt work for me.. Thanks
Hello bro I like the video I have my 2008 BMW X6 and I’m from illinois too maybe you can help me just to conect the cable of camera to rear rivers light thank you
you just need to do a VO code and it will do it right for you based on your cars options already, and then you add the code for the RVC and anything else you might want to add to the cic or even cas, frm because you would need to VO code them as well to all match and everything work properly together basically. It can be done pretty easily manually as well with Winfpk and INPA, and your k/d-can cable, and a laptop. theres a good virtual machine of a fully loaded bmw coding pc that works very well and is basically as translated as your going to get it. Google translate on the phones camera heps convert german words to english when coding and chatgpt can do a lot now too and tel you which code option(s) have to turned off or on.. Its called BMW Coding V3 Virtual Machine.
cool so it looks like i’m taking it to a shop
🤣
Gonna do this to my sister’s car as a surprise. Thanks!
Great idea! Really modernizes the car.

Connectors got disconnected, reconnect them and use elecrical tape to secure them.

did you figure this out?
I think you need a power light from the rear white lights, they turn on when you engage reverse gear

About to get into this upgrade. Did you need to use bimmercode or anything for the the other hardware install?
