@@molly-me5ik I mean the older sti's like the 04 and 05 are slowly rising in value as more and more people crash them up a tree. I bought my car for 14k( 2004 wrx sti, rally blue, gold wheels, STOCK), wirh 129k on it. Got an offer for 17k cash at 141k miles and shes only got 143k on her right now but I'm rebuilding the whole motor and eventually gonna do the tranny just cause. I'm tryna make the car look nice and stock minus the fully built iag stage 2 block that will be in her. And the act Xtreme clutch, streetlite flywheel. I want to build the car reliable and to what it should have been FROM THE FACTORY. 400whp.
So yea all in all the car isnt bad. Great daily driver. I met a guy who daily's his, original owner 2005 wrx sti with 175k on it and no accidents CAR LOOKS SHOWROOM GOOD and is stock minus an exhaust.
But he also has an e63 amg s WAGON, ferrari 430 manual, and a lamborghini murcielago manual too, so yea. I'd try to take photos/ videos of his car but I literally met the guy at a gas station and he showed me the cars on his phone and a lift he has to " work on them". So yea slowly but surely the cars will go up in value since all the new cars are all technology whores where as the older subarus are just more of pure drivers car, distraction free cabin atmosphere, which I've grown to love and enjoy and just 3 pedals and a stick.
@@MrDjvas yeah mate I have an 04 built Wrx 60k spent on it at 400hp, only has 50,000kms people offer me 25 for it. They are going up
Needs a rebuild every 7000kms because no one has ever driven more than 9000kms on a tuned EJ.
What an absolute beast of a car fam, and proper sound guy man, can't go wrong with a subaru
U can I owned a 05 wrx for 2.5 years and engine blew, clutch went lots of maintence etc good fun when it worked though 💪 mine was running 337bhp
@@johnyjackson6952 Because you had the worst Subaru engine going, that EJ25 engine is shit it come with problems as soon as it left the factory, I ran 380bhp with that engine un-forged on a 06 STi and knew it was a ticking time bomb, I forged the engine before the headgasket went on it and as far as im aware the car is still going strong.
@@welloilbeefhooked4984 mine was the ej20 2.0 not ej25 2.5 it was stronger engine and still blew up so after I put in the even stronger sti engine

Was it the standard UK WRX engine that went bang??? Ive known friends to have run 400bhp from the standard WRX block with no problems, But I guess its luck of the draw when you push more power out of these engines!!!

Crazy isn’t it! I’m old enough to remember having a thick briefcase containing a vhs camcorder that I’d have to rest on my shoulder like a large broadcast camera and the footage was shocking! Now we get footage like this on a phone being apologised for lol. The video in the 1st min of the guy talking is amazing quality.
Huawei P30 triple lens camera about 49mp. Half the price of a Samsung or Apple and twice as good in my opinion. Who cares if the Chinese are spying on me. Lol

It’s cuz it’s so light. Works out about 440bhp per tonne. Not much around with that kind of power to weight
