Both story lines bring a pretty hefty does of anime to their respective genres, but the game play of code vien is better imo and the big open world. @@IntergalacticOutlaw Honestly if they just made killing monsters easier in God Eater it wouldn't be as Tedious. and because of how absolutely mobile you can be in God eater vs Code vein. But killing things is easier in code vein. A fusion between Hunter game type and Darksouls would be if suddenly Code Vein 2 was Devil May Cry.
It's all good. I think Code Vein advertised God Eater well because players have wondered where that Aragami came from and wondered what it was. Players who have enjoyed the game tend to do a bit more research once they complete it hoping to know more about the lore. It is sad that nobody knew about the game even back then when it first released on PSP but now it's finally getting the publicity it deserved.

I played Code Vein before knowing about God Eater and I loved it. They mentioned this little city closed itself off completely from the outside world and the citizens in there didn't know of what was happening, mostly cause they died (i mean it could take years to resurrect after all) only a certain amount of people knew why revenants were created. So personally I feel like this little group just get to leave now to find out about the god eaters- so for me its fun to think thats at the same time the god eater series is happening they walking out of the red mist.

I couldn’t tell you if it is during GE 1, 2, or 3 though really. If you really don’t care about spoilers to sum it up: In CV everyone is trapped in this bubble that no one can get through and it all happened when the “queen lost her shit” and everything outside the bubble is Aragami and shit no one knows until main events in CV

metalnat27 being a GE fan and knowing it’s made by the same people, you will look out past the barrier and wonder until near end game. You really gotta dig into the lore of CV to really find the ties between the two. But they are there and I think some of the revelations would really hit home and give you a broader picture on the universe as a whole. Def two different styles of games though, one is a monster hunter with AI allies, and this one is without a doubt a Souls game with AI allies. I assume they are. BOR parasyte seems to me like a byproduct from the oracle cells just like the ashes were created in god eater 3. The difference is, a cycle of rebirth forced the blood to evolve and with it, the user.
The way I see it, the events of the game proper happen some time before the events of GE 1 (if not happening simultaneously). But if you do the Dweller In The Dark ending, there is a time ellipse between the last boss fight and the epilogue of that ending, meaning that it can happen after the events of that game (I would put it somewhere between GE 1 and 2, personally, but it’s ultimately up to interpretation).
The aragami were already around in code vein thanks to the brief appearance of Dyaus Pita and the thorns of judgment, and that hellfire knight and frozen empress are strikingly similar to Hannibal and Marduk

I played God Eater way back, however I never played Code Vein so I never knew this game is somewhat connected to GE. Now I'm curious if where Code Vein fits in the timeline of GE... somebody theorize that it could have been way later after all the GE main stories... for me, I wanted to think it could be somewhere in-between

The cause of the red rain in GE2 must be link to the red mist I think.. So if they go outside the mist they will see the GE2 or GE3 cast.. cuz in GE1 there's no red rain yet..

@@metalnat27 if i’m not wrong in god eater universe it has an apocalypse era before being that advanced right so my theories is the code vein game happens in that era so both god eaters and the revenant is possibly advancing at the same pace or atleast similiar pace but in different tech trees i mean the revenant is having an reliable food source so they will focused to made advances in term of tech and skill and when the god eater game takes place the red mist already subsided because io knows the revenant becames powerful and can takes the danger outside so in god eater era we can’t find the red mist dome again

With my character being part of Special Projects Unit called Chimera that used modified Oracle cells In an attempt to make super soldiers that can fight back agents the Aragami. A sort of progenitor to God Eaters. Research that would lead into Project Queen. Which my character was sent on loan to Silva to help with project Queen, and Later Project Queenslayer. My character would then die and be brough back as a revenant, with the Bor parasites altering the Oracle cells further and making my character a Void type. Allowing them to defeat the Queen and accept the Queens blood. At the cost of losing all my memories of Project Chimera and the conflict with the Aragami.
They should make a God Eater x Code Vein game where you can choose to be an: - God Eater (choice of Blood type or Ash type) - Humanoid Aragami - Revenants
Revenants as a base line seem to be very underpowered compared to god eaters. Cerberus revenants have alot of drawbacks and seemed to have been a failed anti aragami solution where as god eaters fight fire with fire using the very oracle cells aragami are composed of to fight them.
Also age is probably the most usless of the God eaters as they don't add many new things to them besides going into ash A Blood God eater and Revenant mix would be a better combo as they not only have blood arts that Age have (they they got a name change) they can also use Rage Burst for the added damage stack
So I just beat the game last night. But the way I'm taking it is their moving side by side story wise. What part of god eater they're at is hard to pinpoint cause we don't know what part of the world this is in that pita was around for a while too before the events of the first god eater. Or it's probably a different one. We don't know yet.
The thing I find critically flawed about God Eater being set in the future is why would they go from being almost immortal Revenants to Bloods. There's just so much more benefits to being a Revenant than there is to being a God Eater, other than the risk of having a frenzy. Human civilisation is much more prominent in GE as well considering you actually see and interact with some of the humans in the titles. Another point to add, CV's environment is so much more darker and damaged. The only thing that can be a decent statement to back GE being the future title is that the weaponry in GE is more advanced, & even then it's still not as advanced as becoming a Revenant. I believe it's the opposite way around, & Code Vein is set in the further future from GE.
Maybe I understood the lore wrong. I just best the game and from what I understood aragami showed up first and in order to defeat them they created a "Revenants" who are basicly human aragami as they are also immortal and can only be destroyed by breaking the heart/Core or else they turn to ash and are reborn later both Revenant and aragami share this trait. However the Revenant had the side effect of frenzy and would go awal and attack anything that moved (they basically became full fledged aragami) When the Queen frenzied she caused a war lost vs Revenants and instead of fighting the aragami they fought themselves Silva realized this could cause more chaos to the humans in the rest of the worl because then they would have to deal with both Lost and Aragami, so when the queen died and they created successors Silva became and surrounded the area in the red mist closing it off from the rest of the world, they had to be stuck living in the one area while the rest of the world moved on without the knowledge of Revenants thus they have more advanced weapons, and modes of transportation. So I would assume it's a prequel set years in the past. Since they are immortal I guess a Cameo could accrue. Both have around the same level of destruction but remember that both are 2 different game genres so God eater will have larger open maps while Code Vein will have more linear closed in maps, so Code vein will look more chaotic. But like I said I just now best the game, I have 40hrs and haven't done DlC yet so maybe they explain more then
Dose anything specify exactly how long it had been sense the queen was beaten? Everything that's been built between your memory and the present had to take time. The successors we run into also are on the edge of frenzy which given their isolation should have taken a while. The few newly built areas also look worn.
I hope you're not stupid enough to absorb origami blood into their bodies because that be bad. Or the blood rain from God Eater 2 because if so they will all turn into origami hybrids or whatever they are. And I hope they don't go into the ash fields aim or fight a ash argami.
They have a Special Parasyte to be immune to that... Though their body's are really different from a God Eater human. Mostly if we talk about OUR character who literally have the Queens Blode and relic. And a lot of different Blood Codes. We may even be able to Absorbs Aragamis Blood Codes or who knows
@@blakstar600 Not possible imo, even if they could absorb the blood, the bias factor is the biggest issue. At best, they'd turn into the Lindow-Hannibal thing, which was only stopped using bias factors too. Oracle Cells are fundamentally different than blood too.
@@nerobiblios4086 We don't even know if the Oracle Cells or the BOR Parasite will even be compatible. Or if they're enemy's by nature, Oracle Cells eat everything in order to make them better. The BOR revives the dead by replacing there Cells with it own blood, if I remember right? Mixing the two could have any number of effects or make something even more deadlier.
Actually. I think the revenant are "God eaters". So the god eater was created as a weapon with oracle cells right? I think those "oracle cells" could be the same as the "ROB Parasite". So while one sided created Material weapons, the other side created living weapons.

A Blood God eater and Revenant mix would be a better combo as they not only have blood arts that Age have (they they got a name change) they can also use Rage Burst for the added damage stack

So I just beat the game last night. But the way I'm taking it is their moving side by side story wise. What part of god eater they're at is hard to pinpoint cause we don't know what part of the world this is in that pita was around for a while too before the events of the first god eater. Or it's probably a different one. We don't know yet.

The thing I find critically flawed about God Eater being set in the future is why would they go from being almost immortal Revenants to Bloods. There's just so much more benefits to being a Revenant than there is to being a God Eater, other than the risk of having a frenzy. Human civilisation is much more prominent in GE as well considering you actually see and interact with some of the humans in the titles. Another point to add, CV's environment is so much more darker and damaged. The only thing that can be a decent statement to back GE being the future title is that the weaponry in GE is more advanced, & even then it's still not as advanced as becoming a Revenant. I believe it's the opposite way around, & Code Vein is set in the further future from GE.
Maybe I understood the lore wrong. I just best the game and from what I understood aragami showed up first and in order to defeat them they created a "Revenants" who are basicly human aragami as they are also immortal and can only be destroyed by breaking the heart/Core or else they turn to ash and are reborn later both Revenant and aragami share this trait. However the Revenant had the side effect of frenzy and would go awal and attack anything that moved (they basically became full fledged aragami)
When the Queen frenzied she caused a war lost vs Revenants and instead of fighting the aragami they fought themselves
Silva realized this could cause more chaos to the humans in the rest of the worl because then they would have to deal with both Lost and Aragami, so when the queen died and they created successors Silva became and surrounded the area in the red mist closing it off from the rest of the world, they had to be stuck living in the one area while the rest of the world moved on without the knowledge of Revenants thus they have more advanced weapons, and modes of transportation. So I would assume it's a prequel set years in the past. Since they are immortal I guess a Cameo could accrue.
Both have around the same level of destruction but remember that both are 2 different game genres so God eater will have larger open maps while Code Vein will have more linear closed in maps, so Code vein will look more chaotic.
But like I said I just now best the game, I have 40hrs and haven't done DlC yet so maybe they explain more then
Dose anything specify exactly how long it had been sense the queen was beaten? Everything that's been built between your memory and the present had to take time. The successors we run into also are on the edge of frenzy which given their isolation should have taken a while. The few newly built areas also look worn.

The revenent are basically artificially made human aragami so it the same principle as a god ark
I hope you're not stupid enough to absorb origami blood into their bodies because that be bad. Or the blood rain from God Eater 2 because if so they will all turn into origami hybrids or whatever they are. And I hope they don't go into the ash fields aim or fight a ash argami.

They have a Special Parasyte to be immune to that... Though their body's are really different from a God Eater human. Mostly if we talk about OUR character who literally have the Queens Blode and relic. And a lot of different Blood Codes. We may even be able to Absorbs Aragamis Blood Codes or who knows
@@blakstar600 Not possible imo, even if they could absorb the blood, the bias factor is the biggest issue. At best, they'd turn into the Lindow-Hannibal thing, which was only stopped using bias factors too. Oracle Cells are fundamentally different than blood too.
@@nerobiblios4086 We don't even know if the Oracle Cells or the BOR Parasite will even be compatible. Or if they're enemy's by nature, Oracle Cells eat everything in order to make them better. The BOR revives the dead by replacing there Cells with it own blood, if I remember right? Mixing the two could have any number of effects or make something even more deadlier.

So the god eater was created as a weapon with oracle cells right?
I think those "oracle cells" could be the same as the "ROB Parasite".
So while one sided created Material weapons, the other side created living weapons.
