This August, we'll arrive at St Pancras in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday. A quick cab ride to our Airbnb apartment on the south side to drop our luggage, and chances are the market will be the first place we go to begin our London vacation. Can't wait! The fish and chips shop there is fantastic! There is also a fudge stall that makes the best fudge. I loved the cinnamon raisin and the toffee fudge
I love that Market...:-) I was there whit my littlesister and parents. We have visit London Dunguons/London Tombs and was hungry - we found this close to London Bridge. Is a nice place to eat - and me who likes ginger cakes, fudge and Cheddar is great.
Not sure of it's name, but the indian place that does thali for 7.50....so good

I went over Christmas, and I don't remember the name of the place we went to, but they sold sausages, and sausage sandwiches. I had sausage in a warm bun with mustard and caramelized onions and it was so amazing!

The food is pricey but definitely the best-also the vicinity around Borough Market is very interesting too-Southwark Cathedral / Clink Museum/ Shakespeares Globe/ Millennium Bridge / Tate Modern / Sir Christopher Wren's house -all within a short walk of this market-make a day of it!

I just got back from a month in London. This market rocks. Would just add that it has permanent bleacher type seats to get comfortable while you eat and chat with friends.

It's the busiest stall.
I don't know what the stall is called, but it has curry and paella. I wanted to wait for the paella to be ready, but we were in a time crunch and the curry was ready and it was SO GOOD!

The website says that Monday and Tuesday are limited market days. I guess not all of the vendors are open?

Not sure of the name but there is this very small place that sells cracklin’ pork with applesauce on a roll. It's like crack. I was hesitant because of the applesauce, but not anymore.

My only regret of my trip in London: I forgot that the market was close in sunday......I visit Borough market the last day of my trip......the last day of my trip was a sunday......so I miss all the good stuff :(

Borough Market has become horribly 'corporate' and is now just another tourist trap.
I'd disagree. If you get to know the stories behind some of the traders (most of which are small-time), I think you'd feel differently :)
I was there last weekend. For a start the bakers are obviously all operating out of a single manufacturing unit. They're all selling the same stuff.
Same with many of the sandwich/sausage/burger makers, all using the same 'focaccia' bread. I also have to add that it's filthy, almost criminally so, and outrageously expensive.
It has become a parody of what it once was...
