I used the flagstone from your kit with a little subterranean hot hide. Leopard Gecko dug it out a little more and he’s underground now. First night in the tank it’s night.

Arid enclosures still benefit from having plants. They provide enrichment and benefit the closed ecosystem. In the ackie enclosure, there's a hedgehog aloe, some agave, and of course a prickly pear cactus!
If I do a Western Hognose bioactive set up, do I still need to mist if my house is high humidity? Or should I do it less often? What should their humidity be?
Humidity should be kept relatively low at 30-50%. To maintain this, mist about once a day. Frogs that eat crickets or worms like White's Tree Frogs and Pac-Mans will naturally get more calcium in their diet. Calcium clay baths are mostly for dart frogs because they don't get that level of nutrition from their smaller bug diet.
Super valuable video Josh! Keep them coming 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I enjoyed this video, and seeing your enclosures. Thanks for sharing your tips.

These are great tips!! What is your favorite type of lizard?
that's a tough one, I'll have to say emerald tree skinks though!
Those are super pretty!!
What kind of plants do you have in your Ackie encloser? I kinda thought you really can't have any.

@@TheBioDudeJoshHalter Ah okay, I've seen other Ackie enclosures without plants and just presumed its because the lizards may dig them up.

Do all frogs benefit from clay baths or just dart frogs? I have two whites tree frogs and one Pac-Man!
