- Aquarium Design Group is a world class aquarium and aquascape store that also installs and maintains beautiful custom aquariums. They have a great range of aquascape displays in their retail store including planted tank nature aquariums, Iwagumi, hardscape only, Betta tanks, reef aquariums and cichlid aquascapes.

I am a reef tank hobbyist and I have to admit that freshwater experts are miles ahead in aquascaping details, depth & aesthetics. I have seen some stunning reef tanks aquascaped by freshwater experts which makes me think they should work with reef tank counterparts more often.
This seems like either a dream or science fiction to me in rural Canada. I have never seen or heard of anything like this - It left me speechless. Thank you for sharing this experience George.

ADG has an amazing show room and it is really awesome the variety of aqua scapes that they have on display to educate hobbyists on what they could aspire to. The fact that they have all those supplies on hand makes it even better to accomplish their dreams. Great Vlog George!!
Truly the best aquarium store in the world followed by ADA Japan & Green Aqua. ADG does everything (reef, planted, hardscape). And the Senske brothers wrote a terrific book outlining their philosophy & techniques.

WOW! what a place! Thanks for the tour George! My two favorite aquariums, the Cichlid tank at the 11:15 mark and the Heavy planted aquarium at the 13:25 mark. The ADG Store looks like a great place with everything you need to make aquascaping possible!

That was amazing! I am afraid I would have to visit it like an art gallery regularly. Those low tanks are my favorite, especially the black and white theme and the two level planted tank. I would love to see your take on the planted tank! The diorama-look of full environments has always intrigued me. Art that is alive.

Well I do not know really where to begin, however, I will start by saying;
I love the Aquascapes in that fabulous place.
10:26, it is a simply beautiful aquarium, the simplicity actually looks great because of the detail that is added to it by pebble stones, and if I saw correctly some accent stones too, plus it was not one peace nor two pieces of wood yet there are more all lined up in a straight row, constancy is the Key in that particular Aquascape, really special indeed.
3:15 when I first saw it I thought there was no water in there until I noticed the Cardinal Tetras go past, I am so blown away by the water clarity it is Amazing. :)
My favorite is still the Reef Aquariums. :)
I forgot to answer your question from the last video, yes, I think you should set up a Reef Aquarium Back Home.

I think Green Aqua has the most entertaining owners and most interesting showroom on a compressed area, but ADG has just the biggest show room so each aquarium has enough space to unfold its beauty. It is just like in an art gallery, they present the art works in huge rooms with high ceilings for an outstanding effect. This is what ADG mangaged with their minimalistic display tanks, as well.

Hi George, what an amazing place! So much diversity and range of set ups to feast your eyes over. Love the hardscape only tanks and the heavily planted ones. The shallow planted tank looked stunning and I think that one of those would look great in the GFS. As always a great video with some very clear descriptions of the set ups. The guys have done an amazing job of creating such a world class showroom, their passion for the hobby clear for all to see and admire. Looking forward to everything Aquashella has to offer. I love the aquascapes with plants in general and this is my favourite but adg showed me the way how we can make extraordinary, stunning scapes with only hardscapes.

Wow! What a gorgeous shop!! I can appreciate the Iwagumi style, but I prefer the jungle, multi-colored, multi-textured aquascape. Of all the scapes, I covet the paludarium. I love the land meets river/sea idea of a paludarium. I think that will be my next project... well, after I get my shelving unit set up. I must organize my 10 gallon tanks. They are everywhere. LOL.

Wow,great place. Masterpieces I'd say. But since you called out all the special stores there is no one as beautiful as the Green Aqua gallery. These guys made the building disappear, I mean the only thing your eyes are drawn to are the scapes. No distractions; really clever and nice set up. Don't get me wrong I would love to visit this gallery.

Yes! Please do a UNS 60s shallow build! Very interested in whether a plant can grow with half submersed and half emerged without the submersed half simply becoming a leafless root.

The shallow tank was amazing. Not necessarily because it was shallow but the emerging plant growth. I sat and watched this with my wife and discussed whether this was feasible with having cats in the house.
