That's an early 2007 Classic LBZ Duramax. I miss the black extended cab Duramax in the past video. Keep the truck, It's gonna be a new Duramax content.
all he needs to do is get a whipple wheel and swap them out. much cheaper then replcing the whole turbo. once he deletes and tunes it, the exhaust and turbo wistle will get louder, there is also more then likely silencers in the intake. either way. theres cheaper ways to achieve the sound without throwing a whole turbo at it. lol. 5 inch turbo back exhaust for that matter.
so so happy to see another diesel on the channel bro. cannot wait to see the progress your channel holds this year. keep grinding man!!! much love from North Carolina 🙏
Truck was local to me. Clean truck. I saw it on marketplace but scooped up a clean 03 crew cab 4wd lb7 with tons of service history myself. I’d recommend getting a lift pump and bypassing the factory fuel filter housing. I love the cateyes. Want that hood and grille tho 🤣
Awesome purchase!! I'm just jealous of the rust-free trucks you have! Here in Michigan I swear these trucks are rusty @ 1 year old :-( Damn salt! I currently have a 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT crew cab , Diamond white with tan interior ( Like your Tahoe), 112,000 miles. It's beautiful except for the rear wheel arches are rusted out 😞 I swear this would be a $20K truck if it were from Alabama. How easy is it to find beds down there? My brother lives in Huntsville and I could visit him if there was a bed to buy 🙂
How is it so clean? I’m from Michigan and just had to pay $1200 for breaklines on my 06 Tahoe. $300 in parts but 1.5 days of labor, they had to drop the tank and spare tire 😂.
Cause it’s not from our shithole salt laying state, you can’t keep nothing nice here for long with our winters…I’m severely anal about hand washing my truck and it already starting to show surface rust in a few little areas,I’m sure it’s not bad for a 2010 and my religious washing definitely have helped but it’s a losing battle here , unless you store it for whole winter.
Keep molding and flares on, new style mirrors color matched and bumper plastics color matched. Stock 16s and 315 graps or 20” 5 stars and graps. Perfection
Like the idea but graps on a truck that heavy isn't gonna last much longer than one on boggers just putting out there for people who read this comment and wonder why there new tires are junk in a year or 2
Congrats man!! My dream truck as well, got good taste 😂 So stoked for the content with this thing, actually started consistently watching your videos when you got the last LBZ Also gotta say I love the color, looks KILLER
After your ig post I knew it had to be a duramax!!! My dad had a 2007 Silverado LT with the Lbz for most of my life… He bought it brand new in 2006 to tow our fifth wheel. When I grew older and discovered videos of what that truck could do, it became my dream truck. He had said that it would be mine when I turn 16 but unfortunately we got into an accident 1 year ago while going on a fishing trip. (1 year before it was supposed to be mine. 😢) The frame was badly damaged on impact and the engine blew up when the truck rolled over on its side. After almost 16 years of riding in an Lbz, and 300k kilometers, I can assure you that these trucks are reliable. If it wasn’t for this accident it would have easily gone to 500k. Anyways, I’m excited to see what you will do to yours! (Sorry if my sentences are hard to read, my first language is French.)
Bro you were in Atlanta and didn’t hit me up? Dang man 😂 Either way nice truck. At the same time you posted this video, my buddy bought a cateye 1500 HD w/ the 6.0, 80k miles. SUPER CLEAN.
Those holes in the bumper is missing the front tow hooks, there part of the Z82 towing package Tow hooks Transmission cooler Transmission cooler lines Towing hookup with 7 pin connector Bigger discs and calipers Towing mode on the column shifter Towing mirrors 2 sets of gears GT4/3.73 GT5/4.10 there was 4.10 and 4.56 that were codes G81 and G82
‘07 GMC 2x4 Extended cab Lt2 119k miles. The biggest improvements I made were the banks intake and exhaust with the WCFab downpipe and believe it or not the banks diff cover gave me over 1/2 mile per gallon and quieted the ride down. It may have to do with the Amsoil dif fluid they provide. I did the FASS 165 because everyone says that is a crucial upgrade, but that’s not something that I have noticed any improvements from. I also did the Banks intercooler and hot side pipe as well as the WCFab cold side pipe. This quieted it down and made the power delivery much more smooth. I bought the Banks exhaust manifolds, but need custom up pipes for them and I still have the emissions stuff to deal with. I’m looking into electrical resistors instead of aftermarket programming for “turn off”, because I want to see how everything does prior to putting some form of a chip in it and that strategy also expands my options for what systems I can use instead of being stuck with EFI live. I also want a fluid damper. Anyway, glad you bought an LBZ, really great trucks and I hope you have as much fun with yours as I have so far with mine. I have a hard time getting under 19mpg with my improvements so far with a best tank of 21.1mpg. cheers
You didn't buy a Chevy Lairdbutt! That's a vehicle for an American. It can sit 4 Americans weighing up to 1200lb each, it has special seats where you don't have to climb in, it's got an inbuilt toilet at every seat and an endless snack bucket and soda dispenser.
remove spare. new fuel filter, air filter , down pipe exhaust, kryptonite front end parts, remove spare, stock 16's on 33 or 35 bfg all terrains or falken wildpeaks. tint and a good detail should be ready to rock
The double lock click is a GM thing. I guess it started in 07 because my moms impala and dads truck are both that way. The first click unlocks the front and the second unlocks the rear. The places in the front bumper are used mainly for tow hooks
That headliner definitely needs to be changed out. The Lurch that previously drove old red must have wiped his hands off on it while eating fried chicken. 🤮
Fun fact 2015 high country interior bolts right in ...dash n all (well 1.5 inches saw Zaw off) I did everything oem correct . As if they made a high country cat eye
I don’t get it either..I remember when these dropped in the 1500’s in late 02’ most of ,y friends were like yuk, I like the 99-02 front end better..we used to say the front looked like jack nicholsons face grin…rather have a gmc if it is a 03-07
After 3 years glad to see you finally made it back into a diesel
That's an early 2007 Classic LBZ Duramax. I miss the black extended cab Duramax in the past video. Keep the truck, It's gonna be a new Duramax content.
If you'd like a unique and much louder sound on top of just exhaust, look into the new 9 blade turbos for these things. They sound killer!
I know that’s what I have and it sounds like a jet
all he needs to do is get a whipple wheel and swap them out. much cheaper then replcing the whole turbo.
once he deletes and tunes it, the exhaust and turbo wistle will get louder, there is also more then likely silencers in the intake. either way. theres cheaper ways to achieve the sound without throwing a whole turbo at it. lol. 5 inch turbo back exhaust for that matter.
There is just something about a turbo spooling up that just excites all of us!
Ryan’s diesel service just came out with a nine blade made in house….. it is loud. I’m kind of jealous.
NO WAY CONGRATS BRO. Can not wait to see the build you will do man
so so happy to see another diesel on the channel bro. cannot wait to see the progress your channel holds this year. keep grinding man!!! much love from North Carolina 🙏

those brackets in the tow hook section is for brush guard/push bar mounts
Definitely see a lot of potential in this truck! Maybe next vid service oil , front & rear diff fluids.
you should definitely keep that stance on there because that’s the perfect width for that truck
With the outcome of your past and current trucks I’m exited to see what this is going to look like 💪🏼
Awesome purchase!!

That’s your dream truck it looks so 1990s I just sold my 03 GMC sierra 2500 HD & bought a new 2023 GMC sierra 1500 AT4X extremely limited edition!
How is it so clean? I’m from Michigan and just had to pay $1200 for breaklines on my 06 Tahoe. $300 in parts but 1.5 days of labor, they had to drop the tank and spare tire 😂.

Keep it simple. bigger meaty tires on stocks, that's all these trucks need to look great.
Like the idea but graps on a truck that heavy isn't gonna last much longer than one on boggers just putting out there for people who read this comment and wonder why there new tires are junk in a year or 2
Factory sun roof definitely holly grail
I guess I missed the mileage, what is the mileage
Use washers on the top bolts for the mirrors and you can leave them instead of them Aimed up
Congrats man!! My dream truck as well, got good taste 😂 So stoked for the content with this thing, actually started consistently watching your videos when you got the last LBZ

Yo

Congrats! 5in straight pipe, lift pump, s&b cai and delete the resonator. That’ll get some whistle. It’s a good looking rig.
My dad as a 2002 Chevy it as 345,000 miles and still running with no check engine. You should get the Chevy 2002
Bro you were in Atlanta and didn’t hit me up? Dang man 😂 Either way nice truck. At the same time you posted this video, my buddy bought a cateye 1500 HD w/ the 6.0, 80k miles. SUPER CLEAN.

If you watch Truck Master, check out his new Ryan’s Diesel Service 9 blade turbo video. Sounds good
Hopefully this nice Chevy has replaced one of those, fix or repair daily, trucks. HD. Nice. I see plenty of content with this ride. Congrats.

Nice truck, would love to have one that year and style...BUT, I'd rather have the 8.1 lt LS... it's not a Peterbilt, no need for it to be a diesel...😏
Dude hell yeah 🤘🏼 imma have to come down south to get my next rig. I’d never find anything that clean up in these parts
Heck yeah, another LBZ Duramax guy!
remove spare. new fuel filter, air filter , down pipe exhaust, kryptonite front end parts, remove spare, stock 16's on 33 or 35 bfg all terrains or falken wildpeaks. tint and a good detail should be ready to rock
Nice truck. Does it have the G80 locking differential?
OMG you brought a diesel Finally Now were going to see some diesel content ❤❤❤❤❤
Oh yeah, things are about to get real!
If that truck feels slow, you definitely got something going on. Plugged fuel filter or something, because they are not slow, even bone stock.
Nice looking truck! You should address all the mechanical issues before spending any money on aesthetics.
U gotta get a lift for it
I thought you wanted a truck?
You got a cavalier! GM doesn't make a truck!
Ha Clean Truck, buy my 2006 GMC Sierra 4x4. I love it!
Newer oem Chevy wheels and grapps PLEASE 🙏🏻
Heck yeah dude keep it up!! And how many miles does it have? You might have said it but I didn’t catch it 😂
The double lock click is a GM thing. I guess it started in 07 because my moms impala and dads truck are both that way. The first click unlocks the front and the second unlocks the rear. The places in the front bumper are used mainly for tow hooks
Will you drop link to the OEM headrest I phucks with the LBZ
Nice! Always love your videos but from a diesel guy I’m excited
Bro I was just talking about with your GMC Sierra next to a cateye Duramax
That headliner definitely needs to be changed out. The Lurch that previously drove old red must have wiped his hands off on it while eating fried chicken. 🤮
Like the color congrats… maybe you can paint the rims bronze maybe?
You should put a smoke stack in the back of this truck please do it everyone here including me would probably love it
Get yourself a steamer and do a good detailing video! That’d go a long way!
My lmm duramax 2007 has a straight pipe exaust with a axel dump and 8 or 12 inch tip
Gawwlee I bought one in December, haven’t seen it because Iv been on deployment 😂😂 gawwlee i can’t wait to get home and start tearing into it.
Also Diesels are not normally peppy
fast with that tranny and rear end. Made for Torque, not speed.
Nissan titan back glass install it rolls down and imo it’s sweet glad to see you have your dream truck and I hope you keep it for years to come
Those mounts in the valance are from a brush guard attachments congrats on the truck love my 06
Bro I live in Chattanooga, that’s awesome! Great truck too!
I wish I knew you were in Chattanooga! I would’ve loved to meet you
In the future you should buy a powerstroke just to give it a try
Anybody see Bruce Wilson go by on the interstate when he was leaving the bank?
I wish my 05 Silverado looked that nice.
Love it bro. Back to a Silverado!!! Even out them mirrors.
I got a nice lbz I'll sell u at good price it's sweet truck I'm out of Nashville tn
Lbz are known for being the slowest of all duramax generations
Put 15 style mirrors
Ahhhhh.......a REAL truck!
Congratulations.
I’ve been waiting for another diesel since you sold the other lbz thing is clean
You bought her in my home town bro! She’s beautiful!!
Chase, 1500 hook from chomper will not work on the lbz
Y’all need to come to Chattanooga more often!!! Hate that I missed y’all
That truck was definitely dogged 😅
Clean truck! I’ll take your fender flares if you get rid of them
Hey Bro Im in west Ga and do details. Hit me up if you wanna make a video with me of a detail. we can do a deep detail and ceramic coating
Those mounts in the tow hooks are most likely from a grill guard like a ranch hand
only other thing its missing is the power rear window, was a 2007 only option
how do you find a 4 door cateye under 200K miles? i looked forever
Gonna be squatted with wides before you know it...
Fun fact 2015 high country interior bolts right in ...dash n all (well 1.5 inches saw Zaw off) I did everything oem correct . As if they made a high country cat eye
My dream truck is a LBZ 2500hd diesel
I Have Never Understood Why They Call These Cateyes, The Headlights Look Nothing Like Cateyes!
I don’t get it either..I remember when these dropped in the 1500’s in late 02’ most of ,y friends were like yuk, I like the 99-02 front end better..we used to say the front looked like jack nicholsons face grin…rather have a gmc if it is a 03-07
Stocks and Grapps immediately!!
finally bought a real truck and not some clapped out half ton
Alright, I guess I’m gonna have to sub.
Looks good and love the red..I am sure you will do a lot of upgrades..looking forward to seeing them..enjoying every uPgrade you do!😉
Bubba setup would look killer
Get a fuel lift pump. Delete the fuel filter under the hood. You won't regret it!
Are you going to go big with this one
Like 7 or 10 inchs of lift on 37s or 40s
hell yes i finally get to watching you and diesel content at the same time. Ive been working my LLY and upgrading things.
It definitely is not deleted it would smoke a little if it had any kind of blocking plate on it
We are going to need a LOT more content on this truck. Incredible find. Can't wait to see what you do with it!
I made a mistake selling my lbz and well I’m wanting to get back into one again.
If you pull off the dash there will be a sticker with the name on it
Get rid of that F150 and upgrade this to daily duty
Looks like the headlights aren't in the slots correctly or at all.
I have an 04 gmc with a 6.0 and replaced the tailgate gotta go l lock that now
Haven’t watched yet but a cat eye dmax is so dam sexy congrats man
