For the scene with Michelangelo you could maybe use one or two 1x2 green plates instead of the legs. This way it could be possible to mount him half way out without the shell interfering :)

@@RobinHoodBricksis it hard to find the 1x2 plates in bright green? I tried it with two green plates and it didn’t look bad. Also, If you use a black circular 2x2 “jumper” tile with the one stud in the center instead of the 2x2 black round plate, you would see fewer studs under him?

Maybe You could put pizza boxes next to Michelangelo on some transparent minifig "action stand" so it would look like waiter throw them up in shock :D
I LOVE how there are people with disabilities and whatnot roaming about BrickNottingham, it's cute and very inclusive! Also a suggestion for Michaelangelo is using one of those clear super hero pose thingies to make it look like he is jumping out of the sewer, he is a ninja after all!
There's a lady with a guide dog near the airport too!
Looks fantastic... though I would say a Mexican Mariachi is a bit out of place in an Italian restaurant!
Maybe have a violinist or someone selling roses (a la the scene in Phoenix Nights "rose for the lady?" 😂)

The green of the build does a good job of kind of extending the green space even though it has a building on it. I like the thought of having them shouting or waving at each other across the bay like rival sports teams.

Lower the sign? Then it would be more reasonably proportioned, haha. It needs to be OTT!
I think the waiters would already be used to the turtles ordering pizza by now, so the regular face is pretty perfect for that. But maybe some guests at the closest table or walking by could have shocked faces and dropping their food on the floor in surprise. 😅

Wow, Robin! This is looking great! I admit I was skeptical of the lime green at first but it works really well! And I love all the details of the scenes out front!
I do think the chimney for the pizza oven needs a vent on the roof for the exhaust gases to escape.
Overall all the work you put into this really shows and it makes the harbor area look even more complete. Kudos!
I wonder if it would make sense to switch the chef minifigs: put the panicked one inside the restaurant by the stove and the calmer one on the revolving sign. Just a thought. I love this entire scene!

Update on my build i mentioned in your last video on this. I finally had the parts i needed arrive, now im just starting on the architecture.
Having to dig around a single bin carrying most of my spare parts and disassembled sets (i had to store them all together for a long move)
I did take your idea to have something shady, which is expanding the building concept to a three story, but i like that! I dont have a lot of horizontal space, so building vertical just seems more right for now. Its also next door to another original build.
My city pizzas gonna be the most popular place for the workers in the lower levels of this city to eat

I don't if I've just missed this, but Pepper Roni is the lead character of the 1997 Lego video game "Lego Island" - Pepper is a pizza delivery boy. Perhaps you could alter your Pepper Roni to better resemble the original character as an homage - (blue trousers, white cap, yellow skateboard?) - although there is an official Pepper Roni minifig from 2002 I think....

if you were to use a 2x2 round jumper in black and then prop him up with a two by one green plate it might give him the hight for the shell and some poseability, and the hole would be a little smoother
It would need to be at least two plates in Bright Green which may end up looking worse than him standing there!

I think you should make the tables and chairs red to go along with the color scheme the blue doesn't go with the umbrellas.

The pizza shop is brilliant. I wonder how much work it would be actually cut a hole in the table to connect the turtle layer using the utility shaft to the surface. That way the access could be figured out size.
I feel like at some point you should put a chum bucket moc on the opposite side facing the Krusty Krab for obvious reasons
I used the big Chum Bucket sticker as an adcert on the tiny shack near the Chinese restaurant boat, so it must be around here somewhere!

Are there 2x1’s in the same color as the turtles? Maybe you could build enough height to clear the shell? Also like the idea of having action bricks under the pizzas as if they’re toppling out of the waiters hands
Action bricks sounds good. Too many plates may look a bit odd as I'll need more than one!
Maybe you could change the head and hands to a different color on the chef. 1/2 green plates for the turtle

maybe if that black disk in white was than made more sense as a pizza plate and other a icecream plate and than it give more pop up with the sign to show it 😀

Robin, you need to look at both Monkie Kid (both for your Ninjago City plans & TMNT Zeppelin) and Dreamzzz for it's Balloon option(s).
I still think my explorer zeppelin beats all the brick built ones. I'll stick with my floating Chinese restaurant. Surely closing off the back with big clear panels is no different to what I have now!

Just think what for scene you could make with that one.

Remove the legs. Add a black 1x2 to the bottom of the ninja turtle 🐢
Can you show the build of the flower baskets?
Take a lattice fence piece and push into the top holes the side studs of two 1x2 modified bricks with studs on each side (black). Put a brown tile along all the other set of side studs and random flowers on the top ones. Done!
Yes! Part 2 makes the whole pizza place even better. Looks awesome in the city - much better than before.
I really like the tall 3D sign very different to all the others in your city. Is this the first moving 3D sign in your city?🤔 Everything outside works really. The waiter serving the Ninja turtles would be better with a shocked 😮 face.

I thought the whole idea was to rotate the entire build so the back of the open restaurant was towards the hole? No its been guillotined in both sides? Just put a green 2x1 under turtle waist.. looks like his waist to any of us above
In my MOC pub scene I have darts. Initially I had the target from the Castle Armoury (6041) and now I have a real dartboard from a Ninjago set. In between I used the cheese and tomato pizza which looks more like a dartboard than the target. I know you had a game of darts somewhere, is that where I got he Pizza idea from?
No I used a dart board from the Creative Ambush 70812 set in my Krusty Krab pub!

There was an Extras sticker pack a couple of years back. Set 853921 I think. Lots of good ones there but awful on curved pieces. They want to stay flat!

The pizza restaurant looks great. I'm not sure I like the open back facing the street. When you originally showed the open back, I assumed it would be facing the standing hole and have it "guillotined" like the other buildings that back up to the standing holes.
The whole middle run of shops from there to the ski shop are open backed into a road. Works fine as you can't see them from behind from anywhere!
Yes, I thought about that as well. Turning the whole baseplate, restaurant and outside scenery, 90 degrees to the left, so the restaurant's open side would be back to back with the monorail station could work nicely. Only repositioning Angelo and his hole could be a challenge, because of the fence... Just my 2 cents.
