I built a LEGO WW1 Trench Battle... in HOW LONG?!

- This LEGO WW1 moc was the most PAINFUL LEGO BUILD that I have ever done... It took an insane amount of time and money, but I know for a fact someone is going to say "skill issue".
I will find you :)

This ww1 lego military base was absolutely brutal. Never did I think a military lego ww1 moc of a simple lego trench battle could take so long. Essentially to dive into the lego world war 1 genre I built a new world war 1 lego army, ready for a new lego war. As daleybricks pointed out, i should probably get a bunch of zombies and then after i record each of my videos, swap the lads out for zombies and just get free content out of it. Lego zombie apolocalype videos on a lego world war 1 battle? zombie lego is hard to come by, but if i ever want to do lego history stuff like lego animation or lego stop motion kind of lego film content, it might be a good idea.
Yeah that was a tangent but back to the point.. lego world war 1 army base build at the ready. I need to watch some lego build tutorials to learn how to build lego mocs better as this took way too long. The lego great war was actually a great war in my own mind. Enjoy this trench war lego moc lego trench moc people, you didn't earn it.

I bet accidentally stepping on one of those German helmets would feel great.
Maybe a great thing to itch your feet
That’s probably why they changed the design lol ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Oh no, very good scratcher
Let's find out
@@ScotsPlasticyou could have got those murderous German helmets in Dark Tan instead of black.
If you look on pictures you can see that they were in the field all covered with this brown/tan helmet cover.
I just think they look soooo much better and realistic
The difference from his first lego moc is actually insane. Even with the money I couldn’t do something this good
These videos are getting better and better, although I wish legos weren't so expensive these days 😅
@@IdentifiantE.S true
Bro you'd be surprised how many of these UA-cam show us fake lego sets and we think they really got money like that😂😂 don't be fooled friend.
@@IdentifiantE.Sgo bricks are almost as good as legos and are a lot cheaper
Perhaps this can help offset your £1000s debt or whatever... or at least buy you a drink somewhere.
All praise the Mighty Soct!
Timey you absolute madman!! Thank you good sir!!
The guns are not accurate.
@@Tcpgvrbro it still a god build like calm down stop crying
@@Tcpgvrbro it’s Lego..
Small historical mistake: This seems to be late war because the trench gun and mp 18 were used in the second half of the war. So, the germans should have had stahlhelms instead of pickelhaubes
Well some german veterans from the early war still used the picklehaulbe as they were mire used to it, thus this division is probably just made up of veterans from the early war!
Aint nobody care dawg
@@Mr._LudwigWell, the mp 18's were primaraly used by stortrooper units, witch were formed mid to late war
@@Lions-7539clearly you are wrong, and based on the way you are speaking you are either young or just dull.
@@Mr._Ludwig nope wearing a pickelhaube even after 1915 was a death sentence with how intense artillery usage got it was either wear the steel helmet or die
10:15 "It's pain and misery"
*Incredibly upbeat song playing in the back ground*
Guess how long this took me...?!
HELP ME
nuh uh
17 hours, but scot get help or I'll mail you to denmark
too long
17 hours?
nuh uh
For the telephone wires you could also use the Lego string, either the one with studs on either end or not, your choice
Wow, incredible work. I had so much fun watching you as a myself have a skill issue. You inspired my to go picking through my Lego boxes and remember old memories... I even started building a trench of my own!
The terrain looks so nice, even in the beginning. Super creative, its so cool.
I can just imagine how it would look having multiple of these trench network segments linked with each others, like another one to the left where the train tracks continue and the ruins are more prominent, as in to have a bigger battlefield like irl. Tho i can also imagine how many rooms of space and blocks it would take judging just this segment took a whole table by itself 😢
Damn man’s more dedicated to Lego than a 6 year olf
Really creative work, the potholes and trench network are both very nice and intricately put together!
69 stuff
19:30
“The battlefield looks too dead for my liking”
Proceeds to add tree stumps, DEAD trees
No pun intended?😅
You did a very good job with that moc, keep up the good work
LEGO world war/ war/ modern warfare/ army was definitely one of the things I tried to crack and loved buying the real life custom LEGO guns off ebay. I'm glad people also appreciate the fact that army LEGO is one of the best LEGO types and is worthy
Brilliant. Thank you so much for sharing your building technique. I hope to start a Jurassic Park Moc and can see that a number of your techniques will help me. Will you be building other Mocs or stay focused on WW type Mocs?
This is really good! And the only problem that i don't want to say but i gotta say is the vickers machine gun and where you hold you'r hands to fire the machine is under the vickers machine gun, so yeah but great build!
Wow this looks great! You are doing so much better each video with building Mocs! This definitely inspired me to build a WWI moc myself. Keep up the great work!
Yes,action figure
awesome mock you can really see how every mockk gets better than the last love it. keep it up
Looks good, the only slight nitpick would be the use of German Helmets. While the Pickelhaube was ofcourse used by the Germans in the first world War they weren't in use by the time the MP18 saw action in 1918, using the Brickarms Stahlhelm (while it is the WW2 counterparts) would atleast at a glance add to the time period accuracy
Love your videos and keep up the great work❤
cool build keep up the good work 👍
1 MILLION!! Absolutely incredible work Scot, it's only up from here
Always thought Lego was missing out on the untapped potential of history-themed sets geared for mature audiences. I would love to see official WW1 sets, as well as WW2, Vietnam War, American Civil War, American Revolution, French Revolution, Napoleonic Wars, The Alamo, Desert Storm, etc. Imagine building incredible battlefields, tanks, and aircraft carriers. The history sets don't even need to be exclusively war themed. They could do the Signing of the Declaration of Independence, A Shakespearian play performed at the Globe, Mozart conducting one of his symphonies, MLK giving his I Had a Dream Speech. The possibilities are endless.
Im not first but no-one's said they're first yet so I'll claim it for the propaganda, those who write claims, win history.
well then I claim 2nd place for same reasoning
I claim 3rd for that too
Ur work is amazing and it has inspired me to get back into lego building. Keep up the great videos dude
Hi Jed in a fan
This is great! I just found out on this other channel you own, and the content is great, keep up the work!
Great job the build looks great!!!
Loved watching this. I'm a huge fan of watching Lego dioramas and MoCs being built, but so many of them are focused on Star Wars, a series I really do not care about at all. As a massive twentieth century history geek, it's really cool to see a take on something that actually interests me.
yeah the world wars are particulary fascinating , especially the tecnological revolutions they brought along with them
Yeah Star Wars, and WW1/WW2 MOCs are the most common
This was so good, I kept thinking it was copied from a professional. I’m truly impressed by the progress you have made from the start of this channel
Also thank you for my comrades new home. They love it. How is this on 100 likes? Thanks
Baguette caught saying comrade in 4k 😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲
@@PINYO1975 ok?

It’s a baguette 🥖😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊
the only thing that isn't historically arcuate is the grass where the bunker was on there was no grass on the western front for miles it was just a muddy field but other that this looks absolutely amazing.
Nice build man!
nice build! but you should switch the British and germans around, the British never had bunkers in ww1 that I know of (apart from the ones in London) and it was unlikely that they had train tracks to supply but it wasn't impossible.
Well, it could work if there was context where it was a trench that the British captured from the Germans and the Germans are counterattacking to take it back?
@@foxtrothermite6499 but the direction they are facing would be wrong
@@foxtrothermite6499 they would be facing the wrong direction. the germans would have been pushed back so they would be attacking from the opposite direction.
where you buyng a lego???
this moc is amazing keep up the good work
cool moc, to make the black border even better tile it off and maybe make it 1 stud thick rather than 2
needs more warcrimes, otherwise 10/10
Ww1 in a nutshell
I agree
We need some prisoners been executed
Definitiv ja, mehr Kriegsverbrechen.
Imagine the most gruesome moment of your life being represented by legos 😂 amazing work though
7:31 when you said ten o’clock at night I looked at the time😂
Great moc , the United bricks parts look really good . Gotta get some myself .
As a ww1 and Ww2 historian, i was trying to keep my mouth shut about the way that everything was set up on the British side 😅but I still think it’s a great build, I am probably just picky😂

Keep up the good work, love the content❤
Very good video, keep it up 👍
Am i the only one that sees that on the machine gun`s the
handles not on the correct position (on the back) but instead you have placed them under the machine guns as standard thats why that cylinder is on the back of the gun to place the handles.
Bro is better at building than me 😭
Nice video and mock
You are really improving!
Your on your way to a great place Scott. You have so much potential to be no.1 Lego builder on UA-cam! I love watching your content
Great vid and build! But I think there’s a difference between a pothole and artillery crater 😂
I imagine the roads where he lives are so badly maintained that it's reasonable for him to believe that "pothole" and "crater" are synonymous!
Great moc its amazing. Would be incredible to see you add more and more to it each time increasing the size of the base plates square by square.
Bro is dedicated to his Lego build to the point he just refuses to sleep and build all night. Man your Lego build is great
I could’ve done this in 2 hours… SKILL ISSUE!!! Just kidding this is wildly impressive, and I could’ve never done this! great job!!
Lol
dang this is better then when he found my dad and killed my family
The build looks really nice
Amazing keep up the good work ❤

great stuff i expect more in the future!
Nice this is what I needed
I’m a seven-year-old boy
Ok and
@@Iamhim4267 ok and?
You should try stop motion, like have a challenge to make atleast a 2 minute video of a ww1 battle with that trench set or any set/battle you chose! It would be great and enjoyable to see.
What would make some great spent artillery shells would be shell casings from a .22 caliber round. Being you’re in England tho I don’t think you have access to that lol
Wow that took long but was definitely worth it
Scott calling the Dutch soldiers Frenchmen made me cry
wow scot amazing build hope to see more
FLAMMENWERFERRR!!!
For his first time doing pot holes I’d give him an A+
If you still have this you should extend it but extend it on the side the germans are running from and make a german trench! Oh and you should use one of those clear rods and stick little ones on it and put brown circle 1x1s to make it look like bullets are hutting the ground snd dirt is exploding!
Brilliant build!
The mocs look so good bro
The bunker is awesome!!! LOVE your video's
Very nice mate
All that reddish brown... have fun taking it apart
0:21 Ah yes, the most deadly weapon in WWI, the baguette! XD
I can’t imagine building all this
“It’s pain and misery but let’s crack on” is the most British thing to have been said since Churchill’s going through hell quote
I love the build man! WW1 is my favorate wars and combine it with the best toy as a kid!? Your to smart.
BRO PLS MAKE A PART 2 ( add more things on another 2 plates), THIS IS AVESOME!!!
This is a amazing video, could you do another ww1 video? But with the Belgium army pls.
Looks good!
I love the detail
Wow that is beautifully built all you need is a couple of ww1 fighters having a dogfight over the trench also any chance of a part 2 where you build a German trench and combine them
I think you’re better at building then, daily bricks
Great job keep it up
very underated youtuber keep up the great work :D
insane build love it
I love ur video's pls make more!!!
I love this channel!
You should do the ultimate war with all your solders divided between good and evil including things like green army men, black widow, nick fury, S.H.I.L.D and hidra also castle knights etc. etc.
Bro this looks amazing!
Lego in the 60s: "We won't make any gray pieces so people can't build tanks and other weapons of war."
Lego in the 2020s: "I built a LEGO WW1 Trench Battle... In HOW LONG?!"
Bro this is soooooooo good it’s amazing good job man and your on your way to become a star
Ok I’m nearly halfway through and it’s looks great!
Looks amazing
I’m glad you made a Lego trench battle, cool
Two things. 1:you have to be really careful when taking it apart if need be.
2: can yo make a narrow gauge trench railway diorama?
This is the best moc I've ever SEEN !!!
world need more builders building mocs just like that :))
