Buddy Miles is awesome! Very different from Mich Michell, he added kind of "solidnes"... And those fast fills! Maui band is in my opinion best Hendrix line up! Billy Cox and Mich Michell💪
I have cherished this album ever since I stole it from my big sister in the 70s. I never realized all the fills and bass drum magic in it listening to the album. Nice job as usual. I can't imagine what it must have been like drumming for Hendrix when he was in his prime.
Another classic I've listened to a million times and again, you brought the energy and gutbucket pocket that Buddy brought. Nice work George, thanks for posting it.
As we say in the UK - ‘You gave it Socks and Welly!’ Nice one. Awesome fills and the cymbals sound absolutely fantastic. Great groove. Thanks George- have a brilliant day !! 🥁👍🏼🏴🥁
Oh man Iv missed the gold sparkles I haven’t seen them for such a long time give em all a hug for me. PS the drumming was pretty awesome and spot on as usual lol.
I've run out of superlatives, George, so kindly accept you absolutely killed it. PS: Saw a live1975 11th House video, Alphonze was using four floor toms.

Heavy tune George! Buddy Miles was an incredible drummer. Sounds closer to Bonzo than Mitch, who was more into Elvin. Both great, just different styles. The kit is back by the way, and sounds fantastic! ✌❤🥁
BOG!! Incredible band! Thanks so much for covering songs like this! Amazing job! Go Buddy! BTW: Did Buddy play a downbeat kit? 20" bass drum? 5" snare? Just curious what he played for drums and cymbals.
@@BONHAMOLOGY Don't even know what your reply implies. You know what I'm saying true right? Miles is straight power player .Period. Zero finess. Not even fast . Very limited imagination. Very right hand dominant. Like way too many drummers. Ambi is the future. MItch was rh dominant but oh so clever with his many rudiments. Try Third Stone from the Sun. You claim to be a jazz guy. C'mon dude . Try to advance the art not stay in the past.
@@drummerman493 I very much disagree. Anyone who has that serious of a pocket and feel doesn't have zero finesse. I love Mitch, and he obviously had a lot of influence, and finesse, from the influence of the jazz greats that he admired, but I love Buddy for his soulfulness and pocket. There is a lot of sophistication involved, an innate artistic depth when someone plays with that kind of feeling and groove and soul.
Finally Band of Gypseys🥇
Buddy Miles is awesome in Band of Gypsies including his vocals. Love the Fillmore concert.
I wore this album down to a fine dust in my teens!
Me too 🎸🥁🇺🇸
Hey man when Bonzo died he jumped into your soul, Great chops and speedy right foot, Johnny B. would be proud. Ramble On.........

Thanks dave, I was trying to give it a little Bonzo flavor
Man, Ill tell you. You my friend are a bad mo fo!
Thank you, sir!
Sounds awesome with the Fludas/Bonham flavor. Any thoughts on maybe Skynyrd’s ‘Double Trouble’. That could use some tasty triplets😆
🔥🥁😃
Have a great one
You too!
Dennis Chambers called Buddy "the cement mixer"
Verry good. What is setup of drum
Toms sound great! Ambassadors or Emperors on batter side?
BOG!! Incredible band! Thanks so much for covering songs like this! Amazing job! Go Buddy! BTW: Did Buddy play a downbeat kit? 20" bass drum? 5" snare? Just curious what he played for drums and cymbals.
Not sure, I think that's what he most often played. I'd have to Google some pics. Check out his album Expressway To Your Skull....great stuff
Is the 402 wide open, or is there any sound control going on? Sounds amazingly amazing!❤️💥😎
The BEST GIORGE!💪💥
Che Cymbals used?❤
Hey George, any chance of covering something from Lynyard Skynyard? Maybe Freebird
If Buddy and Mitch were the same person, you might get Bonham
Try doing Deep Purple song Burn it is in 4/4 196 bpm 6 min. long and has 24 part changes good luck Ian paice is looking on. Hey to Terry 🤘
I already did it, search my videos
@BONHAMOLOGY You musta' been cooking so fast fast he missed it !
1969 is fine.
I was 1½ years old
As usual, aanother superb job.
Now we all need you to do the version of Machine Gun from the original BoG album.
You want impress pro drummers? Play Mitch well. MIles is a predictable average chopper.
💀
