This is a extremely challenging project for many professionals Paul. Thanks for sharing your greatest talent in piano playing on youtube. You are among my 10,000 , 123,000 hours collections of mp3 piano music from early music to modern easy listening !
Wow! I loved Paul's interpretation! This sonata is technically demanding and I think it requires a pianist to reach a certain level to play this stormy piece. His clear notes and colorful texture in the second movement has won my heart! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Keep it up, Paul 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
My best love of all Beethoven Piano Sonatas since my early teens over half a century ago ! Most profound and with vision of a long distance future ahead in the last movement.
Amazing technical prowess and a phenomenal performance of this absolutely demanding work! You are a virtuoso Paul and wonderful for you to share your beautiful performance with us and a wonderful dedication to your Emilie. I hope you are all doing well and remaining healthy. ~Jackie
@@Haliflux1111 you're correct, in France during the baroque era they had a performance style that couperin used a lot called "notes inegale" meaning unequal notes, so it had a swing rhythm.
Beethoven can see the music of a distance future. He already envision the rhythmn of ragtime in the early 20th century ! I am still researching his late string quartets beginning when I was about 9 years old.
Would you show your hands when you come to the Hammerklavier ? I would like to see how to properly tackle the complicated trill playing without getting broken up when a melody is playing together at the same time in one hand.
Beethoven's latest sonatas are insane

3:49 - 4:12 Para mi, el momento más emocionante de esta sonata, y de los momentos mas emocionantes de toda la música clásica. Amo esa parte.
Yes, of course.

9:58 2nd Movement
God, thanks!!!!, I was waiting for the variations (my favorite part)
Thank you, Sir Paul Barton.
The section around 17:45 doesn't sound like Beethoven. Almost sounds like Joplin.
Mike Kushins I’m not 100% sure on this, but I think Joplins style was used back in the baroque era, but the called it something else.
Ludvig van Beethoven created in classicism, not in baroque era

Who knew Beethoven swung?
Beethoven was making bangers
17:19 onward : Beethoven taking a break at the disco !
