I was surprised to see you sell Chancela, as I know she was your go to horse. What a relief she's going to such a good home. I guess when you are a trainer, you have to make room for the next horse coming along. I really enjoyed the behind the scenes of the event. I'm sure you learned a lot and maybe sometime you can go just to see how other sellers approach selling their horses. Then when you have a special 'diamond' again, you have a clearer road map of what to concentrate on. Thank you for taking us along.
I think special mustangs like Chancla will eventually sell for better prices at sales like that one once people learn how amazing they can be if you put in the work and train them right. But if people don't put them on offer like you did then it'll take longer to happen I guess. I think a lot of ranch/trail ride businesses get stuck on quarter horses and while they're great it's about more than breed when a horse is a working animal. I'm very glad Chancla went to a good home though. Thanks for sharing
I wish the horse area were more horse friendly; parking lot, thrown up stalls, concrete, train, no roof, no warm up area. I think you did well in your first time. The current " fashion" is cross bred gypsies and drafts. From what I've seen. I'lll miss seeing adventures with Chancla!

What an experience! Glad she found a great home, next time you will know exactly what to do. Must be difficult when you are so close to your horse.
