I cannot believe this man's story. It is amazing. I am white british and used to listen to David Rodegan roots rockers on capital radio in the late 80's. I never knew the Yellowman story. It has taken me almost 30 years to revisit my youth and thoroughly appreciate who he was, what he did and most importantly, where he came from to be who he is. In my humble opinion, he is one of the most amazing people I have never met, but desperately wished I had met before I move on to whatever is next.Yellowman, you are a true inspiration in this modern world of leaders that think it is more important they have toilet paper in their shithouse than what actually matters. Jah love to Yellowman. I saw him at Raggamuffins 2010. Great performance! I met him after the show and he was such a nice gentleman! What a survivor! A good heart despite being abandoned as a child, being different due to his skin color, even jaw cancer! His voice and inner strength is beautiful. Much respect.

I’m not into music that much but, yellowman is a special musician in my humble opinion. He’s been through so much from a very young man to where he is now. Everybody knows Bob Marley and Buju Banton. But here in the states not too many people know yellowman. So I walk into my cigar club cranking yellowman some of the Jamaican guys there were shocked to see me playing him. I always root for the underdog that’s my thing. Live on man keep being a great guy and keep the spirit flowing.
