- People with asthma have sensitive airways in their lungs which react to triggers, causing a ‘flare-up’. In a flare-up, the muscles around the airways squeeze tight, the airways swell and become narrow and there is more mucus. These changes make it harder to breathe.
You’d think the body would try and help itself. When the lining is inflamed you’d expect the body to halt mucus production and to *relax* thw muscles around the tubes.
asthma makes me run out of breath a few seconds after running
Man I don't even know if I have asthma but when I run for a period of time I feel something in my chest might be my lazy ass tho
i used to have asthma as a kid now im 20 and i did comp swimming throughout my life and naturally my lung capacity exploded in growth and now i dont have asthma anymore. I can swim 100m or more without taking a breath or needing minimal air. Crazy what sports can do to your body
To add to this, there is a connection between asthma and gut health. Some researchers found that food sensitivities played a role in 25-90% of asthma cases! If you're struggling with asthma, you could try a basic gluten/dairy/eggs/soy free eating plan, or talk to a healthcare provider about trying elemental formula or mediator release testing. Just remember it's most helpful to work with a health professional on these things and have an epipen on hand when reintroducing foods, in case they trigger a reaction!
Sounds like EOE
One more is fasting. Today I found out that I have Asthma. Am on it now. In the next 6 months I will get rid of it without Med but through other natural ways starting with fasting and diet. Thank you
@@sadeclips7660you cannot ‘cure’ asthma
@@sadeclips7660it’s a chronic condition
I’m not asthmatic but I was hit by a bacterial chest infection, followed by Covid 19which inflamed my airways and causes sometimes airways to be triggered by particulates in the air. I now can somewhat relate to what asthmatics go through…
This kind of makes me itch looking at this
