@challengerprod I said this like a year ago in producers grind on my other small page and it had a crazy amount of likes...BUT a lot of people commented saying it wasn't used 💀🤣🙏🏽
2:10 The album the sample is from, Mac Arthur Park, is available in full on the Internet Archive; this is usually the case for recordings too obscure to be available for purchase digitally.
Yo aiden actually the open hat doesn't repeat at every 4 bars if you listen closely it's actually 8 bars But nice job with these remakes they're phenomenal 👌🏻👌🏻
Mustard just has his own unique sound man. Him and Honorable C Note are two producers I can always tell when they made the beat tag or not. Also killer remake man!
i dont even listen to this genre of music as much but as a producer and a perfectionist theres something so incredibly satisfying whenever i watch your videos. been following for a while now. keep it up :)
This is a dope idea! Here's a comment to boost the algorithm. Edit: YO! thanks for the youtube to mp3 converter tip. Been looking for another one. Nice looking out.
Beat making is weird. You can spend hours working on something, only for it to sound just okay. Then you just fuck around with some random sounds and make something dope
tbf its not SUPER accurate, what I've always done was just click in the tempo as the song is playing and then fine tuning it by looking at the waveform to see if it matches to the grid
This gets even more impressive knowing this was only 1 of 50 or so beats Mustard sent Kendrick. He was sending like 5 beats a day to him and Kenny finally heard one he really liked and Mustard didn't find out until it actually came out. Imagine what the other ones were... Mustard deserves more respect !
What’s really interesting to me is that when you shrink the sample there is this sound that sounds like a ghost from a cartoon, which is makes the intro of the song more enjoyable
i dont watch these videos to see how the song was made. i watch them to see how to use FL studio better. I suck at using it. these videos are really helping me make beats.
For those wondering why Shazam picked it up so fast or why Shazam in general nowdays picks up songs in barely a second (i was amazed too), it turns out after a small test Shazam seems to already be listening when it opens the app and before you press the button. Most likely to save time since i assume most people rush to find the name as quick as possible. I discovered this by having Shazam open and playing music and after tapping the button would be almost instant. But when I tapped the button first and then started playing the music afterwards It would take a few seconds. I could be wrong about this tho. But its a neat trick that was really impressive until I figured it out haha
There's definitely a TINY bit of reverb on the sample. The cutoff wasn't sitting right with me but this is still the most perfect remake I've ever seen
For finding the note of the 808, u can just use newtons by right clicking on the sample, showing u the note and then manually change the pitch. It still works even if you haven’t bought newtone. I don’t have it but I just delete when I’m done with it
A way easier way i figure out the 808 notes of a song, including very low quality ones is I pitch it up high or an octave (or higher if needed) and draw in the notes then pitch them down if thats easier, or just draw them in like normal
Please post more than once every moon 🙏 I learn more from these than a lot of regular how to vids cuz I can see what the producers that actually made the popular beats do.
Aiden I'm such a fan. Love how you explain even the smallest details which is very informative. Request for a remake.. Swimming Pools. I'd really love that. Stay blessed ❤ Edit: my bad just found it on your page. Thank you. You are really talented
The brilliance of DJ Mustard lies in the simplicity of his work. Tracks like 'They Not Like Us' showcase his genius by proving that sometimes, less truly is more. His ability to create catchy, memorable beats with straightforward elements is what sets him apart in the industry. S/O Mustard. Dope remake Aiden. Oh yeah... I agree with the comment below, I think that sound in the 808 is a fast 808 roll, BUT the reverse was a good trick.
hey just a quick heads up for 1:51 this is actually illegal to do, so UA-cam MIGHT take this video down because of that part. Has happened to me before, so you might wanna cut that out in the YT Studio editor so you dont have to reupload the video. Hopefully you'll see this.
I make many different variety of music, just got into rap ( friends asked me to make a beat for them, and I enjoyed it, also easier to make compared to the previous styles I was into ) this tutorial is nice, thanks
Bro u GOTTA do family matters, that shit is actually the one track drake did that was Fire. Hope we get to see it, it'd be fun to see what u think of 3 beat switches! Hopefully we get it, amazing remake and keep being awesome!
Bro I really think you should investigate on making remakes of Argentinian Trap, I always wanted to know what where the sounds of "QUAVO- Duki",and I really think it would be INSANE!! 🔥
that shazam 💀💀
shazam has heard it too damn much 🤣
bro didnt even take a second 💀
Damn bruh 😂😂
Frr
It makes me wonder if its because its the most popular song right now
Shazam aint playin games when its K-Dot 💀💀
lmaoo
It was already hearing before he tap 😂
Lolll
west coast beats are so fire cause they’re almost never to complicated but always hit so hard
Fr
No Vaseline is pretty complicated if you ask me
10:00 nahhh even Aiden roasted Drake....
Booo this was the catchiest beat in the whole beef. Although I do really like the end of family matters too
Did he do a drake remake?
🧐It's vulture time, you still a nigga song when you need a few dollars!💯😂
Is it really a diss though, I think it's common knowledge that kendrick is the better rapper, Drake just makes better music
Nah he wasn't dissing drake he was just saying the truth
THEY NOT LIKE US 🗣🗣🗣
🕺🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾
You think the Bay gon' let you disrespect Pac, ninja?
7:00 i think this is a fast 808 roll instead of a reversed 808, or maybe both at the same time
thats what i was thinking aswell
it is it is
That’s what I thought instantly
you are correct!
What i think Mustard did was reverse the 808 took the punch of the 808 and drew in rolls
9:50 aiden tells us whose side he's on
to people trying to tell me the Spinz 808 isnt used in popular tracks
who says that lmao? its one of the most used sounds of all time :')
@challengerprod I said this like a year ago in producers grind on my other small page and it had a crazy amount of likes...BUT a lot of people commented saying it wasn't used 💀🤣🙏🏽
Imagine thinking no popular musicians use the spinz 💀💀💀 that's the second most common 808 tf
chop chop chop chop chop , load the vid up!
Chop,chop,chop,chop Ima remake the beat
why you tryin' like a G, ain't you tired?
We gotta strike a cord you know it's a minoooooooooooooorrrrrrrrr!
they not like us..they not like us..they not like us..
they not like us.. they not like us.... they not like us
2:10 The album the sample is from, Mac Arthur Park, is available in full on the Internet Archive; this is usually the case for recordings too obscure to be available for purchase digitally.
09:57 didn't have to do him dirty like dat 😂😂
I KNEW its the ambient space piano as soon as I heard it lmao
Brohhh I need a deconstruct of Weeknd as you are
Yo aiden actually the open hat doesn't repeat at every 4 bars if you listen closely it's actually 8 bars
But nice job with these remakes they're phenomenal 👌🏻👌🏻
The fact that you explain your process is sooo incredible !!!!!
ADIN ITS MY BIRTHDAY AND YOU DROPPED THIS ❤🔥
Happy Birthday!
Happy bday bro!!!
Happy Birthday! 🎉
It's Kanye's birthday today too
Happy birdday 🍆🍆
Mustard just has his own unique sound man. Him and Honorable C Note are two producers I can always tell when they made the beat tag or not. Also killer remake man!
1:52 bro clear your notifications 😭
5332 😭
💀
Hot damn 💀
💀
this vid made me download FL studio and follow you step by step. That was a lot of fun, thanks for making such great videos man
i dont even listen to this genre of music as much but as a producer and a perfectionist theres something so incredibly satisfying whenever i watch your videos. been following for a while now. keep it up :)
Aiden the remake god, back again with another identical sample!
Imagine if the tempo being 101 was purposeful in taking Drake to school. Would be insane.
lmao
Kendrick song analyzers:
@@namakkv
Crazy thing is that Kendrick is the type of guy to think that deep
@@minecraftsteve2504 I know, but this sounds like something that would happen on accident that Kendrick would just accept 💀
The beat was made by mustard long before beef but its a cool reach
Thats was actually a well made tutorial on how to sample, appreciated
you have no idea how impressive this is to me, great work king
This man came to show us a remake and dropped a whole lot of knowledge like every time !!! This way to find a keys is expeditiously (TI voice)
Bro wtf I only now find out about this new extract function in FL. Wow this is a crazy thing 🤯
That probably wasn't a reverse 808 but a very fast 808 roll, looked like it too in the wave form
This is a dope idea! Here's a comment to boost the algorithm. Edit: YO! thanks for the youtube to mp3 converter tip. Been looking for another one. Nice looking out.
shows that sometimes the most simple beats are the best
Beat making is weird. You can spend hours working on something, only for it to sound just okay. Then you just fuck around with some random sounds and make something dope
@@doc.skillz7166 facts
For the first time in forever, someone introduced me to extract stems from sample on a DAW and it is a game changer.
Bro this video was packed with valuable info. You got a new sub
The ability to extract stems from samples makes remakes sooo much easier for me. So nice to have it.
10:20 bro the shazam fr
Aiden looks terrified 😭😭
This gonna be crazy bro🔥
i actually never knew fl studio had a built in tempo detector that would've saved me so much time on remixes lmao
tbf its not SUPER accurate, what I've always done was just click in the tempo as the song is playing and then fine tuning it by looking at the waveform to see if it matches to the grid
CANT WAIT BRO 🔥
7:16 it’s meant to be a roll but the reverse sounds cooler lol
no its reverse not a roll
@@lxstlxstNo its a Roll. Tried it out for yourself
was thinking this as well
this is the first time i remade a beat before aiden kenway could get to it >:D still love ya aiden good work homie
The reversed 808 was a nice lil touch
so informative.....crazy how one song can change your life both sonically and irl!
Meet The Grahams *NEXT* 🗣️
No no that is too graphic... We call it the forbidden diss
@@itsnevertoolatetodotherigh3271 fr tho ts gonna get age restricted 💀

Aiden can you please release more remakes, I really love your channel, your videos are awesome
the shazam was quick!!!
can you remake family matter by Drake, plz?
This gets even more impressive knowing this was only 1 of 50 or so beats Mustard sent Kendrick. i was more amazed with the extract stems from samples, i never knew you can do that
Dude you're INSANELY good I subbed instantly lmao
Bro this guy is ridiculously talented and knowledgeable. Breaking it down like that is crazy
There's definitely a TINY bit of reverb on the sample. The cutoff wasn't sitting right with me but this is still the most perfect remake I've ever seen

hahaha we need that remake!

Too much data in the video, Aiden u are AMAZIGN, shoutout from Chile !
Bro changed the thumbnail after the music video came out lmao
I was about to say this lol
crazy remake. good work, learned a lot
To find the notes that are playing on the 808, you can also make the 808 extraction track 1 or 2 octaves higher.
Aiden I'm such a fan. Love how you explain even the smallest details which is very informative. Request for a remake.. Swimming Pools. I'd really love that. Stay blessed ❤

Aiden. Please remake the diss tracks between drake and kendrick as a series. Especially family matters
thanks for the remake bro!
bro just unveiled the curtain, thank you so much Aiden
hey just a quick heads up for 1:51 this is actually illegal to do, so UA-cam MIGHT take this video down because of that part. Has happened to me before, so you might wanna cut that out in the YT Studio editor so you dont have to reupload the video. Hopefully you'll see this.
Wave Candy is a good way to find the key of any sample as well. Powerful stock FL plugin 🔥
damn ive been using FL for 5 years and you just taught me hella things in the first 6 minutes
i would love a surround sound by JID remake
Aiden is one of most talented producers I've ever seen yet bro.
I wonder how Havana of Camilla Cabello was made... The piano it's so catchy
The last note hitting at G for the 808 pattern actually does a really fast role instead of reversing
killing it as always!💪
the 808 actually sound to me mpre like a roll than reverse
Hey…. It’s took Mustard 30 mins too 💀
Pro tip for mixing : Always start mixing with levels/pan, youll get biaised to add stuff sometines not needed with loudness difference if you don't.
would love to hear aiden remake she dont by ella mai, scribz and dj mustard. the jazz-like chords feels so fuzzy and clean asf.

well done bro. Nice to actually see someone with a brain who can hear the exact sounds and actually pick them!!! Amazing job bro!!!
Aiden PLEASE remake KING from Vultures the drum beat is insane!!! 🔥
