Really like the style of this painting …birch trees are so pretty in nature
Gorgeous!!!!!
Pretty
I LOVE this!! :D :D
So glad!
Really love this concept. ❤🔥
Hi Lou I am so happy I found your channel. I love this style. It does have a Japanese’s woodblock feel to it. Can you do more like this please? Much appreciation from Australia
Thank you, so glad you like it!
Love this and xan barely painty version. Thx
You're welcome!
Amazing 👏👏😍
This is gorgeous, reminds me of Clarice Cliff. I love it.
Oh I can see that! Thanks!
So lovely and looks like great fun! Thank you for sharing this with us. ♥
I am so sorry! I did not mean to hit the dislike button, I meant to hit the like button. I really enjoyed your video. Your approach to painting trees is very interesting. Thanks!😊
No worries!! Really glad you enjoyed the video. (My understanding is that UA-cam counts dislikes as engagement just the same as likes 👍- so it’s all good!)
Like 👍 and thank you for sharing
Stunning work. You are angel for sharing the entire process :)
You're welcome!
Beautiful! And the colors are so gorgeous!
Thank you!
Interesting style, going to try this as it appears to be a good way to start in landscape watercolour. I think it is wonderful how you painted around the trunk and branches, most would have masked it off.
Thanks, I hope you have fun painting it!
Beautiful watercolour painting here. Really well done.
Thank you so much 😀
You have a great way of teaching, thanks for this video and the colour choosing one too 🤗
Thank you so much, glad you’re enjoying them!
This is my favourite in the series so far, just love it! I might even dare to give it a try. Thank you so much for sharing ❤
You're welcome, hope you enjoy it!
This is particularly nice in your series Lou, thank you ~ Happy Weekend. Jen
Thanks Jen!
Thanks so much for this one, I’ve kinda forgotten how much I love this style and it’s my favourite way to paint- I just love to see how the different pigments react and blend on the paper! Seeing this has given me the inspiration to get my paints out and start painting again-hopefully I’ll be able to drag myself out of the artistic “dry season” I’ve been in!
I really hope you do get painting again, I know those dry seasons well!
Lou, I am new to your channel, and I’ve learned a great deal. Thank you so very much!
You’re very welcome!
So nice! Unique and cheerful.
Thank you! 😊
Lovely ❤️
This is so unique and lovely. May I ask, is the gouache full strength or do you add some water to it?
Thank you. It's got some water from the brush to make it flow a little but not much.
First!
