I love edith and Archie no matter what the 2 loved each other I think that's why the show was the best ever to come to broadcast The team really loved one another off screen ❤❤❤❤👁️👍🏾
I love the running gag of Michael and Archie always getting stuck in the door. Have you every seen a show move from slapstick to downright heartbreak so effortlessly?
Just as a random aside, but the actress playing Edith's friend Irene at the beginning of this scene - Betty Garrett - was one of the first ever people to sing the song "Baby, It's Cold Outside" when it first appeared in the 1949 film Neptune's Daughter.
The episode where Stephie didn't want to go with Archie snd Edith was sooo scary when Archie told Stephie not to open the attic door. Especially Archie's eyes!😮
They was a good cast so much love on screen and off.they could never re-create the show with any other actors it would not work.i loved that show it was so real.❤❤❤❤
He was so arrogant and rough, but he was a softie inside. He never showed his feelings to Eidith. He loved her so much that he couldn't live without her in his life. Sounds like my husband here who i lived with for 46 years. Same thing.
1:29 look at who the nurse was! Katherine MacGregor (Mrs Oleson from little House on the Prairie) she was such a good actress, that she made me hate her character on that show. along with Alison Arngrim who played Nellie

Katherine McGregor of Little House (Mrs. Oleson) is the nurse.
That she is. Recognized her right away even with that hair style. lol
Thank you - you saved me the research! I was saying, "Now who in the heck is that...?" It's Harriet!
Credited as Scottie MacGregor in the closing credits.
Wow 😂😂with her grumpy Mrs Olsen self...never seen her this young😅
@@maryrios5986 lol!

That's the only show I know of that can bring a tear to your eye and a smile on your face at the same time.😅
I’ve said the same thing for years. Superbly written and acted.
Scenes like this proves that, despite how he acts, Archie did had a heart of gold💛
Of course. That’s why AITF lasted for years. Archie was a multifaceted character.
Yes he showed a vulnerable side
@@BarbaraFischbach they all were. They had the depth of real people.
I love Edith's nightgown, beautiful blue color. And I think this is so sweet that Archie truly cares about Edith here.
It’s periwinkle blue ( my favorite color) ❤
@@jryland6 oh nice, I like the color blue too, but sky blue.
"Ohh Edith.." made me cry..😢😢
So cute. ❤❤❤

It's those little everyday things that we all no matter qhat has in common basically.
I am a middle aged African American and I can truly say this is one of my favorite shows!!
Mrs. Olsen as the nurse, never noticed that until now
As much as Archie complaining he really did love his Edith
He loved everyone in the household. Even Mike.
He was Really good in this one!! Showed how much he really Loved 😍 her!!
One of the best shows ever made. Archie is a big softie.
❤❤❤❤❤ Love EDITH

This made me cry
Best TV show for their time and Era 😂❤😂❤❤ kudos old time fan.
They had so much love between them 😢its touching how much they attempted to hide their love
We see how much Archie loves Edith when she was in the hospital.❤
The episode where Stephie didn't want to go with Archie snd Edith was sooo scary when Archie told Stephie not to open the attic door. Especially Archie's eyes!😮

Amen. The world was a better place as a result…👍🙏🏻
Touching scene
Archie go back and shut the door😆
The nurse later played Mrs. Olsen on Little House On The Prairie!
Yes they loved each other ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Classic!!! What great writing!
One Would HOPE THAT ARCHIE WOULD REMEMBER THIS ABOUT HIS WIFE .
❤❤❤❤❤
Archie maybe be a bigot, male chauvinist, hypocritically religious and a crabby crab but here proves Edith means the world to him.
Those are the things the degenerate leftists projected onto the character.
Oh, my gosh, Mrs. Olsen from little house on the prairie.
OMG!!! It is Mrs. Oleson!!
Shocked me too. LOL
Katherine McGregor had one of the best characters on TV! So talented.
Loved edith such a sweet lady
I am not crying it's just the dust in the air...yours very truly Alfonso Cantu USMC
I'm happy she's ok and dosen't have cancer but I'm sorry she broke her ankal‼️😂😂😂😂😂
Mrs Olsen! God Rest Her Soul.❤🙏🏻
Eventually, we all experience this to some degree or another.
Mrs. Olsen from Little House on the Prairie....lol
Best episode
I love how this becomes funny.
Oh wow this wild seeing ms Olsen on here
Hey Mrs. Oleson.
Ha Mrs Olsen
The nurse later became Mrs. Olsen on Little House.
She's so funny
Nice. Those dang onions.....
The old shtick where they get stuck in the door....!
Katherine macgregor as the nurse. :) ❤️
What is actress James Stapleton news she was perfection in this role

Why would you have to put “featuring Jean Stapleton,” given the fact that she was always on All in the Family?
When nurses used to look like nurses. Now they wear baggy prison jumpsuits with Sponge Bob on them lol
Incredibly tone deaf comment
Who cares. As long as they do a good job with their patients.
@@maryshortt3017 seems like almost all professions are like that now they don't care how they look anymore. Yep we hope they still care about their performance!
Who cares? As long as they treat their patients competently and humanely, they can be in full drag for all I care
@@Onecooltop75 yep we hope they still do that.

Mike and Archie remind me of Laurel and Hardy
Archie was an ass a lot of times but he loved Edith more than anything.
I would like to see these without the awful laugh track. So annoying.
It’s a real audience.
Archi is a bully....
It's a show and he was just rough around the edges...
Go hide in a cave
He was a bully he bully edith calling her a ding bat but he loved her and she loved him
He called her a dingbat in a way he would call her sweetheart. There was an episode mentioning that.
He still bully her but Edith stood up to his bullying than Archie would back down and start bullying Edith again
