I remember this episode. I personally relate to Edith's diligence in visiting a doctor. I detected a mass in my right breast in 2020 during the very beginning of the pandemic when I was 31. I scheduled ultrasound, mammogram & breast needle biopsy procedures all in 1 day. All the procedures took quite a few hours. Thankfully, I just have very dense breast tissue & it never required any surgeries. I've had subsequent follow up appointments & I'm still very healthy. 🙏🙏 If you sense something is wrong, visit a doctor just to confirm. ❤
I couldn't disagree more. In the first place, most lumps are benign. With so many MDs wanting to treat people with chemo, that could really be what does the person in. Even getting a biopsy can disturb malignant cells that are cordoned off from the rest of the system. The body is very intelligent and some health practices are backasswards.
I’m glad you followed up right off. I know a lady who didn’t. She delayed due to Covid and being scared. The cancer eventually was visible on her skin and she eventually died.
Edith was so amazing lady and this moment really touched me and reminds us all to get our mammogram and take care of ourselves. Love Frank Lorenzo. And loved Irene.
The most difficult part of these types of medical issues is the waiting. Waiting for an appointment with the doctor, waiting for an appointment for the tests, waiting for the results. It sucks.
It was so obvious how much Mike loved his Mother in law. He really loved her, and called her "Ma", from the very first. His love and deep concern show in his face.🥺😍
I was so nervous about a biopsy for a lump that I put different shoes on each foot. I didn’t even notice until I met my son for lunch afterwards. Was so embarrassed. Luckily lump was benigh.
2:42 The only other time I recall seeing that kitchen "Sliding door" used was when Gloria came back home with Joey after breaking up with Mike . In fact I first saw it in the latter episode first. I never knew it was there otherwise. ua-cam.com/video/mch-I4AAl4s/v-deo.html

Thank God! I pray that you are well

I'm glad yours was just a scare. You inspired me to make an appointment for a mammogram. Thank you.

🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
Mike loved and cared his mother-in-law so much.❤
its because he grew up an orphan so Edith is the closest thing he has to a mother
She stillllll makes me smile😊
In my late 40s, and have cysts in both breasts. Callbacks are just as scary as being diagnosed.
I've seen this one. Everything turns out to be ok. Thank goodness‼️😔😔😔
This is fantasy. It's not real so there's nothing to fear and nothing to be relieved about...😳
Edith was sooo wonderful. Thank Heavens it was only a benign cyst. We all loved and worried about her.😢
R.I.P. Norman Lear......:( A sad day in Hollywood today......
I believe that Edith’s acting saved many lives of women who went to their doctors to check for cancer. God bless you Jean!
what makes you believe that? no women cared about breast cancer until All in the Family came out?🤦🏾♂️
That was back in the day when the "C" was only whispered.

Brasts Cancer Survivors are heroes
Watch the movie "Pink Ribbons, Inc." and you will see how breast cancer was marketed to the public.
