Trinity107 - Steve Steve is a mysterious old clown who, along with his staff, Penny, Tim and Billy, owns and operates a food truck. He possesses extraordinary strength, able to pull out a stove from a wall and engage in a fist fight with an elk. He is capable of teleportation and shape-shifting. This is evident as he imitates Tim and poses as someone else named Tom. He is also seen taking the form of a small child in a blue sailor suit and being able to expand and diminish or vanish from thin air. Occasionally, he forgets or says the names of his employees incorrectly. An example of this is when Penny is called Peggy when Steve was telling her about a juul he smoked. He also might be mentally ill, as he is seen trying to bake coal for his daughters bake sail in a broken stove, which he may or may not have. Not much is known about his past, apart from being in Cats on Broadway. He is also seen taking out food from under his beanie and serving it to customers without any payment being received. It also seems that Steve gets his months confused, as during the month of June he wished a customer a Merry Christmas.

I remember one time a bunch of guys coming in asking if they could eat a quick bite, and I said "yeah sure! Please sit down, have a look at the menu and I'll come right up to take your order". A few minutes later I started taking their orders, which consisted in a large assortment of grilled meats and pasta, and as I was about to leave and give the ticket to the kitchen, one of the asked "how long will our food be here? We have a plane to catch in 20 minutes, so we don't have a lot of time to spare." I was perplexed, and told them that their best bet would be to run like hell and eat at the airport because there was no way they could have a regular restaurant meal AND get to their flight in less than 20 minutes. Still wondering if they miraculously managed to travel that day!

All hail.
He could be a clown from outer space
His powers come from the Van. When in or around it, he’s quite possibly the most powerful being in the universe.

From the same place Pennywise crawled out scept more into just being amusingly confusing and chaotic rather than a murderous monster.
If this were Mage: The Ascension, Steve would be a dead ringer for a Marauder. A mage (who, in that game, are reality warpers by nature) that went insane, and warps their surroundings to match their distorted view of the world. Woe and pity to the normal folk caught in their personal bubble of distorted reality.
Knowing the actual context for the line "Back on Broadway yet again" is so wild, love this series so much
Okay but are we gonna ignore the fact that Steve perfomed on CATS
Along with the heavyside layer reference in the theme song

Says a lot when Penny has to check if they still sell burgers when the trucks slogan is Hot Tires Hot Burgers!
My favorite part is when she says “you know... *despite it all*“
Or when she is wearing burger earrings
Its probably going to be a recurring joke, it kinda connects with the 1st episode

@Malcolm McRorie I wanted like "How To Save A Life" or "Bad Day" mid-2000's angst but thought it'd be a fun challenge to just record an original song that is approximately , 1 Second Long

I was wondering what that was from, the Broadway bit. I blocked out all memory of Cats after watching the movie adaptation, do you know what song it is?

Steve
Steve is a mysterious old clown who, along with his staff, Penny, Tim and Billy, owns and operates a food truck.
This is 100% worthy enough of Adult swim.
Personally, I don’t think adult swim is worthy of this show.
Creator made an ad for adult swim. Halfway in the door already.
13 schmeckles yeah i know but i mean this show specifically. Worthikids is 120% worthy
i just think this show is too good for adult swim.
@StickyFingerz "'FAMILY'??! *DEMONETIZED!*"
Tim Steve is not real, he can't hurt you
Tim Steve: MY NAME IS TOM
now looking back after UP its clear the power of the "juul" was making steve reminisce his old life which must have inadvertently caused him to manifest a representation of his younger self. the clowns seem to be some sort of vibe-based reality manipulator, hence all of steves glitches when he smonk da weeds
“hellooo misses clown, may i have a bowl of sooup”
is something I never thought I needed to hear
Look at the menu at 1:11, they dont even sell soup...but some other interesting stuff xD
The full theme song directly references Cats. This episode references Cats. Over time, the series will gradually become a full production of the musical Cats
That will be infinitely better than the cats movie
