Platex rubber gloves prevent hot water from. Bur ing while washing dishes. They have also worked while processing very cold home raised poultry/chicken. Thank you!
I agree. Variation ways to feed and grade of ingredients is better than kibble. My dog is fed gently cooked/cooked and occasionally blend into meat a nutrient mix. Variety and variation works.
I guess I could help! Love it! I have cats and have thought about introducing raw and homemade food. They do all kibble right now. There is so much information and I agree it’s a lot. Thanks for making it less overwhelming and emphasizing it doesn’t have to be the best of the best and perfect. It’s still better than just kibble.
I do have Dr. Harvey’s Raw Vibrance base mix, but it doesn’t have dehydrated organ meat, which is okay because I picked up chicken liver on clearance, and I’ve got enough purée liver to last six-months! My dog will only eat meat that is in a grind or in purée form.
Hi! Love your content, and you've helped me out a bunch with my dogs allergy problems. Do you have a specific brand of cbd oil for dogs you use? As my dog has separation anxiety and im trying to use a range of things to work as one, but cant find a trusted brand, and thought id ask you as all of the products you list are always trusted and reliable. Thanks! Hope your pups have a beautiful day!
Hi there! Thanks so much for your kind words. We’ve actually just started using CBD by CBD Dog Health. They make different blends for both dogs and cats but their products are third party tested to ensure they’re legit (lot of CBD products have questionable ingredients). Highly recommend trying them out! We’ve only been doing it for a few days so haven’t given it enough time to see results, but we are using it for anxiety with our oldest girl. Hope this helps! ❤️
I feel like the only thing I get lost on is how long you guys freeze meat in advance before consumption or if you have to when it’s straight from the store like that. Is there usually a freezing period?
Hi there, new to following you! I have been interested in raw feeding. I have a 17 year old dachshund and a 1 1/2 mix mutt. Odie our dachshund is the pickiest and we did try raw for him (We feed Raw) but he wouldn't eat it. Right now I am giving the remaining WFR to my younger dog Luna with her kibble. To be honest, I understand the cost of WFR but I cannot afford it. I would be very interested in DIY though. I feel that is more budget friendly yet safe and good to give my dog. Luna has to loose 6 lbs per the vet. It is recommended to feed her 1 Cup food per day. Kibble she is on right now is Bixbi but I am researching to switch brands. How do I balance kibble with raw and how do I weight it out? Would I still need to add something to the raw food like you did here? Thanks a bunch!
Usually, it’s 2 1/2% of their ideal weight. More if they are too thin or extremely active or a puppy, and less if they start to gain weight or are not active.
I used to make their raw food at home and then a raw pet food depot opened up in my town and i get 2lb rolls of raw meat with bone, organs , veggies and and fruit in it for 8 bucks each. It actually ended up being cheaper than what i was doing at home for them. 🤷
All those yellow post-its in perfect spacing on the cupboard door... O' boy! my mind is so NOT ordered like that I don't think I saw the video at all for the full duration. I think I'll just keep taking my dogs out for walks and hoping we/they'll come across some unaware neighborhood cats and letting them off the leash...

Ur supposed to mix the powder with water, then mix with meat. 😂 makes mixing way easier.

Great video! Someone said dark meat chicken is better for dogs. 🤔

@The BK Pets thank you so much! Very much appreciate your response 😊 have a lovely day!
I totally felt that cold in my fingers! I get the same way mixing up meat!
What storage containers are those?

I’ve heard you need to freeze wild caught game and seafood a minimum of 3-weeks before serving. Store bought need not be frozen.

Would raw chicken feet be good for cleaning teeth and gums?
Yes
How do you calculate how many ounces a dog needs to eat daily?
