Dr. Dhand, you are a National Treasure! How lucky we are to have you here in the USA! Even though it has gotten to be so bad, hopefully and prayerfully it can improve with caring and kind doctors such as yourself. And since you are doing a new type of video and asked our opinion, I do like this informal style too. I also love your colorful and pretty Christmas tie, and the fact you like Earl Grey tea! Sending love and warm wishes to you and your family! God bless you!
Dr. Dhand. You were so precious with my brother. He cherished your knowledge and most of all your friendship. Of all the clinicians who treated him, you made the time to reach out to him to see how he was doing physically and mentally after his discharge from hospital. Your communications with me from a distance, I so appreciated and valued as well. I share your site many times a day!! God Bless you to the nth degree.
Doc, lok up Dr David Brownstein iodine vds and also "covid iodine defuser" (for winter health issues including pneumonia). When you are sick it's best to Fast. Wild animals & pets when sick will fast naturally to heal their bodies. Ch for fasting Dr Mindy Pelz (7 types of fasting, what to drink on a fast, refeed after a fast) and Dr Jason Fung (8 types of fasting etc). Both have must read books. Fasting is in every religous tex book. Fasting works wonders to heal the body quickly from sickness.
Im a physician. Agree with Dr. Dhand. Absolutely NEVER allow your loved one to be in the hospital without a family member as an advocate. And I love your tie! 🎄
The last time I was hospitalized was for severe flu. It was probably 2017 maybe and I was in for a week. I got great care. After Covid I don’t want to go anywhere near a hospital.
No one schooled privately goes along as easily. I refuse this bs health"care" why? I was never going along to get along I was taught to speak up if I noticed something interesting..private schools foster free thinkers
@@WillieBrownbentKamalaDown The government controls what is taught in private schools as well. As long as there is memorization going on in school there is no free thought or practicing logic skills. I went to private school, and can tell you it's just as ridden with indoctrination as any other school. Free thinkers are just the minority who can't become brainwashed; they are brought up in both public and private schools and come from all walks of life. Most people, for example, believe everything they were told to believe, like the earth being a spinning ball, which completely goes against the Bible, where God says multiple times that the earth does not move.
Nurses will cause mischiff against Patients with low insurence. they will make noise like banging desk shelves laugh ,talk loud, make fun of patients, blaim patients who can't get out of bed never mind do anything at all.

Don't be fooled that it's a private hospital and that you will get first class care if you have the best private health insurance. You may have the best private health insurance. You might be given priority if you are a favourite celebrity. The private hospitals are not immune to infections, poor quality food , and lax personell.
@jdn42y11 The people and the environment in any hospital will very likely make you go from sick to sicker. Hospitals are part of the sickness industry.
Crime against humanity is understatement for what’s happening in the health industry. I suggest reading Health and Beauty Mastery by Dr. Julian Bannett. It completely changed how I view health advice.
I am in nursing school and it’s getting dumber and dumber. These people aren’t going to be fit to take care of people. They are taught the party line the pharmaceutical companies are pushing! I brought it up to my instructor and she said it’s because of the nursing shortage and I said I think it’s because they do t want us to ask questions! She then recommended I get my masters so I can get a job where I can make changes. She has her masters and she’s not making changes. I’m 54 it’s too late for that. I’m taking care of my body and telling others to do the same
@@saniyavfx Don't expect medical school or nursing school to teach students to be fit and healthy. And don't expect the schools of complementary therapies to. teach better lifestyle choices to the students either. The students can learn that out of class. The two choices are: Either you blindly follow the absurdities of the mainstream, or wake up and take health and wellness into your own hands and encourage who wants to believe in the latter.
They have complained about shortages for 30 years. It's a lie. Hospitals are all for profit, not patients . No one cares and nursing care doesn't exist anymore. Honestly, the nurses are dumber and lazier every year, and so are their instructors.
Dying with dignity too! Urging a terminally ill person to rush to a hospital and get pumped full of chemo before they die so that the hospital can make money off their death is something I saw first hand.
I totally agree. I worked in the world of hospice for 20 years and it is a service that is so misunderstood and not used as soon as it can be. Comfort, care, compassion, and a dignified death is possible (I’m not referring to assisted suicide because hospice does not do this). Fear drives a lot of people to pursue treatments that do not improve their quality of life.
A very close nurse friend of mine told me to never go to the hospital by yourself! Her exact words were is they will kill you. She was a 20 year ICU nurse and completely got out of medicine because of what she witnessed. I would rather die at home.
It's been unsafe for many years. I almost died. Don't trust. My daughter in law got her RN license but left the hospital shortly after she started working there. She walked away from evil.
A year ago I had Covid and went to the ER for fluids and a high fever. I told them I had to go home that my animals were alone and my husband was in Nashville. I was very tachycardic and they wanted to keep me. I convinced them that my Parkinson’s tremor was making it look like I had tachycardia. They didn’t check my pulse manually and find out I was lying. But I got to go home and get well. Surely the ER doctor knew that a tremor wouldn’t cause tachycardia.
Dr.Dhand is always right. I went to the hospital over the weekend since my primary doctors office was closed. I had mild chest pain and very elevated bp. I have kidney issues, RA, heart and clogged arteries.so I got very scared so I went. After ekg, blood work and xrays the nurse gives me 4 baby aspirin and I told her that I have ckd and can't take aspirin. Well they made me take it and a few minutes later my stomach got so bad from the aspirin so they gave me an antiacid. I don't like to take medication but I had no choice but to take it. They kept me overnight and released me because they said that all the test were good ,thank goodness. Next time that happens to me I will not go even though my bp keeps going.up.
As a retired RN with 27 years experience including 10 years in ICU, 10 years in home health visiting, several years in nursing home, and in other areas such as psych. I concur with your close friend! During the 27 years of practice, I experienced and witnessed a rapid, escalating deterioration of the medical profession as Dr. Dhand explains at the end. It was very disheartening for me because, like this good doctor said, I got into it to help people get well, not the opposite. I finally left 20 years ago, and have heard from others that the deterioration has increased and escalated even more since then! I suggest for others to do your own research regarding how to take better care of yourself, like doing things as Dr. Dhand suggests. He is one of the VERY few left and that I respect at this time.
when i was younger, my grandmother who once was a nurse, would never allow me to take her to a hospital when she was ill. I never understood her logic and thought she was exaggerating about how bad it was. now 30 years later im in full agreement.
I regret checking myself into a hospital. It was like prison. I needed food and rest. They wanted to give me antipsychotic meds. I didn’t take the meds afterward and I was fine. What a hell hole it was. Poor people in there made me realize I didn’t belong there. I’m all good now. Eat, sleep, and stick to a schedule and you’ll be healthy.
@ I was having some weird thoughts that just wouldn’t stop. The hospital lied and said that I was a harm to myself and forced me to stay for 3 days. I was fine after the first day. It was a very unhealthy environment
My father passed at 85 and one of the last things he told me was "hospitals are for profit institutions where they house most of the sick people". Such clarity from an old man with degraded cognitive abilities dying of heart failure, kept alive only by his pacemaker in the end.
My daughter just gave birth. The floor she was on had no hot water and the heat wasn’t working right. She had to have a c-section and was in horrible pain. This hospital has a policy where the only blanket allowed in the bassinet was the one they provided. So she had to keep her baby on her to keep her warm. She never did get to shower. She was beyond exhausted when she got home. Thank heavens for her wonderful husband, he had stayed awake for hours to help her. This is a hospital in the US.
@@sl4983You sure can! I just had a consult with my surgeon for a knee replacement and he said, “you will recover fast because you are not overweight, take no medications, exercise and eat healthy, so you will be in and out on that day”. I am 68. If you are none of these, especially being very overweight, you can expect to be in the hospital for a couple of days. Just common sense.
Blessings to you ❤ I'm retired from healthcare & over 65. I hope to be be as functional as my 97 year old mother who is still living at home & driving. No medication.
So extremely true! But if you do end up in a hospital, pray you have a loyal loved one who will monitor every medication, procedure,, diet and activity that is being performed.
I have allergies to certain meds and foods. The reaction to being given either would be fatal. I had to be hospitalized and my husband was with me. I completed my med history, highlighting in bold writing and underlining and placing a star next to the items that would kill me out right. Why did that idiot doctor send a nurse in to inject my IV bag with the very thing that would kill me?!!! I was dozing but hubby was awake. He asked what was she giving me and she explained what it was. He batted it out her hands screaming are you trying to kill her! He asked did anyone bother to READ the allergy section. She picked up the chart and turned white as a sheet. My husband discharged me home that hour and we figured it out ourselves with the help of a friend versed in naturopathic remedies. Thank God for him. I recovered in a couple days.
@@isaiah4216 Unfortunately this seems to be the norm and not the exception. I cannot tell you how many times they have ordered and almost administered medications to my husband that would have caused him terrific harm, in spite of his chart being marked that he was allergic to these medications.
True story: Patient with Blood pressure 90/60. The nurses are berating him for not drinking more water. This has been going on for days. Came to visit and asked what medication he was on, he said he just took what they gave him. Next time the nurse came, he asked what he was being given, one of the pills was an antihypertensive drug. Wow! The nurse was very embarrassed and stopped the drug. The same patient was struggling to walk due to dizziness was told he could not go home as he was 80 and could not walk. As soon as the drug stopped the blood pressure normalised and the dizziness resolved. They still tried to gaslight him about the walking, so he just... walked.

I have been so fortunate to have my husband by my side 24/7 when I've been hospitalized. He questions every medication and treatment provided. I'm in no condition to speak for myself so having an advocate is a huge blessing.
This is true. Im 65 yrs old and if you go into a hospital very sick, they are instructed to let you die. The older you are the more this is true.Avoid hospitals at all cost unless in extreme emergencies and please have a loved one who can advocate on your behalf.
Interesting...when I was a small child many years ago...we had a doctor that actually used to come to our house ("house calls"...imagine that!)...once after he examined me, I clearly remember him mentioning to my mom "When his appetite returns, we'll know he's getting better...".
I'm 71 and had neurosurgery for a tumor in the spinal cord. Surgery went very well, but I had great problems walking again. I saw a physiotherapist 2 times! No more. Luckily friends helped me. Food was terrible. Sometimes I couldn't swallow it. I was discharged after 6 days. I didn't feel great, and a friend suggested that I stay on a few more days, but I wanted to go home. Even on my first day at home I already felt 50% better.
The "best hospitals" in my state are way too deadly to go to. The ER is the gates of hell. Dr Dhand, I appreciate your care for the seniors. I wish I could have had your services for my family rather than the big local hospitals who k'//d them.
My mother was 86 and when she went in the hospital they wouldn't diagnosis the problem. They kept her a few days and sent her home. A couple of weeks went by and she was back in the hospital. It was her gall bladder and they kept going down her throat to break a gall stone. Finally an older doctor came in and said that guy had her out for two hours and I could have removed her gall bladder in 20 minutes. He said he had done the surgery on 90 year old people. They fed her jello for days and she became so weak the doctor couldn't do the surgery. I think they knew what was wrong and they didn't want to spend the money on surgery. Money is their goal and not helping people. Stay out of the hospital unless it's a dire situation.
@enaid54 My heart goes out to you and your mother. Hospitals I'm told by administrators and Drs I've known are not trying to save lives. Their goals are profit. The mantra is "profit center." It's not health care or they would not feed patients jello, Canola oil, glucose and call it " perfect nutrition." When they mal nourish, dehydrate and over medicate patients to death, they make sure the insurance company will pay the hospital a lump sum for the premature end of life bounty. They all make out except the victims of their crimes.
@@enaid54 If you have a cheap insurance plan, they'll kick you out right quick (without a diagnosis)! After a few rounds of hospital treatment, I'm thinking that my Blue Select is a blessing because it blocks their urge to kill me with endless unnecessary tests.

My sweet grandmother died in the hospital. Had hip surgery..was to stay for rehab. Caught pneumonia and ended up in icu. Full cognition but weak. This was in the early 1990's. Still makes me sad.
Excellent advice! I worked inpatient for 30 years and retired when my Dad needed more at care at home. I am proud to say that I mostly kept him out of the hospital for over 4 years before he passed at 97! It took some good nursing care!

I started questioning everything, especially advice from government health organizations after reading Health and Beauty Mastery by Julian Bannett, this book exposes so many shocking truths about the health industry.
In 2020 I escaoped from the "rehab" portion after surgery for broken bones and a concussion. I have a bladder condition and they wouldn't even order an OTC med that gave me some relief. Then they felt they had to reprimand me every time I used the potty chair next to my bed. I understand they were concerned I'd fall, but so was I! Was very careful. I finally just called a friend and left 3 days early. Got better care on my own at home. Was 77 at the time.

You're Not kidding about the terrible conditions in Hospital! I just turned 77 & believe I'm very healthy - however my body is small & I test it to the hilt. Last week scared the heck out of myself when I suffered Heat Stroke mowing the Lawns (Australia) - I refused to go to Hospital - suffered all day - but prayed & took Electrolytes .... took 2 more days to recover, it's tough but I do need to slow down! 😥🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Knowledge is key to keeping you out of hospital and nowadays there’s so much information online. I recently had balance/vertigo issues out of the blue. Staggered around like a drunkard. At 71 falling became a real worry. Research proved it to be BPPV. Did the Epley maneuver and voila, right as rain again. I dread to think of what I would have gone through had I gone to a medical ‘professional’.
Whether it's weight loss or just good health most people want a pill to take or an injection schedule instead of willpower, good decisions and discipline. I know this because I used to be one of those people.
This is true. Even though i currently work in health care, in 2016 and couple years after i was hospitalized and let me tell you, that was one of the WORST treatment and experience in the world. I was diagnosed with mental issues and they just drug you up, give you multiple iinjections, treat you like you aren't even human, unsanitary conditions, it was horrible. I truly feel for those persons who go through similar situations, and i can only imagine what other folks with other conditions goes through. Sigh.
Dear Dr. Suneel, Thank you for putting into words what EVERYONE needs to know about our pathetic medical system. I am 75 years old and a firm believer in using natural remedies to allow my body to heal itself without fighting off toxic medications. I recently fell and hurt my knee and thigh. After a period of time I went to Urgent Care to see if I could get some help with the pain and muscle spasms. The pain cream that I was to apply twice a day listed side effects of stroke, heart attack and fatality. It went into the garbage. The muscle relaxer also was thrown out. Magnesium supplements worked beautifully. Please remind your viewers to always read the literature that comes with meds, or go online to check them out. Ginger root poultices eventually cured the pain. Thank you for your wonderful, common-sense video. Krista Mead
In the UK the situation is really bad. One of the reasons is that, since Blair stopped the requirement for NHS GPs to make home visits, many people have to actually dial 999 and go to A&E instead. This was the case with my poor mum. She was 89, and had many problems, like COPD, CKD, Lyme disease, and in the last six months, heart failure. NOTHING would get her GP to do a home visit, even for my elderly, housebound and very ill mum. So she had to go to A&E five times in the last six months, which were extremely stressful (made worse by the shocking state of our local hospital).
Canada has terrible healthcare or I should say no healthcare for some of us. Lost our family doctor since C 2019. They lost their license. Anyway we are most likely to die without a doctor in our lifetime.
@@RoseWaddell-k6e I'm sorry you are in this situation. It seems to be pattern coordinated across the globalist run countries of the West. I haven't seen a doctor since January 2020. I don't trust them any more and I avoid them. After what my mum went through I'd rather die at home on my own than be in a hospital. I don't have any loved ones that depend on me so I don't have to worry about leaving this world. I totally believe in the survival of consciousness and have no fear of death. I think the globalists have destroyed the West and I don't enjoy being on this planet.
This is confirmation of what my brother and I experienced this past year, every word the Dr. stated is true. Additionally, there is so much more that occurs when you speak up for a loved one the resistance is downright intense, confrontational many a times. When u ask 4 a 2nd opinion that Dr. gets to choose the doctor. They work in teams now and they overall ignore what you state right to refuse certain medical RX or tests you will have to be prepared to stand upon your convictions and hope they don’t mistreat your loved one. Sadly my brother passed away after a year of hospitalizations and came home for about 1 1/2 months. All about $$, RX with horrific conditions as a result. The arrogance is astounding. Visit everyday and as often it’s really a matter of keeping on top of that persons care. The case mgrs are also something to be concerned about. You have rights but they will treat you as if you don’t. You get to choose the nursing home, and if possible fight tooth and nail to bring your loved one home. It’s a matter of Life and death. Just saying.
In Canada, the case worker chooses the home that is available for elderly. And the home may be 3 hrs away from a loved one. And they want them out as fast as possible or they will start charging their fees by the day.
@ wow, just when you think it can’t any worse. Here in California they ant them out once the # of days are gone, and in between the the physician of the nursing home and them out to make more $$ for both the hospital & nursing usually the Dr. works at both.
To the commenter who asked which hospital chains in the US were the best ones, the whole point of this video is to avoid the processed foods diet that leads to ill health. So read food labels and be horrified. Just buy real, single ingredient food. Cook from scratch. DYOR.
I had good care when I was in for a few days with pneumonia. Except for the food. I knew it would be bad, but it was a degree of badness beyond belief. I had pneumonia for 17 days before I went to the hospital and had lost 7 lbs and was weak. My appetite was back and I craved a big juicy hamburger. The food was sugary carbs and wilted lettuce with seed oil. One meal featured chicken! Oh boy! But it smelled funny and tasted so bad I couldn't eat it - there was nothing else to ask for except a second sugary pudding.
I am 87 and I totally care for myself through herbs, exercise and Good food. Sugar is hard to avoid but notice it gives me inflammation. Thank you doctor. Vitamin C in large amounts will not harm. LOVE yourself!
I live in Tokyo, Japan. I recently got hospitalized and it's actually a pleasant experience. The doctor and nurses are incredibly attentive and helpful, and I actually love the food served there.😂
I am not surprised to hear that. I was in japan for 4 weeks just recently. Everyone was very helpful and kind to me so I can imagine hospital would be a good experience. As far as a hospital visit is good😊
Level one trauma centers are typically very good because they have all the tools necessary to save somebody's life. They are always well staffed with Senior attendance like myself and very skilled medical professionals. If you go in for just medicine, it can be a crap shoot. Most hospitals that I see in the United States a very poorly operated because the overlords control everything. I can do a cardiac catheterization within 1/2 hour of entering the hospital and then on the operating table within 15 minutes. People ask me why I'm a trauma surgeon? Go big or go home is my philosophy.
😅I was on holiday in Mass and had a widow maker. People like you saved me. The team I met that day! I stilll and always will think of them as angels. That experience I carry everyday and as traumatic as it was it showed me what care can be and how wonderful people are when focused on the right goals. We need to take shareholder rewards down a few notches and make the world a better place.
Yes, and have you noticed, hospitals are always short of nursing staff, the corporations that run the hospitals in America , run them that way because, if they hire the proper number of nurses, it would cut into their profit margin so, patients pay the price from poor care.
I like your tea format. I appreciate your advice very much. I'm 73 and recently had a self-diagnosed flu (fever, cold symptoms and then diarrhea with some dizziness beforehand). I did continue taking my electrolytes everyday and only some of many supplement. I slept a lot and lost track of time. I recovering nicely and finally the diarrhea has subsided. Good advice! My dear grandmother, who passed away peacefully at home many years ago, said about hospitals, "You go there to die." Happy holidays, Dr Dhand. Your tie was the first thing I noticed tonight.
My mother passed away in September. She was 86, but was not a sickly old lady. She was found lifeless by my sister lying on her recliner. It appears that she was taking Gabapentin, Furosemide and Hydralazine. She was complaining about some upper thigh pain, especially after waking up. Other than that she looked great and felt fine. I personally believe that the drugs she was taking, led to her untimely and early death. I miss her. 😢
I know someone who went to ER a few days ago with a constant cough. They addressed the headache and sent her home. She’s so sick and coughs so much she can’t speak. I told her to boil an onion and drink the broth. Learn your remedies and have them handy.
She needs salt. Salt helps the body to breakdown mucus. There was a study that showed salt miners almost never get respiratory infections. I recommend you pass this info in to your friend and advise her to do her own research into halotherapy. God bless.

Good points doctor. I used to work as a discharge planner for a short time. Patient would ask me why were they wanting to get rid of them so fast. I explained the longer a patient is in the hospital the risk from falls, medication errors, and infection goes up so we want to take care of them and get them home.

I worked in several hospitals over 25 years. If you must be an inpatient, get out asap. Medication mistakes are made, there are seriously bad germs in any hospital. You don’t know if you have a nurse who was 1st or last in her class or worst of all who is unable to make an assessment on the patient and act upon it. Your life hangs on this! I have actually seen patients hang around for the next meal even though discharged. Get out asap.
It must be 30 years ago now that my friend's brother, who is an anaesthetist, told him, "If you ever have to be in hospital get out as quickly as you can because hospitals are among the most germ-ridden places on the planet!"
@hf3739 Absolutely true. My husband had brain surgery and was later released to an inpatient rehab hospital. He got Covid and gave it to me (his wife) along with Type B Flu. Hospitals are dangerous to caregivers as well! And I am a diabetic. I was sick for over a month, and unable to bring him home until I could lift my head. So I worry what will also happen to me when my husband is hospitalized. Nurses are often not washing their hands after each patient, or changing their gloves regularly. So much of the transmission of germs could be avoided, but many staff are too lazy to care. It's truly frightening for all of us. My immune system cannot take being a caregiver in a hospital. So there's that...
OMGosh how I wish you could be my Doctor you are a caring considerate honest compassionate Dr Dhand ,,if only we had more like you in our country .I am seventy years old ,an I am aways stressed as I get older . Thank God I have a son who I call. My greatest blessings, HE is the greatest son ever ,don't know what I would do without him . I'm leaving my Dr as he is not interested in getting me better IMO . Thank you Dr Dhand.
Yes, I like informal chats in your home studio. Love the tie! Your books on the shelves are fabulous. I avoid hospitals like the plague! Germ-laden, even in the best ones. Meds galore!!!! No real food!!!! It's the system. Part of what needs to happen is people need to learn to advocate for themselves, or if they can't, a person who can advocate on their behalf.
Awesome, you have encouraged us all older people to be more vigilant towards our health care, decision making and consent is not only for the providers,we must also be aware,
I’m at 2:30 in of the video and can’t wait to post this reply. I had swollen ankles (heart bypass 7 years ago) so my heart is weak and I went for months of tests maxing out almost to my deductible with no diagnosis from those visits. The swelling caused breathing problems for a year until one Friday I realized if I didn’t solve the problem I was not going to be able to go to work on Monday. Went to the ER and they kept me for 2 days to drain fluid which was me urinating into a bottle whenever I could. Then I took the 3 prescriptions for two months and the swelling was mostly diminished. I researched natural ways to solve the issue and was successful. I have some congested moments but if I continue with my spices, quality non gmo food, supplements and work (which is my exercise) I should be fine. The hospital staff were great, my first RN there was smoking hot with a sweet personality , Katie. Fun times. Me sick, too old, to be considered which I actually didn’t even think about at the time, she was just good at her job and I admired that about her. Sorry for rambling I’m lonely tonight and had to vent a bit! I will still avoid the doctors and especially the hospitals at all times. It’s just not right how we are being played by the whole system. I also want to say the menu for the patients was good to a point. There was a paragraph or two explaining the kitchens (chefs) choices and why. It was all false because it was promoting the goodness of seed oils, canola, palm, soy, sunflower etc..I was shocked and called down to tell them so. Who knows if my words were even considered claiming these statements on their menu were completely false. How can a hospital not know that seed oils are poison? I guess the same ones that don’t know Vaccines are poison.
My Dad 80 years got the flu then ammonia they healed him ready to go home. He freaked out because he thought we were going to put him in a nursing home because hospital recommended rehab. They used Haldal to medically keep him quiet. He never recovered from that nurse had him take a pill with applesauce he was out of it and aspirated sepsis and died. He was driving going out with friends only 2 weeks earlier. I almost feel staying at home would have been better with the flu/.
Even I know you don't give an 80 yr old Haldol when he is ready to go home. They should have called a family member to come and reassure him he was going home.
I am a retired nurse from UK. My definition of nursing care is to do an in depth assessment of needs using a nursing model and supporting any pt with the things they cannot do themselves. I was a community nurse until this discipline was decimated so managers were employed instead of nurses. Pts did not have to go to hospital. I would love to have worked with Dr Dhand. A good care plan goes a long way. Bravo Doc. ❤❤
At 76, I went to hospital with small bowel obstruction. I walked to the ambulance BTW, and don't have dementia. They wouldn't let me out of bed even though I wanted to walk, and wouldn't tell me when I could go home, even after I was pooping and passing gas. My impression is that everybody was afraid to make a decision. Finally I rebelled and got up to go to the bathroom, and then the nurse approved it. That taught me a lesson: a show of aggression works. I will say that everybody was nice. And I can't fault the actual treatment of the condition. Also, maybe I should have got my friends into the hospital to visit, but I didn't think it was necessary. Such a simple though painful issue, and easy to treat.
I was admitted to a hospital after an emergency operation for kidney stones. They did nothing for me except interrupt my sleep to take "vitals." The next morning I realized I was just being ignored and could have rotted there for all they cared. So, I got up, started to get dressed and said loudly, "I'm leaving. Now!!" Well, that got their attention. On the way out, they prescribed a pain medication I said I didn't want and another that I was allergic to.

This is accurate. A hospital is a dangerous place. User beware!
It's not the hospitals that are dangerous, it's the staffs you need to choose carefully. But unfortunately, we don't get to choose.
Don't be fooled that it's a private hospital and that you will get first class care if you have the best private health insurance. You may have the best private health insurance. You might be given priority if you are a favourite celebrity. The private hospitals are not immune to infections, poor quality food , and lax personell.
Going to the doctor is hazardous to your health.
@jdn42y11 The people and the environment in any hospital will very likely make you go from sick to sicker. Hospitals are part of the sickness industry.

I’m taking care of my body and telling others to do the same
It’d intensional to give you minimal knowledge so you will follow corporate driven protocols and not question anything!
If physicians can't make changes, why would she think that a nurse with a master's could? I think she is in denial.
They have complained about shortages for 30 years. It's a lie. Hospitals are all for profit, not patients . No one cares and nursing care doesn't exist anymore. Honestly, the nurses are dumber and lazier every year, and so are their instructors.
There is no developed country on Earth with a worse medical system, than the US.
Dying with dignity too! Urging a terminally ill person to rush to a hospital and get pumped full of chemo before they die so that the hospital can make money off their death is something I saw first hand.
Birth and death are not medical events. They were hijacked by medical lobbies to increase control over your life.
😢
Yet many just go along with it
I totally agree.
Never understood putting a 95 year old on chemo....

They just want to keep you sedated during their shift. Less work.

They still tried to gaslight him about the walking, so he just... walked.

ICU is hell.

I like the "Teatime with Dr. Dhand" format.
Agreed . . .
Would love your Indian spice tea recipe!
Please, thank you.
Me too! Thx!
Oh yes! So would I love your tea recipe!

Please let us have your tea recipe 🙏
I wish you were my PCP.
Love all your videos and have learned so much.
I grew up in post war Germany with a lot of home remedies that were used. We didn't have a lot of food, but it was real food and my Mom was a great cook.
Thank you and enjoy your tea :-)
You're Not kidding about the terrible conditions in Hospital!
I just turned 77 & believe I'm very healthy - however my body is small & I test it to the hilt. Last week scared the heck out of myself when I suffered Heat Stroke mowing the Lawns (Australia) - I refused to go to Hospital - suffered all day - but prayed & took Electrolytes .... took 2 more days to recover, it's tough but I do need to slow down! 😥🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Right now its actually cold.
Ive learned to drink coconut water or gatoraid and water BEFORE i do things outside. Then again when i come inside.
If ourside long drink water in between.
You could talk for an hour or two and I would love every minute!
Yes, this more relaxed approach was just what the doctor ordered . . . !
The fact you have patients in their 90’s shows you’re a benefit to their health and advice you give them.
I’m a nurse for over 40 years. Agree !!
Sigh.
Respect to you for standing up to corruption 💯
Dear Dr. Suneel,
Thank you for putting into words what EVERYONE needs to know about our pathetic medical system.

How awful went through similar with my own mom
It’s a matter of
Life and death.
Vitamin
C in large amounts will not harm.
LOVE yourself!
It does not matter to me where you make your videos. I watch them all. Thank you.
Means a lot to me! Thank you
I live in Tokyo, Japan. I recently got hospitalized and it's actually a pleasant experience. The doctor and nurses are incredibly attentive and helpful, and I actually love the food served there.😂
It's Japan..😂 USSA hospitals are death traps.
I am not surprised to hear that. I was in japan for 4 weeks just recently. Everyone was very helpful and kind to me so I can imagine hospital would be a good experience. As far as a hospital visit is good😊

I pray that people really understand that you are one of the PEOPLE that REALLY CARE. THANK YOU AND MAY GOD BE WITH YOU EVERY STEP OF THE WAY 🙏💙🙏
I like how he tells it like it is - straight out. Obviously not a part of the medical industrial complex.
I was saved by someone like you. 55 year old woman with one cardiac risk factor. I had high ldl. Thank you.
Thank you.
@@wednesdayschild3627 thank you for the kind words.
I feel better listening to you Dr. Dhand.
I wish you were doctor on Long Island.
Good advice! My dear grandmother, who passed away peacefully at home many years ago, said about hospitals, "You go there to die." Happy holidays, Dr Dhand. Your tie was the first thing I noticed tonight.
God bless you and yours. And I think your Christmas tie is very spiffy. Thank you for all you do and happy holidays
Very spiffy indeed! Wear it everyday and spread cheer❤
I miss her. 😢
People in general are getting dumber by the day… it’s no joke. Idiocracy movie is coming to a town near you!!
What do you expect when we're taught and believe the dumbest thing like we live on a spinning ball.
Dr Dhand is like one of those now old fashioned family doctors. Wonderful ❤
God bless.

Thank you, Doctor.
Also please talk about the natural supplements you favor.

I love your content, and look forward to all of it. I am with you. I tell my kids, if I am in the hospital for any reason, get me out of there ASAP. I don't want their drugs, IVs, or food. But you came at this with a more sensible and time-tested reasoning. Thank you for all you do.
I have lost many family members to medical neglect and aggressive over treatment. Doctors have to prescribe or treat as to prevent being sued for neglect, so they go overboard with useless or harmful procedures
I agree. i saw this often with my own family. Yeah over 60-65 you might never come out again.
I try to avoid it like the plague
It’s clear they want us dead.
Good points doctor. I used to work as a discharge planner for a short time. Patient would ask me why were they wanting to get rid of them so fast. I explained the longer a patient is in the hospital the risk from falls, medication errors, and infection goes up so we want to take care of them and get them home.
What do you think of discharge within 24 hours of gallbladder removal? In a person with very complicated health who lives alone. I see people getting surgery and rushed out when they’re uncomfortable going on their own right away.
@@RunninUpThatHillh I am pretty conservative and think many are discharged too soon. I had a friend who had a double total Total knee replacements, OUT PATIENT! I was horrified. AND she had diabetes and autoimmune disease. I think it is dangerous personally. If they live alone, it shouldn't be allowed.
@@Beverly-e4z I thought it was crazy. Another person I kinda know.. severe cough, complications from COVID-19 (they said to her). Gave her headache meds and let her go, my mom went to pick her up from the ER..they wheeled her to the exit and abandoned her as she waited for her ride. They also told her no when she said she wanted an advocate. Always more to a story I guess, but strange huh? I live with my husband, consider myself a pretty ok home herbalist, I’d be terrified to go home early.
@@RunninUpThatHillh I started nursing in 1978. I was trained in a hospital. The staff/hospital had the responsibility for just about everything while patients were under their care including a safe and appropriate DC plan. Patient education that is now almost non existent. We took them and put them in a car. We ascertained they had a caregiver at least in the first 24 hours as indicated by their condition. I've got horror stories about dangerous care galore. Too much to write about here. God Bless you!
@ oh no! That scares me. When I had my children a decade ago the care was great. I keep hearing horror stories and people just keep going back for more. I have pretty bad anxiety about seeing doctors now😢 God Bless you too!
EVERYTHING CHANGED MEDICALLY SINCE COVID...
Hmmm, you got to be kidding
I love listening too you and all the great information you give is so much appreciated. I have learnt so much from you an an how to advocate for myself ,and my son takes me to every appt and go in to the Dr room with me to ask question as ,he work s in a medical Hospital . I'm leaving my Dr as he is not interested in getting me better IMO . Thank you Dr Dhand.
I liked your tie before you even mentioned it. Yes, please, to more "talks over tea" videos. I'm interested in any content you wish to share with us!
Thank you for watching and appreciate you sharing this!
I use butter to fry anything in a pan. When cleaning the pan it takes me literally 1 min for it to come off
I sure wish I had a doctor like you. The world would be healthier.
Thank you so much for being a good doctor and caring for your fellow person. I don’t have a doctor but sometimes I need one😢
Sorry to hear that, and I would agree, these places do more harm than good.
I’m so sorry you suffered greatly from their lack of ignorance.
Even I know you don't give an 80 yr old Haldol when he is ready to go home. They should have called a family member to come and reassure him he was going home.
@@luannestrickland4199
Think you mean lack of knowledge.
😢
I am a retired nurse from UK.
My definition of nursing care is to do an in depth assessment of needs using a nursing model and supporting any pt with the things they cannot do themselves. I was a community nurse until this discipline was decimated so managers were employed instead of nurses. Pts did not have to go to hospital.
I would love to have worked with Dr Dhand. A good care plan goes a long way. Bravo Doc. ❤❤
I love this format!!
Yes, it's good, isn't it . . .
Your patients are blessed to have you as their Primary Doctor!
It's a pleasure to watch your video and realise that there are still doctors who care about their patients of ANY age. !!!!!❤
