Sorry for the re-upload - had a rare problem with the video going completely blank due to copyright infringement from the hero 8 teaser track. Hope it's worthy of a re-upload. JR
You have seriously helped me better achieve the ideas I have in my head and make them come to life! Thanks so much for the no bs easy to follow lessons and tips!
Just got the new iPad Pro and using luma fusion, the speed of transfer and rendering is amazing!!!!! + upload 4K in nearly real time😳 love your vlogs/tutorials and content Jake👏🏼🙏🏻
The information you provide is very useful to a GoPro “newbie” like me. I am also excited to see what accessories you use and how to use them. So don’t forget that we are not all pros! Thanks!
Great video! Just one question, it is better to record with slow motion with a cam directly or edit later in "postproduction" and make slow motion sequences? GoPro 11
How do you get no pixelation with your footage for 480? I need my 480p to look good because that's youtubes default and a lot watch on that. My 720p+ looks good on UA-cam, but not 480p. It just looks very pixelated. I see that yours isn't pixelated much at all and looks really good. What do you do for this? I have set the bitrate to high and also film in 2.7k and still doesn't look as good. Any ideas? Thank you
Thank you so much for this. I'm just starting out so my videos have no real flow. This was super helpful and I can't wait to get back out and try some of your tips!
Are you able to do cinematic clips with a GoPro Max? I’m very new to this, I’m inspired but I need help. I just bought my first GoPro MAX so I need guidance please...
Hi I bought a new GoPro Hero 8 black and I don’t feel that’s the videos resolution like how I see I UA-cam so can’t you tell some tips to make my cam better and to make a better video like I what I watch always in UA-cam... Thx...
What’s the best software to edit of tablet. I have iPad Air first gen so can’t even get iMovie 😔. Could buy a Mac but really don’t want to fork out loads on $$
Hey Jake, I love your videos and it helps so many vlogging folks to explore more improve and create quality content. Please create a video on GoPro Hero 8 black and give us the info about is its worth upgrading for current hero 7 owners and recommendations for first time buyers?
Can epidemic sound be used on all platforms? So if have UA-cam video it could be used for Instagram, tiktok , Facebook etc as well? Will have my GoPro after Christmas and have to get used to the settings ☺️
Bro quick question so if you shoot everything in 60fps you’re essentially slowing 40% to get to 24fps? So if you want non slow mo footage you have to shoot in 24fps because that’s the timeline you have chosen? Or can you just shoot everything in 60fps and keep some normal and some as slow mo? Would that look weird ?
Shoot in 60 doesn’t make everything slomo it just allows you to slow things down - if you shoot in 24 and export on a 24fps timeline you can’t slow down anything hence why shoot in 60 and if you want, choose to slow it down 50%, on a 24 fps timeline, even if 60 is played back at 24 it still looks 24, hope that clears it up
Jake Rich ahh okay thanks! That makes more sense. I wasn’t sure how 60fps would look on 24fps timeline. I know if it’s slowed down it looks clean for slow motion but sometimes I would like normal speed and slow mo, so thanks for clarifying. Keep up the great videos! I’m checking out all your other ones, definitely earned my sub. Cheers!
It’s personally the only software I use - you could try Davinci Resolve it’s free & people have said great things about it but if you’re new to editing - & looking at creating long term - look into adobe as they have many great tools for creators - photoshop / after effects / rush / Lightroom
I like the way you explain the whole stuff...I just bought GoPro 8 and need to learn more... Which video editing software do you use? Or is it free or paid version?
You are welcome to Poland. I hope you enjoy it. If you are going to visit Poland, let me know. I'm just starting the adventure with gopro. I buy accessories. Dome, filters and pole. Mounting on the chest and head. Everything will be useful and thanks to your advice I will be able to record something good. Thanks and take care.
Dude, nice video. But it would be nice if you could cover coversion of 4k clips , cause Premiere Pro does not work with HEVC files straight from GoPro. Cheers.
depends on what computer you're running - i'm on a macbook pro 2017 model and it's fine - my playback is at 1/4 res and i don't seem to have any problems with 4K 60 (it's not super fast but it's not slow enough to bother me when I'm editing)

All your videos are amazing man
Very Helpful tips to someone new to using a GoPro like myself. Thank You.
Great to hear mate
I love the new name of the Channel 😊
Great video! Just one question, it is better to record with slow motion with a cam directly or edit later in "postproduction" and make slow motion sequences? GoPro 11
To edit slow motion, you must record in high FPS, 50 or 60 FPS minimum to capture something smooth
@@JakeRichandAnnaChah Thank you! 🙌

Or is the 7 white only good enough for beginning amature vids?

Hey JR 👋 Are you using Protune settings on GoPro ? If yes, are you using GoPro or Flat colors ?
Your videos have been so great, they have helped me so much to make better videos.
Hi dude i have a query.
Is there any reason why you didn't make use of slow-mo feature in go pro and then later on adjusted the speed in premier pro.
I love it😍❤️❤️👏

If I shot in 2.7K, what should my resolution be to get 2:1 aspect ratio? Will 3840x1920 you used make my footage look stretched?
