Hey everybody 🎉 This video is from a few weeks ago. I filmed it and never uploaded it. Trying to get caught up on uploads. I go on vacation in another week. So I’ll get caught up then.
Don’t be nervous. It’s very helpful. I pay all my bills coming out of my debt card. Then things like gas, grocery, laundry, household and personal i take out cash. This helps me not to over spend.
That is really good. I have retirement at my job. It’s mandatory at 9%. I’m not able to put more in yet but when my daughter turns 18 it’s on. I will add a 403b then. She will be able to work then so l’ll have more money going towards retirement.
Man I wish you guys were closer....Teenagers don't babysit around here anymore lol. She would make some good money off of me for sure lol. Keep up the good work. You are so inspiring.
Thank you! It’s hard in this economy but I’m staying on the budget to be able to survive with my low income. If I can do it with my such income. People with higher ones definitely should be able to maintain as well.
I paid credit card number 1 off. Then I take that minimum payment I would have paid on credit card one and apply it to credit card number 2 with the minimum I would pay credit card number 2. So for instant I paid credit card number 2 their minimal payment of $34.00 and then I paid them $35.00 as well because that’s the minimal from credit card number one that’s already paid for. So that’s snowballing my payment merhod.
@@DiaryofaSingleMom-ov7xf okay, I gotcha now, thank you for explaining. I’ve heard you mention that before and meant to ask sooner what it meant. You are doing awesome, and I love watching your content 😊
I’m not able to do that currently because I’m over my budget every month. Not enough income to pay my bills. I’m currently working 45 to 52 hours a week on my current job.
@@DiaryofaSingleMom-ov7xf I don’t have either I was working 2 full time jobs to pay my sons college but I recently quit one ( I was there for 30 years) I realized how toxic the environment was and when I chose not to be part of it anymore people turned on me. My newer job feels like a vacation so I think I can try again for another almost full time job. My husband works 7 days also but he has back problems so I need to get ahead and we don’t have little kids only my beautiful giant dogs. I guess I could use the same method to get ahead. Thank you so much

I wanted to try this for the longest! I'm glad I saw this video because I was nervous about starting my journey. This time I'm going to do it!

So glad to see you staying on track.

I invest 10% of my paycheck in a 401(k) for retirement and I'm trying to max out my employer match for my 401(k).

You’ve mentioned snowballing debt before, I don’t know to much about Dave Ramsay , but could you explain what that means a bit more ?

What do you think on trying to stuff envelopes for next year .. I’m planing taking an extra job to do that etcccc
I’m not able to do that currently because I’m over my budget every month. Not enough income to pay my bills. I’m currently working 45 to 52 hours a week on my current job.
That is a good idea for those that have the income to do so. It’s better to get ahead
