My husband and son always ask me why do I listen to BTS all day, every day. I went from listening to heavy metal to BTS. It's sad that they don't get it. I just tell them that I have never met another group that has ever made me feel this way. They are so positive and true to themselves. They are so humble as well. Their lyrics speak to people. It touches hearts. I have never seen and artist or artists that loves and respects their fans like these guys. They are truly the most beautiful artists I have ever seen. Not just on the outside, but on the inside as well. I just absolutely love them.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭a friend asked, what's so special about them. i said, you never see people at their level of success/stature just so extremely down to earth. most celebs act like the world should be grateful that they exist at the white house, jk said words like " we are still surprised that music created by south korean artists has reached so many and crossed language and cultural barriers" 😭😭😭😭😭😭
U hv sum up my thought 200%...the only regret I have was not finding them sooner than 2018 when I fell into this rabbit hole. But as they say.. BTS finds you when you needed them the most! No words can tell how much I love them all 💜💜💜 #borahae #proudArmy
nods. My family does not get it either. it's been 3 years too. I tell them they make me happy. They are my light in this stressful life journey. i need them. Hugs Army.
Life Goes On was part of the BE album, which was made about their emotions during the pandemic. So it’s a great message. Even though the world stopped or “paused” they tell us not to worry, the light will shine again and life goes on. Thank you Jungkook! He actually directed the life goes on mv, and did an amazing job! He has his own videos that he films and edits them under “Golden Closet Films” if you wanna check out more of his work. He’s amazing! (In the mv when it turns black and white towards the end, the lights in the back standing are actually army bombs! They were meant to resemble army. This song live just has a different feel. When I saw it live, I cried. BTS was singing such a deep song while running around on stage taking these cute selfies and singing their hearts out. It was such a beautiful sight to see all the army bombs around us purple and to hear that song. I’ll truly never forget it 💜 P.S: Jhope’s album came out today armies! Let’s support him, ok? Fighting!
I also heard, but I am not sure that the reason why it centered around Jin a lot, was because this was to be his last song done with the group before his enlistment. But then the popularity of the songs Dynamite, Butter and Permission to Dance pushed back his enlistment to the military.
Fun fact(s)…they had originally wanted a female to do the background vocals but there wasn’t enough time due to the pandemic. This song had the most edits…Jimin said everyone had their parts done but he had to record over and over because it was a struggle for him to go higher with his voice. Jin said he’d struggled to do the lower notes. Either way, it’s such a great song that Army voted for it to be on the Proof album! 💜
@@JohnReavesLive it’s my favorite song…almost ever. And I’m a 53 year old mom that if stranded on an island, I would have just wanted The Eagles music…but instead, not only did I fall down the rabbit hole because of my daughters I also got “life goes on” as a tattoo!! 🤣🥴🤭🤣
Imagine waking up to this song in the middle of the pandemic and it's your birthday.... Best birthday gift I've ever gotten! The entire BE album is amazing tbh. They really captured the thoughts, feelings and ponderings a lot of people had during this downtime.
@@JohnReavesLive I just wanna add that thee best no-audience performance of LGO is hands down their MAMA 2020 show. So elaborately and meaningfully done and they even paid thousands to have a hologram of Suga performing with them! (And no, I'm NOT sorry, Meg! 😜)
Can you imagine my EXCITEMENT last November when I was gifted a ticket to BTS' Los Angeles PTD day 2 concert!!!!!! The Energy and Love at the SoFi stadium was unreal!!! My grandchildren introduced me to BTS last summer, and now this 68 year old is ARMY for life!!
This song still hits hard 2 years after release. Now that we know BTS was thinking of going on hiatus after “MOTS7”, but the pandemic hit, and they poured their soul into one more studio album “BE”, I just know that they are going through a much harder time that what they showed us. “BE” is truly a love letter to music and their fans. You are definitely an ARMY now for appreciating all the little things the boys want to convey!
They were nominated in ‘Best Duo/Group’ and the Grammy went to Lady Gaga and Ariane Grande (I think🤷♀️) Rain On Me. What I found most annoying is that most nominations weren’t even duos or groups- they were collabs and features. I genuinely believe collabs should have their own category (although it seems like most collabs now are very cynical, and a huge proportion of the ‘biggest’ music is collabs)
That’s so random they lost to those two! But if we’re being honest I guess that’s what money will do right?! Buy a Grammy! I’ve never even heard that song. I’m going Kanye!
You're full ARMY now. Thanks for not hiding the tears and the one extra live. This song and the boys were the only thing that got me through being stuck at home during the pandemic. Love it.
Me too! I loved Dynamite, but really fell in love with them with Life Goes In. They really cheered me up when I was teaching 4th grade online from home.
It's one of my all time favorite songs, just stay positive, everything happens for a reason, life will go on and continue and you'll be stronger every experience you have be it good or bad 💜
Jimins voice wrecked me the whole pandemic its so beautiful. LGO is a beautiful song and Im glad that it comforted those who needed it and they all sound amazing
Aww John.. you had me crying right along with you. 💜 You NEVER need to apologize... I'm sure I speak for most of us when I tell you... we would stay here and do this for hours with you. Thank you and Meg both for including that interview..idk how but I'd never seen it before! This song means so much to me and was one of the very first songs that I was able to actually sing along with the Korean lyrics! 😊
Rhonda thank you so much! And for real this is the first and only song that’s ever made me cry, just tears of joy for them taking this journey and then finally being able to play this song live, really beautiful moment
@@JohnReavesLive thank you for insisting on finding a live performance with an audience. The interaction they have with Army when they’re on stage is so heartwarming. I became Army after watching their New Year’s Eve Times Square performance. When the pandemic started I thought I’d never get to see them live in person. Luckily I was able to go to nights 3&4 of the PTD on stage in LA Dec 2021. I was in tears before the concert even started just from the overwhelming joy I felt amongst the crowd. When everyone in the stadium was signing along to Life Goes On, omg I couldn’t control my tears of sadness because they had to wait so freakin long to hear Army irl again and also tears of joy that the finally could, & I was a part of it. I can’t wait for you to be able to watch a full concert video (with audience of course) & share your reaction on Patreon if able. You don’t ugly cry fyi. I was crying along with you & FOR you. 보라해 💜💜💜💜
I was lucky enough to go to one of the LA shows and see this performance on the big bed. I remember when they announced the shows I was like, “am I crazy for considering buying tickets to a show I have to travel cross country for, and attend amidst 50k other people, when we’re still in a pandemic?” But it felt like one of those opportunities I didn’t want to take for granted, assuming I’d have another chance later on, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. We’re so lucky because not only does BTS give us wonderful music and 7 amazing people to admire and be inspired by, but they’ve also cultivated a beautiful purple ARMY to be a part of. I’m not sure I would fully understand how amazing it is to part of ARMY if I hadn’t been to that show. 보라해! 💜
I can't wait to go to a live show one day! that is on my list for sure! but for now I'll settle with meeting all the amazing ARMY that I can :) I love this rabbit hole!
Same. Was I really going to fly across the country by myself and attend a concert in a huge stadium by myself? So crazy. I was lucky enough to see them twice in LA, turned right around 4 months later and caught the last show in Vegas. Honestly, I would go tomorrow if it was an option. The atmosphere at those shows is electric, I’ve never experienced anything like it. It is the Magic Shop.
Ditto, ditto, ditto - my husband thought I was crazy to get tickets for a show halfway across the country - but he ended up having such an amazing experience with BTS and ARMY, he encouraged me to get tickets for PTD in Vegas so we could do it all again.
26:55 SUGA's part and he wasn't there so they all joined in ^^ *SUGA was missing because he had shoulder surgery for an injury (pre-debut days he got hit by- and ended up under a car when he was out on his delivery job on a bike, he almost ended up under the wheel of the car) that had gotten too bad through the years so he had it fixed but thats why he is missing for some months during this time I think it's for things recorded nov 2020 to jan 2021 that he wasn't present. When he started coming back you could still see him not fully joining in in some performances etc. And of course some things are pre-recorded (because of covid couldn't travel) so some things might have him in it after nov 2020 like the live perf for GMA you watched and some things that come out after he was back in early 2021 he might be missing but now you now know why. ah I loved that you did a live with audience too!!! And crying isn't sad in a bad way. Feelings are beautiful. Thank you!
There were so many things that I wanted to say during the video but dang it, I got emotional at the end and forgot it all! I’m enjoying your BTS journey. Life Goes On has a special place in every ARMY heart. Every time I hear it, it sparks different memories. What a difficult time it was for all of us, but I love how the members share their hearts with us, and they connect us all. It makes life feel a little less lonely sometimes.
For real thank you for sharing this with me! I agree when I heard this song it instantly made me feel all those emotions I had worried that id never go to a concert again or travel or see my distant family. that was the oddest time in my life and I think we as a whole civilisation can say we felt that on some level, its crazy to me to think that happened to the entire world. this song would have been such a comfort to hear during that time
@@JohnReavesLive I so appreciate how well you “get” BTS and the members individually as well. Have you listened to any of the songs from RM’s album. He is brilliant. It’s amazing how talented they each are individually and they are all so different from each other so far. J-Hope’s LaLaPalooza performance and his album, then V’s sweet lyrics and voice and now RM’s poetry in his sons. Wow!
That is exactly why they connect with us so deeply. They share themselves with us so intimately in some ways. They are always wanting to do much for ARMY and us them. You can’t fake that level of love and sincerity.
They so deserve a Grammy!! But they deserve EVERYTHING!!! They have helped so many people including myself and still get mistreated!! They love us ARMY so much and care so much for us and it breaks my heart when they don’t get all they deserve!! Thank you so much for loving BTS so much. Welcome to ARMY!! 💜🫰🏻
@@JohnReavesLive Film Out was written & composed by Jungkook. You will find the songs composed or written by JK are outstanding for all the vocal line & always have a ton of harmonies. It’s like he considers all the members voices when he writes them.
They showed us the whole BE album process they also do something called "comeback livestream" basically talking about the making process of albums. Also namjoon is one of the main songwriters so he usually goes live and tells all the details and behind stories of making the songs
THIS HAS BEEN MY FAVOURITE REACTION YET. SIMPLY MAGICAL VOICES. HOW MUCH YOU APPRECIATE BTS WARMS MY HEART. I CRIED AN OCEAN WHEN YOU ADDED THE EXTRA LIVE VERSION. THANKYOU 4 THAT. BEAUTIFUL. BTS HELPED ME BE ALONE AND GO ON AFTER MY PARTNER OF 34YRS DIED JUST BEFORE THE LOCKDOWNS HAPPENED. I WAS A FAN ALREADY BUT I TRULY FEEL LIKE THEY SAVED ME AND HELPED ME FIND JOY AND LIGHT AGAIN. UK
Dear Susan, wow that must have been beyond hard to endure. This is the first time I’ve replied to comments. I just have to extend a warm hug across the aether s/airways to you. Yes, it is years since and yet I trust this ‘hug’ reaches you to your depths and helps to strengthen even more. Thank you for letting yourself experience joy and feel the BTS Feels. Have an excellent day and all the days forward. Jules 💜#APOBANGPO #Borahae #Bangtan #BTSARMY 💜
This is part of BE album that some army's likes to forget that exists and say BTS is "not producing korean album anymore" and "they're focused on english album" after butter was released. This masterpiece made me continue living amidst the hardships i experienced during pandemic. Thank you for the reaction as always 💜
I love Life Goes On and it will always have a very special place in my heart since it was my first comeback with BTS. The song is just so beautiful and is definitely one of my comfort songs and sometimes it even manages to make me cry. I am glad I saw this live at SoFi. 💜💜
@@JohnReavesLive I really do hope you get to go to one of their concerts. I heard that they are doing a concert for an event called 2030 at Busan South Korea. I enjoy your reactions and I hope you continue to enjoy your journey of the BTS rabbit hole💜💜💜
I was at that concert Day 3 in LA and it was probably the best thing I have witnessed in person especially coming out of Quarantine for almost 2 years. BTS kept us going through their music and love.
Thank you so much. I love this song. I was there for 2 days PTD LA concert last November. It was amazing and once in a lifetime experience. It was their first concert since the pandemic started. It became the first Korean song to get number 1 in Billboard Hot 100.. It is the title track of their album BE which was all written and produced by the members including project management which was done by Jimin. He was the AR. Jimin did the female section of the song. The MV was filmed by Jungkook.
I discovered BTS on February on this year only but it was when I was most beaten down by the pandemic, it was just one thing on top of another and I had nothing to lift me up. Their music literally gave me strength to pull through and come back up again. After postponing it for so long, yesterday I started learning piano which I had meant to do for a long long time but pushed it off with excuses. They showed me that there is no time like today to do what you want to do, that it's ok to follow your dreams no matter your age or situation, that's ok and normal to feel down some times but that there a million beautiful things to be grateful and happy about, they really changed my outlook on life.
You mentioned why the western didn’t play this song is a good question? This song got 6 spins on radio this was clearly a song the world needed to hear to bring comfort and hope. I just had conversation with my granddaughters and they voiced how industries in music now push sexual songs or materialistic because that what the general public wants to hear.
This ARMY community / family is the best right? So much love, support, inspiration and emotions. It is true, BTS is changing the world, making it a better place.. Thank you John for these soulful reactions 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
"I'm sorry Meg!" 💜 So glad you played a live audience version. I had only just started getting into BTS a few months before they released this song. I was SO touched that they wrote a song about the current hardships the world was going through and their hopes for the future. It cemented in my mind that this was The Group to be a fan of. 💜
This song is the title song of "BE album. Their "BE" album was created all from the members and in charge of every part from concepts, scheduling, writing, even the album jacket, to the end (with a little help) during the pandemic because their concerts were canceled. With this particular mv, JK directed and shoot the majority portion. By the way Doja with the song, Kiss Me More, won instead of BTS at the Grammys.
There BE album was produced by them. They decided on the type of songs they would write then made the music and lyrics. Then they came together working together on all the music. PDogg and Bang Shi Hyuk helped them with a bit of the writing and engineering but Suga did the majority. RM and Jimin especially had a hard time during the pandemic. RM did mostly likely because he was the leader and they had to cancel so many concerts in Seoul then worldwide for RM even though the company handled the logistics he felt very responsible to all the ticket holders. Jimin on the other hand was very sad because he thrives of the exchange of joy they give and get at concerts. So all the music on the BE album are so beautiful about the relationship of everyone during the hardships of the pandemic but also of the connection of those loved ones you spent so much time with during the pandemic.
I was crying with you as well. This song means a lot to me especially during the pandemic. I'm so happy you found the live performance from their concert in LA and decided to include it at the end. We can see how happy our boys were to perform in front of live audience. You asked why the song wasn't played on the radio and that's the question we have been asking all these years. We believe BTS' music is healing and can change lives but sadly a lot of people don't get to hear it.
I remember I had hard times when this song with Be album were released, but instead of feeling bad or remembering any detail of that bad time all I remember is riding a bus or a taxi during rain (it was autumn) with a warm hopeful feeling inside thanks to this song
i got to see this live last december in LA and believe it or not it's even more beautiful in person!! i live in alabama but that didn't stop me from driving 32 hours to LA to see my best friends, my favorite people in the world and i would do it over and over again. i almost didn't get to go and knowing what we all know now i would've regretted it forever 😓
I really can't wait to see a concert of theirs one day! that is my biggest goal at the moment! and no joke!! ALABAMA!!! I was born and raised for a bit in Mobile! tons of family still live there and im in Nashville now but still... ROLL TIDE!
@@JohnReavesLive i really hope you get to go, there's nothing quite like it!! and i was actually born and raised in fort campbell, TN not too far from nashville !! i'm a student at auburn so... WAR EAGLE 🤪
Dear John, never apologize for crying when the emotion is so big that our heart has not enough space to bear it... to me, it's the most beautiful thing I can see, because it means you feel comfortable with us to share your emotions... and this is a gift... You know? I've never thought about the extent of an artist's emotion being on a stage in front of their fans... your tears made me realize how important it is, thanks! Keep being yourself, and... as my mother used to say: "nothing is so bad that can't bring us something good". Borahae! 💜💜💜
John.. honestly what a beautiful, sincere n heartwarming reaction 💜 It's so endearing to watch people be so moved by music. Also, i wish through some miracle BTS watches your reaction to this song. RM specifically mentioned in the Festa Dinner that he had worked extremely hard for this song n it's very dear to him, but somewhere because it was released in between two mega pop chartbusters like Dynamite n Butter, LGO didn't receive as much limelight as they had expected it to. So to watch you fall in love with the song a little bit more every time you heard it , to the point of being moved to tears is so special. I wish you the best for every endeavour of yours. You are doing great💜
You really need to see the version they did for James Corden with both this song and Dynamite. That was a very creative way of how they did the set designs and their performances.
Awww…. This song is in my top 5 fave song. My husband is not even into BTS songs completely but this is favorite song of BTS funny enough… it’s a beautiful song and touch your heart 💜
So true, when the restrictions during the pandemic eased up in our city, I started hanging out with friends again. And now I've been going places even by myself to enjoy and appreciate the beauty of the world around me. Also started doing things I always wanted to try but was too busy with my life to do so. The pandemic has made me reflect on myself a lot and really brought me to a dark place. This song really gave me so much comfort , I cried heavily when I first heard it.
Life goes on was the first MV that got my attention, it's beautiful, the song is perfect .. I understand you a lot about the feelings this song brings.
@JohnReaves You’re not alone. I ugly cry every time I hear this song. I only discovered BTS late last summer when I saw the UA-cam of them on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden and then saw the performance of Life Goes On and Dynamite on his show that was filmed before Christmas 2020. They filmed several performances in Korea before Suga had his shoulder surgery. The whole pandemic has changed so much and when it seems it’s over, it’s not quite over. I’ve had such a tough year, shattering my elbow and wrist in late January, that it seems like things will never get better. This is a beautiful reaction and I’m a mess of tears just watching it. Anyone who says that they can’t or don’t sing live needs to watch that interview. They’re amazing and I wish I had crawled out from under the boulder I’ve been living under and discovered their music so many years ago. They say you don’t find BTS, they find you when you need them most and I’m so grateful I finally have. This past year has been a train wreck that just got worse with losing a childhood friend to cancer, a breakup and then my accident. I’ve spent many long nights trying to discover and understand their music and messages and it’s the only thing that’s gotten me through. I just love your reactions and your honest, enthusiastic outlook. You make me smile every time. I’ve been to Tennessee many years ago. It’s a great place with wonderful people. 💜🙏🇨🇦
Cheryl for real thank you so much for saying so! I am so sorry to hear about the year you've been having and I hope your wrist and elbow have healed up since then! There are so many great messages in the lyrics in just the few songs ive heard since starting my journey that I feel like if we all take them to heart we'll be better not only to ourselves but to others as well. Hope you have a blessed weekend!!
John, this was an emotional reaction! 🥺😭 Everyone really had their own story of depressions or hardships during the pandemic and how one has survived. And this is the perfect song to represent that. See how we always come to resonate with BTS' lyrics. And please don't apologize. This is what you call a genuine reaction. You didn't need to hold back your emotions and thoughts - I know it is difficult to put out everything though. But this is what made people love you - the truth behind your reactions. There's no need to watch out for what's proper, or what we might want to see, doesn't matter how many times you say "like" or whatnots, it's who you are. And we love seeing that. So thank you for this reaction. Excited to see more to your journey! Borahae 💜
J-Lee thank you so much for this! It really is hard to just let it out sometimes but I always will be genuine and maybe it was just that today has been a rough one and this song is what I needed to hear, but I didn’t want to edit it out, and I felt like if someone was going in a journey with me, this was part of it you know! Hope you have an amazing day!
@@JohnReavesLive It's true, and it's amazing that you can also be a means/instrument of other people to feel better, discover themselves and go thru difficult things because of your reaction videos! You are a blessing to everyone, John. Please always remember that! 💜💜💜
I have really enjoyed watching you go through your BTS discovery journey. I don’t comment a lot but wanted to on this one. I can really feel your sincerity in your reactions and I am so glad thet BTS found you when you needed them. Please keep spreading your positivity and I will do my best to do the same. #APOBANGPO #Borahae #Bangtan #BTSARMY
Yes this song’s main message is about moving on from the pandemic and YES this song is already pretty emotional, BUT knowing that they were meant to go on a break after MOTS7 HAS MADE THIS SONG HIT EVEN HARDER OMDS
They deserve an award not only from Grammy but all of the music award giving bodies ....no one deserves more than BTS ....they are not just an artists...singers...or kpop band but they are true and sincere persons .....I love BTS and missing them all esp Jin
Please don’t be sorry. I appreciate the vulnerability you’re willing to show infront of so many ppl. Thank you for sharing your story. Not many can do that. And yes...what makes BTS so unique is their ability to resonate with so many ppl on a humane level. They are the biggest richest most popular ppl on earth....they can make many artistic/career choices which focuses on the usual industry stuff....or make no choices at all and continue keeping low without throwing out their opinions on such important yet heavy topics which many artists do (I dont blame them). But their thoughtfulness and humbleness has made so many ppl love them with a strong passion. They saw the pandemic as the time when as artists it was their duty or their calling to cheer ppl. They know the power of their honest music. They knew this album is for soothing the pain in the hearts of their fans due to the pandemic. They are very self aware individuals....many times they said that what they went through is nothing in comparison to millions of ppl. If we peel off the layers of their success....after all the glitz and glamour.....one will be left with nothing but their admirable characters as people. You can’t fake that. Not when your journey is super documented from 9 years. This album is very special, this album gave hope not only to their fans but also to them in those difficult days. Maybe that’s why so many new Army joined the fandom during this time. I’m happy you got to hear life goes on....it deserves all the appreciation of this world. Enjoying your journey....continue doing what you’re doing 💜✌️
I totally agree with you asking why this wonderful song wasn't played on the radio when it came out. I loved the extra live performance in your reaction and thank you so much for all your positive advice about making the most of life and not taking anything for granted. 💜
Thank you so much Rose! I know I have the pain in my heart still for not taking my own advice when I was younger and since that ive learned to let the people I love know I love them, or go to that concert I wanted to go to, or eat lunch with my friend I haven't seen in awhile, life is too short to take these things for granted and though its easier said than done sometimes its worth it in the end
Sorry Meg...(((FAMILY HUG))) I remember when that MV dropped I bawled my eyes out my daughter was going through medical emergency and we were struggling. That song came and I was able to regain strength to keep fighting with the doctors to get her back on track. She is still going through so much it isn't fair but BTS has helped us through so much
dont apologize john...i cry everytime i hear this song and magic shop song...it hits u in the feels because we can relate to the song...this song is in my top 10..and magic shop is number 1 on my list and you will see why later on this month. love the reaction. 💜💜💜💜
Life Goes On is one of my favorite songs and I was able to see them live on Day 4 for PTD LA and it was one of the best moment's of my life and I hope all Army's get to see them live at least once💜.
there's another 2 vers of this mv, one of the vers are actually in this video; it's where the camera filter looks vintage, that ones called 'life goes on: in the forest' but jungkook directed this vers
I cried throughout this whole concert, and again watching this with you. To see them be able to meet with ARMY again after two years was just so powerful. I'm glad you went off-book to find this. And please, never apologize for crying; it's a very human response to emotion, and one that we shouldn't feel the need to hide. One of my favorite things about BTS is that they aren't afraid to cry and be vulnerable on stage. Oh! After BE was released, they released the BE-hind Story, where the members interview each other. It's an amazing insight to how they feel about and approach their music. It's long, but I think you'd love it. 💜
You're not a true ARMY until you've shed your first tears *or* felt extremely moved from a BTS song. Mine was BTS' "On Stage: Prologue: Butterfly". I battle with major depression. The last time I started thinking about suicide (again) was right before I discovered this song/mv. One day, I just opened youtube and this was on my recommended feed. The moment I played this song was the day my life changed. BTS helped me learn to love myself and to keep surviving in this tough world. I haven't looked back since. I've never felt this way about any artist or musician before. I think BTS is very different. I believe they are once in a lifetime legends. I'm proud to be living in the same era as them. I think they will be in global and musical history books. Great reaction! Thanks for being an ARMY :)
Parkj Im so happy you found them on that day and that you are still with us today! Its a constant journey dealing with depression or for me anxiety but having good ways to deal with it like BTS help so much! I hope you know if you ever get in that headspace again my DMs are always open! as well our discord!
I love rewatching this 😅. Did you notice the melancholy and sadness of their life goes on journey. Even the interview was subdued. You really felt that their longing to be with Army again. I was there at PTD LA when they first sang LGO live in concert. You could see how happy they were singing this song to us. 💜 They were so happy to finally see the fruit of this performance 💜
Life Goes On is a very special and emotive song, it really is incredibly meaningful. We all went through a very challenging, and extended, period with the pandemic - my life became consumed with work and grief, and that was mostly it (I’m the nurse, in South Africa 🇿🇦) Your completely sincere reaction is truly appreciated - this Army cried with you 🤷♂️ BTS has helped me through some tough times and I will always be grateful to them for their music, and for (can’t find the right words…) - I guess, being who they are, inspiring and motivating me when I need it, sharing themselves with us in a way that western artists just don’t, so when they speak to us, when they have something to say, I listen, and they never fail to reach me. I can see that they reach you too, and I am glad that they resonate with you. I hope they can give you solace or comfort, maybe even some joy if you need it. Jimin has such a beautiful, light, upper register - his tone is incredible - but his lower register is also absolutely gorgeous, warm and full, with that amazing tone - we don’t often hear it, but it’s lovely. Sorry Meg 🙏🤗🤗 I loved rounding this reaction out with the actual live performance at a concert - it’s so satisfying, seeing the utter joy on their faces… Thank you John. 💜💜
I know what you mean about Jimin. I went to day 4 of their PTD concert in LA and bought sound check tickets to see Jimin up close..and I did! When he walked out onto the stage in front if me...my soul actually sighed in pure joy 😊
BE was such a significant album, come out video showing each album production process where all 7 were directly involved, in addition to them doing lives to talk about everyday life during the pandemic. BE is an album that heals. Glad you found BTS, they are artists who comfort and give joy :)
John, I am so blown away by how much you “get” and feel what BTSus all about. They have the biggest hearts and they love us so much. How can anyone avoid being moved by these men? Thank you!!!
I can recommend you to listen to the entire BE album, in particular it is one of the most personal albums and one of the favorites. In this album they summarize all the moments and sensations that we spent in pandem
If you want to hear more about their writing styles they did a while BEhind interviews w/each other while promoting this album. Also their PTD LA concert will be on Disney+ either this year or next year so you’ll get an even better video quality of this performance. Thank you so much for your reaction and your sincerity 💜 and I’m sorry Meg lol
When I tell you I cried watching this... 😭 I've been having a hard time lately. Your reaction helped me reconnect w/ "Life Goes On", & reminded me that I am So Beyond Lucky bc I was at this concert... 🙏🥳 🌌 😍 I often think about how truly lucky we all are, to be alive right now & be part of this!!! BTS is always there for us - and ARMY is a family unlike any I have ever known. 💜⁷ P.S. Jimin's voice - I've never heard anything like it. Ever. Especially live - he's astonishing.
For real I am so thankful that I saw / heard this song when I did it was what I needed to hear, Im sorry you've been going through it lately too just know that we're all in this together and if you ever want to reach out our discord is a great place and my DMs are always open! Hope this weekend, something amazing happens for you!
Found BTS after they've just released Butter and LIFE GOES ON was one in the first few tracks I've listened to of them and it instantly become a favorite. Now after Magic Shop, Mikrokosmos, Film Out.. after everything in LY Tear album.. after listening and learning the whole of their discography from 2013 to present - Life Goes On remains to be one in my Top 5 faves of all BTS songs. Thanks again, John! 💜

Don't ever apologize for showing emotions. Especially with us ARMY. We have felt and still feel these emotions. You are safe with us. Us ARMY have you. Thank you for being real with us and being real to these men.
you would really like Born Singer (maybe compare the original song to the one they performed in the festa 2022, because they changed some lyrics to adjust to what has happened to them since they released the song, subtle changes but still great)
I cried just about thru the whole concert in L.A. because it was my first BTS concert, and the emotion and energy was incredible. Watching this brought it all back.
I’m sorry Meg! But thank you John for going off script. I love Life Goes On, and the entire BE album. It brought lots of comfort during the pandemic. The live was at So-Fi Stadium. My daughter n I were blessed to get tickets and saw this performance. 💜
I hadn’t seen this interview before so thank you so much for sharing it and how thoughtfully you approach each song. This song deserves so much love and RM saying he’s sad it didn’t get more attention (compared to songs like the three English songs) makes me want to love and stream it more. It’s comfort in musical form. They lived fans enough to put together an album about the feelings we all had during the early pandemic. Thank you for being you have a peaceful weekend! Borahae 💜
💜💜 for real! Trying to explain what happened in this video has been so hard to people who’ve asked why I cried, it was a happy thing, and painful? It just really made me happy to see them overcome what happened to us all during the pandemic and be able to get back on stage in front of army again. When I saw that crowd again that I’ve been seeing in all these live shows, it really got to me. I was so happy for them.
Totally agree with all the post. My husband doesnt get it but its ok he nor anyone else has to get it as long as I do. My admiration, respect, and love for BTS is mine all mine and no one can ever take it away! I 💜 BTS, my Bangtan BulletProof Boy Scouts.
I was there in LA on day 1, right against the stage and when they started singing this song I burst into tears. I was just SO happy that we were all there together, over 50,000 of us finally on the other side of the dang pandemic. I still cry watching my videos of this. You could just tell how much it meant to them to FINALLY be performing this for ARMY in person. They got emotional several times at this concert. Having had the once in a lifetime privilege of being so close and being able to see every emotion that crossed their faces…I just don’t have words for it. It was so incredibly special. I’m glad their music has helped you so much in your own life! They change lives, they truly do. It’s obvious how much you love them. It makes me happy to see.
Glad to show you something new! that was an interview like ive never seen before either! and for sure I am so stoked to hear the rest of this album! whats your favourite songs off it?
You should go off script more often, John. (Sorry Meg 😄) After all, life has no script😂 your subscribers love to share beautiful memories of BTS with you & each other no matter if we're laughing or crying... it's all good.💜
I've seen this song live in SoFi and Vegas. Love your reaction 💜 first time I heard this when it dropped, I cried after Jin closed his eyes and they were in the stadium. In 2020 I felt like I was just holding my breath and I didn't even know it and when I saw the MV I felt like I let out a huge exhale. I love how they also shared the whole album making process with us and kept us busy during that tough weird time. they were also going through it and I felt seen and heard and it really felt fantastic to have something to look forward to when it was just so hopeless during that time.
You completely get it!! Life Goes On is one of my all time favorite BTS songs. It helped me so much during the pandemic. It so heartfelt! I am not a big flyer. When they announced they would be having concerts in LA, I decided to put my brave face on and conquer my fear of flying just to see them. I had to be there to give them all the love and support they had given to me through their words, emotions, and thoughts! To be there with my fellow ARMY family experiencing our Amazing 7!! There is nothing quite like it and I could not be more proud to be a fan of BTS. I will support them in every endeavor they desire to achieve. I ugly cried with you watching it all over again.
I get teary-eyed too on occasion. I feel such happiness and love when I watch and listen to them. I was actually in the audience when they did this song on day 4 at So-Fi in L.A. in Dec. 2021. It was so beautiful and heartwarming. It was an awesome show and they ended it with an amazing surprise that had me screaming because it was exactly was I was hoping to happen. Even my hubby was impressed with how they ended it by surprising us with Chris Martin to do 'My Universe.' They truly know how to make ARMY happy. I've been to a lot of concerts of various genres but that was the BEST.
BTS also did personalized interviews with each other about the songs on the album since each member contributed to the songwriting or production process. The interviews are called jungkook's BE-hind Story, V's BE-hind Story and so on. Please react to them they are so good and you can definitely see how hard to worked on the album
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭a friend asked, what's so special about them. i said, you never see people at their level of success/stature just so extremely down to earth.
most celebs act like the world should be grateful that they exist
at the white house, jk said words like " we are still surprised that music created by south korean artists has reached so many and crossed language and cultural barriers"
😭😭😭😭😭😭
As a fellow metal fan, that's exactly how I feel about BTS!
They are simply put, the best band that has ever banded. At least in my eyes.
Hugs Army.
Never apologize for being touched by music, especially BTS. Your emotions are so sincere and I thank you for being real.
:) thank you Marcia
Army appreciates realness.
Borahae!
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
This is what BTS does. Don’t apologize for being raw and showing your emotions.
I’ll truly never forget it 💜
P.S: Jhope’s album came out today armies! Let’s support him, ok? Fighting!
Fighting Jhope 💜💜
Got the album on streaming now 💜💜 love this info by the way! Such a great song!
They did such a good job in this song!
Jimin is not of this world... Like, how?! 🤯 The high end of this chorus - Ab5, I think?! - is so risky, yet Jimin nails it every time. 💜
Still I don't understand how can Jimin sings like that. He's alien or what?

Imagine waking up to this song in the middle of the pandemic and it's your birthday.... Best birthday gift I've ever gotten! The entire BE album is amazing tbh. They really captured the thoughts, feelings and ponderings a lot of people had during this downtime.
I bet that was amazing!! I really could have used this album then but I’m glad to be introduced to it now!
@@JohnReavesLive
I just wanna add that thee best no-audience performance of LGO is hands down their MAMA 2020 show.
💜💜💜 I bet that was amazing!!
I went there on 1st day with my daughter, it was amazing!!
@@JohnReavesLive
LOL! 😄👍
@@JohnReavesLive Lol a lot of us was being Kanye from that time up to this year as well 😂😂😂 You made my day 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Grammy's piss me off & sometimes i think the Grammy's put those Collab's and features etc. in those area's to prevent BTS from winning anything...
@@JohnReavesLive its a nice song but BTS song was better.
If you liked this song you'll love the entire BE album cuz it's just sooooo good
I really can't wait to hear more from this album!
I really love this song and the message!
26:55 SUGA's part and he wasn't there so they all joined in ^^
*SUGA was missing because he had shoulder surgery for an injury (pre-debut days he got hit by- and ended up under a car when he was out on his delivery job on a bike, he almost ended up under the wheel of the car) that had gotten too bad through the years so he had it fixed but thats why he is missing for some months during this time I think it's for things recorded nov 2020 to jan 2021 that he wasn't present.
I agree when I heard this song it instantly made me feel all those emotions I had worried that id never go to a concert again or travel or see my distant family. that was the oddest time in my life and I think we as a whole civilisation can say we felt that on some level, its crazy to me to think that happened to the entire world. this song would have been such a comfort to hear during that time
Me too!
Another song that I like a lot is film out jimins vocals are amazing and the harmonies are on another level
I’ll have to check that out for sure!!
I love that!! I’ll have to check out more of them!
@@JohnReavesLive this song also has 4 MVs or 5 so check those out too
THIS HAS BEEN MY FAVOURITE REACTION YET.
This is part of BE album that some army's likes to forget that exists and say BTS is "not producing korean album anymore" and "they're focused on english album" after butter was released. This masterpiece made me continue living amidst the hardships i experienced during pandemic. Thank you for the reaction as always 💜
It’s wild to think they don’t appreciate this for the masterpiece it is. Glad you had this during the pandemic!
I love Life Goes On and it will always have a very special place in my heart since it was my first comeback with BTS. The song is just so beautiful and is definitely one of my comfort songs and sometimes it even manages to make me cry. I am glad I saw this live at SoFi. 💜💜
I’m so stoked you got to see this song live! One day! I’ll be at a show!!
The MV was filmed by Jungkook.
ah that is awesome! and Jimin's voice here was so different and so good that it took me a moment to realise it was still him! he did so good live!
It 100% is! I really wish I would have found this community and BTS so much sooner
Life goes on is always forgotten bc it was between butter and dynamite but it’s such a great song tho😢😢😢
It’s such a good song!
"I'm sorry Meg!"
💜 So glad you played a live audience version.
I love everything I’ve heard from this album! And JK did such an amazing job with this video!
Life Goes On is title track for “BE”, not MOTS7
IT was such a good thing for my heart to see them play this song in front of that crowd im use to seeing them play in front of.
ROLL TIDE!

John.. honestly what a beautiful, sincere n heartwarming reaction 💜
It's so endearing to watch people be so moved by music.
You are doing great💜
For real thank you so much! And this song will go down and the first song ever to move me to tears. Such a beautiful experience
You really need to see the version they did for James Corden with both this song and Dynamite. That was a very creative way of how they did the set designs and their performances.
Cant wait to see these!
Awww…. This song is in my top 5 fave song. My husband is not even into BTS songs completely but this is favorite song of BTS funny enough… it’s a beautiful song and touch your heart 💜
It really did! what type of music does your husband normally listen to? maybe we can get him some good suggestions
@@JohnReavesLive he likes music around the 80s era… oh! His fave band is my chemical romance 😀
I understand you a lot about the feelings this song brings.
its such a powerful song and the mv really just drives it all home.
Jhope and Jk harmonizing... CHEFS KISS!!!
🥹 for real thank you so much Shannon for this! I really appreciate it!
Yes this song’s main message is about moving on from the pandemic and YES this song is already pretty emotional, BUT knowing that they were meant to go on a break after MOTS7 HAS MADE THIS SONG HIT EVEN HARDER OMDS
This song got me through the pre vaccine covid period....also "Still with you"...a song by JK to comfort during pandemic
I really want to hear Still with you soon!
Life goes on is my top songs of all time. It's always on my recent playlist
Hahaha.. Jimin and his squeeze :) he does it various times
For real I couldn't agree with this comment more! thank you so much for sharing with me :)
I don't if you know, but Jungkook directed Life Goes On music video! 💜
He did such a good job!!
@@JohnReavesLive yes he did!! Thank you so much for your honest reactions 💜
I really hope to see this song live one day, such an experience just seeing it on UA-cam was powerful I can’t imagine seeing it live
there's another 2 vers of this mv, one of the vers are actually in this video; it's where the camera filter looks vintage, that ones called 'life goes on: in the forest' but jungkook directed this vers
I will have to check those out for sure! thank you for the heads up!
We all went through a very challenging, and extended, period with the pandemic - my life became consumed with work and grief, and that was mostly it (I’m the nurse, in South Africa 🇿🇦)
Your completely sincere reaction is truly appreciated - this Army cried with you 🤷♂️ BTS has helped me through some tough times and I will always be grateful to them for their music, and for (can’t find the right words…) - I guess, being who they are, inspiring and motivating me when I need it, sharing themselves with us in a way that western artists just don’t, so when they speak to us, when they have something to say, I listen, and they never fail to reach me.
Sorry Meg 🙏🤗🤗 I loved rounding this reaction out with the actual live performance at a concert - it’s so satisfying, seeing the utter joy on their faces…
Thank you John. 💜💜
Two years in an I’m still discovering new performances! I’d never seen this tv performance of LGO before.
💜💜 so glad to show you something new! I love this song!
It was such a healing moment being in the crowd for this song in LA and LV💜
I think this song is under rated. To me it’s one of their best.
I know what you mean about Jimin. I went to day 4 of their PTD concert in LA and bought sound check tickets to see Jimin up close..and I did! When he walked out onto the stage in front if me...my soul actually sighed in pure joy 😊
Did BTS finally make our John tear up? Amazing what BTS and Army can accomplish
Lol oh they got me! 😂 the first song EVER to bring me to tears!
@@JohnReavesLive BTS and ARMY will do that to you
BE was such a significant album, come out video showing each album production process where all 7 were directly involved, in addition to them doing lives to talk about everyday life during the pandemic. BE is an album that heals. Glad you found BTS, they are artists who comfort and give joy :)
Once again an incredible and moving reaction.
Feelings on the surface.
BTS 💜 ARMY 💜 FOREVER 😊🤗😘
Thank you so much!!
John, I am so blown away by how much you “get” and feel what BTSus all about. They have the biggest hearts and they love us so much. How can anyone avoid being moved by these men? Thank you!!!
Aw sweet rraction thanks. If you having watched alr MMA 2026 and 2014 with BTS are iconic too.
I can recommend you to listen to the entire BE album, in particular it is one of the most personal albums and one of the favorites.
In this album they summarize all the moments and sensations that we spent in pandem
I was there during their PTD Day 4 concert in LA 🥹🥹🥹 it was a surreal experience!!! We were all emotional. 🥹🥹🥹
It was so good!
What a beautiful Soul you are... 💜
Thank you
This is the song that really saved me during the pandemic. It will always be a special song to me.
Can’t wait to see that video in Disney+ thank you for watching and lol for real! Sorry meg 😂😂
Oh, John... Sending you hugs and purple hearts.💜

Don't ever apologize for showing emotions. Especially with us ARMY. We have felt and still feel these emotions. You are safe with us. Us ARMY have you. Thank you for being real with us and being real to these men.
you would really like Born Singer
(maybe compare the original song to the one they performed in the festa 2022, because they changed some lyrics to adjust to what has happened to them since they released the song, subtle changes but still great)
he has actually reacted to both and both got blocked by youtube. 😢
Borahae 💜
I feel the Same. I wish I would have known bts back then. This song could have helped so much. But better late than never 💜
Lol right?! Exactly though I’m just happy to be here now
definitely this got me through the pandemic! thank you for your music , BTS!! 💜 i loved your reaction, you nice keep going.
Thank you so much! And for real I loved this songb
Life goes on has me in the feels too
BTS found me with this song.. 💜 during the pandemic.. 💜 btw, jungkook directed the official MV for this song
I think only a performer can really relate to your happy tears (Sorry Meg), but I teared up along with you anyway. Thank you for sharing. 💜
This song is another one that feels like a hug …. 💜💜💜💜
Since you said that life goes on should be played on Radio I want to share a funny info🙂Life goes on got only 6radio spins on it's first day...
That’s crazy to me! How could they turn down such an amazing song?!
@@JohnReavesLive Xenophobia ofcourse
Full experience indeed! I hadnt seen that genius interview before! It was great. Time for u to experience the rest of the BE album
Glad to show you something new! that was an interview like ive never seen before either! and for sure I am so stoked to hear the rest of this album! whats your favourite songs off it?
@@JohnReavesLive blue & grey And Telepathy
You should go off script more often, John. (Sorry Meg 😄) After all, life has no script😂
your subscribers love to share beautiful memories of BTS with you & each other no matter if we're laughing or crying... it's all good.💜
I've seen this song live in SoFi and Vegas.
I needed this beautiful song & beautiful reaction at this perfect time. Yes, I busted more than a few tears. Thank you John!
Now you fully understand 😊 borahae💜💜💜
