3 flingo, 3 sails, 1 boat and some amount of grass tufts / catapult spam / lunar flame spam (5 stacks of embers which you can get even before day 10). Lots of options and all are way cheaper/better

yes I agree, so either wurt assisted merm or merm assisted wurt. it might be more challenging if there are fewer merm troops. and this strategy is more suitable in the late game to focus on collecting resources as soon as possible if you are building a mega base or something.
@@NDaang that's the thing about wurt. Instead of getting a bit of gear you're just investing most of your time into the same grindy chores to end up with a colony big enough to just go and decimate everything by afk-ing

Do you remember roughly how many merms youd have with you for the fights? And do you use the dish or do you hand feed each one?
I brought 30 merm but for the toadstool 50 merm, you can read in the description and I used the Communal Kelp Dish because it was faster.

Quite unrelated question but I've seen on other videos where dragonfly's eyes glow but they're normal in this video. What is the reason?
The dragonfly goes berserk when all her babies die. But in this video the damage was so high that she died faster than them. AMAZING!

I didn't include misery toadstool, Mate. Because it will be the same as toadstool only the hp is thicker, and from toadstool we can know that 50 merms alone are difficult, which means you have to bring more merms or solo fight after the merm army is all dead.

After defeating the Ancient Fuelweaver, the Beckoning Hand will appear and gives 5 Dreadstone which will spawn the shadow rift in the cave. In the shadow rift and defeating the ink blink you can get the materials to make it on the Shadowcraft Plinth.
