Yes I think this is the point you need to just be a match with your energy, what you like to do in life etc etc I think a very young spirited partner is going to naturally be attracted to younger people as it’s going to be very hard and the pool is going to be very small to find like-minded people once they get older. A much older person who acts their age with a much younger person probably isn’t going to work as one person is going to feel like they have to sacrifice too much. I have a friend in her mid 50s and she’s just pretty much the same as in her late 20s and looks amazing for her age for her to find 60+-year-old guy on a level with her is a tiny pool I don’t think she’s ever dated anyone her own age to be honest. Personally I would date an older guy and have but they would need to also be energetically young.

I would definitely be open to having my first child then too, it’s pretty common these days, not rly an issue for most. Never wanted more than one anyways. it's crazy how women judge other women for dating younger guys but have no problem dating men old enough to be their dad's. my girl friend is 32 but looks my age (22) she get's more judgement from her friends who are in relationships with men who are 15,26, and 20 yrs older than them. I agree. It just sucks with the judgement. Especially from my family. Other than that I feel it's the best relationship I have ever had. I don't feel afraid and constantly having to be the one that is in charge or "be a man" and bring gifts and give surprises.
It's a natural reaction people get because they know it's not what both genders naturally look for in partners. It's like saying you won't have a natural inclination to judge a woman married to a man 3 inches shorter, or a female doctor marrying a male nurse, or a beautiful model marrying an ugly man. Why should any of that matter if they love the person? The reality is these situations don't happen often because what women look for in partners is far different than what men do, and when one party can act on their natural preferences they usually do because it brings internal equilibrium. Innately we know these are not partner scenarios that foster an environment optimal for the development and growth of the strongest humans.
To briefly summarize, and this has been scientifically proven, the male mating/partner strategy is to spread his genetics with the most amount of fertile attractive women to ensure the best outcome for his offspring and genetic legacy. Men are the lesser monogamous gender by far. Obviously times are different, but the male wiring isn't. So on a subconscious level as humans, we know for him to give up sexual variety and abundance, not only for one woman, but an older one who's fertility and beauty window is far smaller, if there is any left, is going strongly against his innate wiring. Not only that, but we know women are the more hypergamous gender that typically mates and partners with males equal or higher in status and resources that exude masculine qualities such as dominance and competence, as women bear the greater reproductive cost and are the more physically vulnerable gender. Again, we know on a subconscious level for a woman to partner with a man of lower status and resources, she is taking on a huge risk when it comes to survival and reproductive success. And we know younger men tend to not have higher status, resources, competence, etc. that fully allow a woman to be in her femininity. This is generally why older woman younger men is met with resistance not only from women, but society as well because it is not the most optimal scenario to grow and strengthen the human species.

Age matters because men are biologically wired to seek youth, beauty, and fertility as it ensures the greatest likelihood of many healthy offspring, and a man feels he is wisely investing his resources and provisioning for a greater return. Whether he actually wants to have kids or not, men are subconsciously only attracted to signs of fertility. Women over 30 really starts losing these signs. You cant build much with an older woman, so the guys that go after older women are usually lower economic status guys that younger women don't want because they cannot provide. Younger women 18-24 are universally desired by men of all ages so they are in very high demand. Also men are naturally leaders of tribes and dominant, so when he seeks an older woman he is signaling he is deficient in these areas and is coupling with an older woman to assist. Essentially signaling he is a lower status male. Women are hypergamous meaning they naturally date up in status and resources, which when older women date younger are usually dating men with lower status and resources than them. It goes against primal instincts on every level from both genders. That's why it's usually frowned upon.

Even when I was 18 , My 17 year old brother had 23 and 25 year old women hitting on him. I once had a 41 year old with a 19 year old daughter wanting to date my 17 year old brother.

They did a study and found that 66% of women over 45 felt invisible when they walked into a room and 80% of women over 50 felt completely invisible. Type that into a search engine. Most women over 40 are not attractive. They've lost all their fertility cues. The ones that still have relevancy are pumped full of silicon, botox, dye, and estrogen/progesterone. You think some guy in his 20s is going to be head over heals for a women that's infertile, grey, sagging, wrinkling, and thinning over a woman his age? That's stupid. You're talking as if women are still selectors and can choose who they want at 45, which is obviously not the case. Also most guys that are 45 are also going to find women in their 20s more attractive.

I love the results from studies they included. Study showing that relationships where the woman is older are more satisfying for both on all levels! That 80% of women are open to dating 10 years younger and 90% of men are open to dating 10 years older. ❤

That study is straight BS. I'm a 34 year old guy and I've never known a guy interested in women that much older. All my friends are/have dated women their age or younger. These are pharmacists, physical therapists, MDs, luxury real estate agents, etc. in good shape. Guys aren't looking to build and be with older women with decreased beauty and fertility. If you look at dating app studies you'll find older women especially after 35 become highly undesirable as a whole. The profiles are likes less than 15% on average. Keep coping.

Thank you SO VERY MUCH for this interview. For years it has been a “ Stigmatized “ subject concerning younger men with older women. I used to hear through the rumor vine that we needed to be with someone who is closer to our own age in order to be able to get along with a perspective partner, and older men needed to be with a younger woman especially if he wanted to have children. My first husband and I were 1 year apart in age with him being older. It was bad enough for me that I was not taught certain things from my mother when I was so young and when I reflected upon her statements to me ,” Grow up , get married and have kids.” it was like she was saying ,” You have no value in life unless you get out there right now and find someone to marry you, so you can have kids. And, I want grandchildren.” I never had an opportunity to date but once. I don’t know what my dad said to the young man but after he brought me home from the football game that we had gone to, he had walked me to the door and said,” I won’t be back again. “ and left. My second husband was even worse than the first one. He was about 10 years older than me and I tried to be more careful with entering this relationship and only committed myself to helping him by seeing him through his time in prison. I was committed to him further by having to marry him in prison so he could have conjugal visits. I felt most fortunate that I was not killed by him about 7 months after his release from prison. That was shocking and suddenly occurred to me without expectation. However, I read all that as my “ Thank you” for my investment. After putting me and my two children I had at the time on a Greyhound bus to Texas to my parents home and 2 years later, I had learned and earned enough to take myself and my two children back to Sacramento, get us settled and had my possessions paid for that were in storage and delivered to me at my new residence. I searched for Legal help and filed for divorce. I had to be strong for my children and myself to take care of them and myself. I earned my G.E.D. , enrolled in college and b fan to pursue an A.A. degree in Administration of Justice. I had been in therapy for my troubled past for two years and in 1988 , while speaking with a couple of notable personalities over the radio ( one of whom owned the radio station business ), I met a young man who was 17 and I was 34 at the time. I had a connection with him in some way; however, even though I said he could call back that following January on or after his birthday we had somehow lost touch with each other until earlier this year. I now find myself in the “ waiting pool 🎱 “ again. Wondering if he was Societally Stigmatized in the interim also. At any rate, I am VERY happy, grateful and satisfied with this program that you have presented to your viewing public regarding the Age Difference in dating and mating Adults and that we don’t have to be Stigmatized for our choices in Love . My deepest & most meaningful connection was with a man 20 years younger than me. He is very well educated, responsible and accomplished as a US Army ranger officer. We met in 2016 soon after he returned from Europe and his willingness to communicate was refreshing after a 30 yr marriage with an evasive man who ended up shutting down completely. Men like variety and are not monogamous by nature, so to give that up generally requires a woman to be exceptional in the youth, beauty, and fertility department. After all, monogamy exists to build families and tribes, not solely companionship. So, when a man forgoes his biological desire for youth, beauty and fertility to spread his genes far and wide, he is signaling he is a lower status male that cannot exercise his true desire.
It's been proven scientifically men are aroused by youthful feminine features that signal fertility whether they want to actively reproduce or not. Studies find 75-80% of men want to have children. Older women either already have or can't have children any longer, which makes them a bad bet for continuing a man's genetic legacy. Not only that, but men like most things in nature want to mitigate risk, and by going with younger women there is a far higher probability of multiple offspring that will be healthy. Most men don't want a woman in her 40s carrying and raising an infant that requires high energy, it's a young woman's game which is why nature shuts off reproductive capabilities for women around 40-45. At 40 there's a 40% chance of a spontaneous abortion and 80% at 45.
The trend is really only for women that have money and have invested in their appearance naturally. For the average woman that's 5'4" 170 lbs and makes 45k, it's only a dream unless she wants a younger man that's no woman wants because any young man that has options via looks or resources is not going with that. Keep in mind, 70% of women are overweight and the older women get the more they weigh compared to their younger counterparts. The odds are really stacked against most older women.

What’s up with all the comments regarding money and how those younger guys are broke probably. That’s the main problem with older men, they think money can fix everything and they can buy woman’s love. Lets be honest, it's a main driver in why those younger guys are with older women. All were breadwinners. However, once a younger man begins making solid money and starts getting on the radar of younger women there's a very high probability he's ditching the older for the younger more age compatible woman. In that case, yes he must generally be pretty wealthy and somewhat still attractive for his age to be able to have a chance with a younger woman especially in the United States. I’m 8.5 yrs old than my boo. I do happen to look young for my age (I have a baby face, good genes, and I take good care of myself), and people often think he’s 2-3 yrs older than me. Neither of us ever think about it really. We’re good for one another and are super compatible in all the important ways. That’s all that matters.

When I met the man of my life he said I was too young for him. I was a 33 yo widow and he was 38 newly divorced. I fell for him right away first time in my life I didnt have to grow to love a partner. He fell at once for me. I had doubts first his divorce was final the night we met so he hadnt been single long. I had been widowed a year and a half and had recovered. Then I was mother of an 8 yo daughter...I needed to be sure he was up for her...she was my main responsibility. He said he had always dated older women, he liked woman about 5 yrs older than him...his first girlfriend had been older so it was a familiar pattern for him. We laugh about it now but he was dating three other women when we met...he didnt move in for a year, though he broke up with them soon after we met..we both really did know each other was the one, but we wanted to protect ourselves, each of us...together 40 yrs and still crazy about each other
i have a friend who started out dating someone his age (mid 30s both). But seeing that she was "sleeping " around too much, he decided to date the mom (20 years older). Today he brought the mom over to the states as his official gf.
In her 60’s my mother became a widow and dated for the first time in decades. She consistently dated men as much as 10 years younger. She observed that men don’t wear as well as women. Men don’t live as long as women and their health fails sooner and she didn’t want to become someone’s nurse. I’m now in my 50’s and my ex was 12 years my senior. At this point I wouldn’t even consider dating a man more than 5 years my senior and I’m now open to dating men as much as 10 years younger. What my mother observed years ago is absolutely true. Basically, a woman of 50 is often health-wise where a man of 40 is, and a woman of 60 is often health-wise where a man of 50 is. Health and vitality are real considerations once you get to middle age and.

Yep - the first woman nailed it: Independent person in public but the older generation of men, I've found, want women completely dependent on them (including thoughts & decisions) when not in public so, basically, the preference is only to have the public persona as a ruse. (And don't even get me started on having to listen to their incessant whining and put up with their mood swings and selfishness. I'm not their mom and I'm certainly not their babysitter.)

Lucky. I am a 21 year old guy and I never had a girlfriend either. Got rejected by 3 girls so far(2 from my college and another from a dating app who insulted me too). I tried following some girls on Instagram whom I knew in high school but only 3 of them followed me back and I still didn't message them yet as idk what to write and they are all 20-22 year olds. But I am sad that the girl named Britney didn't accept my follow request yet. She was my classmate in 6th to 10th grade and I had a crush on her when we were in 9th and 10th grade. She is also 21 or maybe even 22 now and she is very pretty and I wish she follow me back because I think I again got a crush on her just seeing her profile pic on IG and she is even prettier now at 21.

Wait, who says that no one judges a man dating a younger girl? Everyone does that. I don't know anyone who maybe wouldn't judge a 40 year old man dating an 18 year old.
For sure, they will comment, but I think it's more common than the opposite so we tend to accept it more I feel.
My ex married a woman 19 1/2 years younger than him. I don't think it's working out like he thought it would. With her pulling purse and puppet strings, that's hard to take when he can't be in control. Touché, Karma found him!
