Sat next to my friend, and we watched Professos Wallofski on TV. He laughed that much he cried and fell of his chair. Great memories!!! Thank you Max!!!
i worked as a cab driver in Lewisham, and he was one of my fares one evening, said he wanted to go to the London Steak house in Blackheath Village, fine no problem and off we went, on route i asked him if they did a nice meal in there, he replied they make a perfect banana roll, never forgot that and mentioned it to my wife while driving through the road he lived in brilliant fella
The astonishing skill and life long training these people had, now all it seems to require is perfect teeth and electronic editing of voice and singing. You know who you are..
He really was a genius - performer, writer, musician, dancer, acrobat, comedian, talent scout and generous man in the profession. He had his demons for sure but he never gave in to them!
Thank you so much for your reply Julie. I believe you were from Leamington Spa (or lived there)... That's where I live & was born. Love listening to & watching everything about max. *You won't get (or do not get) these type of people anymore. Regards Thomas.
@ThomasClark-xt3xy Hi Thomas, well indeed, I was born in beautiful Leamington Spa and my grandmothers lived there most of their lives. Did you know there is a society dedicated to Max? They have a quarterly magazine, events and things for sale related to Max. You may find it interesting - here's a link to their website: www.maxwallsociety.org. I have loads on my You Tube channel - a playlist dedicated to Max, click here and it will take you there. ua-cam.com/play/PLNmWMEosejL5Ll12qgoOXVHGGsl611hOt.html&si=cRxzle3xaWLcb1Yi All the best, Julie
I remember him in the 70s as a kid, when he came on stage, everyone was laughing but he didn’t even start! Fantastic entertainment, mum and dad, my two sisters would be laughing through out his performance. Great time’s they were and never forgotten. Well done Max. Bravo 🎉🎉😂😂👏👏👏👏👏
The dedication, the craft, the art, the writer, dancer, musician, comic and actor, Max was so much more than the walk.
Thanks for this video i wonder why there is almost none of his work available to watch a shame there must be some recorings somewhere.
The dance moves from the clips of The Max Wall Show (1956) are amazing.
That was as beautiful as the man himself. Thanks for sharing.

Max Wall was brilliant and very underrated

He was long before my time but I enjoy his company on these vids very funny clever man r i p Max 🌹🍀❤️🇬🇧
I loved the surrealism of his comedy & the way he delivered it deadpan, like it was perfectly normal. Total "Funny Bones" comedian. :)
Max never stopped being funny-his observations and commentaries on everyday life had me in hysterics most of my childhood!
The man was... A Genius. R.I.P Max. ❤
He certainly was Thomas...thank you for saying so! 😘

As a kid in the 60s/ 70s Max being on the telly was a highlight. Sadly missed but fondly remembered.
