Oh wow, that snow box is a beast man, it's awesome! I love that backdrag with the expanded steel sheet.

Thanks! Yeah it works awesome as a backdrag. It really scrapes and as heavy as the attachment is, it doesn't lift from the weight of the snow.

That snow pusher works great! Nice work.

Thanks. For the last few weeks I've used my blower only, it's been so cold here in Wisconsin and everything is froze solid. And I love the maneuverability of my tractor without the arms.

Nice job man you built that pusher like a tank too it looks like. I really like how you made your back drag wider with the mesh screen that was a smart idea.. This is why I haven't built my backdrag yet because I'm going back and forth on how I wanna do it.. Too thin and the snow will go up and over it and too wide and it will block too much of the main pushbox and wont allow me to catch as much snow.. Ill prolly end up doing something like land pride does.. I feel like if the snow goes up and over it then I can just back drag it a few times to get it all which isn't a huge deal but man yours is looking great excellent work!

Yeah thanks. Mine will flip up outta the way if I want a bigger opening, or I can completely remove it. I used to worry about the piling up as I push, but NOW once I get the snow in a row, my blower takes over! Wink wink hint hint. Lol. No more piles! It's blown "way the fuck over there somewhere! " lol. And yeah my whole pusher/ back drag with in around 1,100lbs. But it never lifts any weight, and the weight sure helps the back drag bite in float, with my cylinders only extended about a 1/3, so I can hook something and not work about damage. I love my rear blower! I used to have monstrous piles into April, that shouldn't be the case this year. I'm on a hill, and the friggin wind always drifts the snow up along the buildings, so I wanted that 2ft high back drag, too collect it all. And it does! Take care buddy.

@@ironheadbiker sounds like you have it all dialed right in! Cool stuff man I’m happy for you, best of luck with future snows! 👍🏻

I get home later on finally after 6 days. Gonna try snowblowing with my loader arms off. Just an experimental exercise. I spend a lot of time maneuvering and trying to get into tight spots. It'll feel like a sports car with the arms off. Not sure if I'll need front ballast. I guess I'll find out. Lol. We got about 8" wet heavy drifting stuff again. Take care

@@ironheadbiker you’ll def need or want front ballast I’m assuming.. those snow blowers on rear are quite heavy.. doesn’t take much to pop a wheelie for me in the summer with my loader off and my suitcase weights still on the back haha

I didn't shoot any video, it was just too windy! But I was very surprised how well it worked. It's just over 500lbs, but no traction issues what so ever. Even going backwards down my hills. It was so nice for my tight spots, of which I have many. Those loader arms and that huge pusher are always my big concern when turning while backing because of the swing. I think I measured just under 18ft front to back with my pusher and blower on. It feels like a sports car now. And the nice thing about the blower is you touch the snow once and then it's gone. And 68" at a time it goes quickly. This setup works good for our last two snows, both over 8", but when it's 2-3" definitely pusher is quicker. I think maybe the overall weight of the 2501 (2600 and change) and a longer wheel base must offset the 500lbs to not need ballast? The blower also sits quite close to the rear of the tractor. I kinda went off when my nephew was here and I let him do my driveway with the box blade and had the arms of, that weighs around 400lbs. I thought maybe the whole time I'd have to call my neighbor over with his skidsteer to pull me out when I got stuck, cuz it was sunny and 33 degrees which made the snow very slippery. My tire chains definitely paid off. Another thing I like is that I don't get the steering issues going backwards as I do with my pusher. It's like a snowmobile. Once it's down you better be pointed in the direction you're going, cuz it ain't gonna turn unless you raise it. Anyways I was pleasantly pleased, and found it actually does damn good as a back drag too. Lol. I'm sure you got buried with this same storm, but we're in a for a little break now weather wise, next weekend tho our high temp is -3 I think. Take care, and keep on truckin!

Not too long clearing snow with that setup!!! Thanks!

Yeah my goal was to kinda have a Swiss army knife setup for snow. No 2 snows are the same. 10yrs i did the whole property with a 28" Troybilt walk behind blower. Life has definitely gotten easier. And more fun!

I've got an L2501. 2 yr old. Thanks for the compliments, I just kinda figured it in my head as I went along. Lol. But it works great! I rarely flip it up outta the way, and it still pushes a ton, but it's pretty easy to do if I need it up. The main thing was not having to switch my rear blower around to another implement to get snow away from the several inside corners i have. I love my blower! And we're getting blasted again tomorrow night into Sunday, so it'll get another workout. 6-12" with 35mph winds.
