Hey top video Bro,I’m sure some of these crazy old blokes park up a vehicle when it’s run out of fuel, then buy another vehicle that has fuel in it ⛽️ 😆
Not quite as bad but I remember a lad outside Rostrevor who would buy a car drive it until the MOT expired then park it in a field and buy another. In the mid to late 80s & early 90s that field was full of classics from the 40s onwards, everything from Rovers to Austins Ford's to Datsuns. Sadly the council forced him to clear them out but he kept a few.
Dispite all the common issues and the need for a shed full of spare parts i do love landrovers and to see a classic rangerover left like that is such a shame .
I heard so much about the unreliability over the years, then I drove a Range Rover and instantly I understood why people put up with it, just in a different league and made driving anything else feel shit in comparison.
Hello mate. Just wanted to say it's nice to see someone who has the same sort of sympathy for old vehicles that i do, and i know most of the people watching do as well. It is sad seeing the way some people abandon these cars, as you said in another vid, they're not our cars and the owner really has the right to do what he or she wants with them. Maybe because of the way we were brought up, we hate the waste of something that could almost definitely have been saved at some point... But also the belief that cars are more than the sum of their parts, not to get too philosophical but we all wish they were treated with more respect, or sold on to someone who might be able to save them. Cheers for the vids.
That Range Rover breaks my heart. Finding something like that on the market is almost impossible, yet there it sits to rot away for no reason. Very sad.
Hi mate that blue range must be genuine mileage as there’s no dvla records, unbelievable survivor car, in the best colour combo being an Essex boys replica 😍👍
Another great video Stu. As much as I don’t share your passion for the land yachts it’s crazy to see a 23k miles vehicle of any make just abandoned like that. They say there’s a story behind everything and it’d be great to hear why those ended up just left to rot.
That 27k mile Rangey looked like it was definitely salvageable. Chassis and sills looked decent and so did rear arches. Wouldn't take to much to get back on the road.
I presume the Scooby was a WRX or something jazzy, would love to have one but hearing of extremely poor MPG and expensive repair bills put me off. The old ,proper land rover is a sad sight being an early 70s version and hard to find. Great explore, cutting the running time to suit the content in very sensible. Many thanks
Another great explore, awful to see those two range rovers blending into there surroundings though ,tganks for sharing with us always a pleasure to view .
I had a prodrive impreza V reg exactly same colour as that one..... loved every minute in it!! That one looks like the standard non turbo. The Range Rover 2 door, - if restored are going for good money. My neighbour has a green 2 door one same reg been offer 40k as it is mint.
I have a friend who's like that with classic cars,he buys them, stores them and never does anything with them. I think it's some kind of mental problem. Great vid as usual!
Me parecen autos firmes ,macizos. Buen video. Ojalá rescaten y restauren alguno. Saludos desde Ecuador, nueva seguidora !!!
What a great location … those Range Rovers 😢😢 such low mileage - do hope someone is able to rescue it🤞 As for your number plate …. You definitely need that!! Great video as always 👍👍
Both Range Rovers wear 1986/7 number plates yet the 23,000 miler has 'classic' badges which only became a thing in 1994, just after the new generation P38 came out. If it's a '94 then that explains the low mileage by 2005 when it was parked up. Can you imagine how nice it must have been back then. Why it wears those plates is a bit suspect as they're clearly not cherished numbers.
I wonder if the engine or gearbox had gone. I am ashamed to say I have had it, park it up thinking il get that sorted out when I get the time, then times go past and it starts looking shabby and like it will be hard work to sort out.
Hi Stu Looks like you made it big with this video I saw it on google news yesterday I can’t seem to upload link But I typed in google UA-camr finds 23,000 mile Range Rover And it brings it up Well done Ian 😃👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
My fingers are crossed for you I love the way you feel about all the poor old girls just left to rust in peace If only they could tell their stories and live again What a crying shame Cheers Ian 😃👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Ian
I probably had a hand in building those Range Rovers as I used to work at the Solihull, Land Rover site! It's sad to see em like that especially as they were so expensive to buy!
another 15+ minutes of sheer entertainment Stu thank you so much. I bet the newish Korean and Chinese autos of today won't stand up to abandonment like them range rovers or subaru in another 30 years.
Man o Man Stu, the Impreza was a good find but that Range Rover, Why? Why do people leave them like that? Such a shame and a waste of a real classic. Keep up the great work brother!!
The Range Rover and also the Subaru are amazing! You should try to get the Range Rover I think that's a great chance if it's not too badly rusted. What do you think it would cost?
Morning Stu 5 - 10 - 15 or longer - it dont matter the length of the video - it's the quality of the content - TBH between 10 - 20 mins is enough in a video - I have seen videos on other channels that are 40 mins to over an hour & honestly your attention span dont hold up well - id look at a bit & come back to it later - 23k mile RR 😢shame to see it rottin away in woods - 😢 shame to see all the vehicles rottin away - excellent vid my friend & as i said in a previous video - if you ever get to Ireland let me know & I'll travel round with ya Brother - again great vid bud - take care - Stay Safe
It's sad that such beautiful cars are rotting away. I've never seen a Range Rover in a scrap yard in Germany. If one is in bad condition, it will be taken immediately as a spare part carrier. I think the Range Rover was the first SUV ever, followed by the later Mercedes G Class. Great video! Greetings Klaus from Duüsseldorf
Hello. I watched almost all your videos as I have only just discovered you. However. I see you use a gopro. Have you tried to use the linear wide option while filming so it doesnt look so fisheye? Just a thought. Thats what i use. Great videos btw.
cant believe people would spend that amount of money on an impreza and a range rover that wouldnt be cheap even back then would do this, i would love for someone to buy them and detail them to as they left the factory. someone must of cared at some stange they both have seat covers on them find the owner and buy to save them its a crying shame great videos
Unbelievable stu 23,000 mile range rover people must be off there heads aye such a shame considering a decent jetspray wax up and service be back on the road where it belongs so too the scooby love what you do and the channel 👍 you got my support ace 👍
Good afternoon STOKZE, just watched Saturday’s vid and what were the chances of that Massey Ferguson tractor having your name on the registration plate? And until next time my well traveled friend TaRa for a bit.
That range rovers last v5 was back in 2006 so i would say its been there since then, cant check the mileage tho as it says mot history not available for some odd reason
Poor old Impreza looked quite good. Needs rescuing as it's a modern classic, but with owning one for 10 years I know the pit falls with them, especially rot round the rear arches and rear suspension turrets. I know a guy who worked for Prodrive and put the RB5 and P1 together. He said they were never underseal from new. Something for you potential buyers to look out for.
D176SNC according to DVLA never has had an MOT from its first 3 years of road use 1987 to 1990 , so it's highly likely this is a genuine 23000 miler from brand new. Its likely after 1990 it never saw road use and was just used as an off road vehicle. Until whatever reason saw it dumped in the woods.
Man …. Now Stokze I’m a Subaru Fan, boy oh boy mate that Impreza makes me want to cry 😢 good Jesus man, those cars are great, but the poor Land Rovers, especially the one with 20,000+ miles that can be saved but it will be a brake in someone’s pocket to do that though, but great vid👍👍👏👏😎😎🛞🛞
Hi IMSTOKZE, thank you very much for your kind words and advices at my channel. I am definitely subscribing to yours, because I can learn a lot from your vids. Hopefully I will find some old car burned under straw in my barn and send it to you for restoration :))))))
Wow I reckon the rangrover and scooby would clean up nice they bothe look solid. You should try and find the owners and beg them to sell , such a waste 😢
shame you chose to overlook the almera even if its only a gl theres not many left the si sri and the gti almeras were seriously overlooked when there was plenty about, a reliable quick comfy car for its time
what a shame great show as usual pure madness they must have money to burn buy them and leave them to rot some people are a joke keep up the good work imstokze 🚙🚙🚙
Hey top video Bro,I’m sure some of these crazy old blokes park up a vehicle when it’s run out of fuel, then buy another vehicle that has fuel in it ⛽️ 😆
🤣🤣🤣👌🏼 That's a class message, bud, and I'm with you on it, I think they do exactly that! Made my morning thanks (pinned)
@ImStokze I would love to be put I. Contact with the owner of the range rovers to buy them all

I had a prodrive impreza V reg exactly same colour as that one..... loved every minute in it!! That one looks like the standard non turbo. The Range Rover 2 door, - if restored are going for good money. My neighbour has a green 2 door one same reg been offer 40k as it is mint.

another 15+ minutes of sheer entertainment Stu thank you so much. I bet the newish Korean and Chinese autos of today won't stand up to abandonment like them range rovers or subaru in another 30 years.
Nice Wolfrace Alloys on that second RR. A classic upgrade in the day.
Man o Man Stu, the Impreza was a good find but that Range Rover, Why? Why do people leave them like that? Such a shame and a waste of a real classic. Keep up the great work brother!!

Hi Stu. Just checked with dvla it’s never had its first ticket. Presumably it’s never been on the road .It is sorned. London Paul.
When i first saw the title i thought you drove 23000 miles to see a range rover!😮😅😅😅😅 . Seriously though that car is worth mega money!
Two great Rangies that both need saving. So sad to see all the cars just left there.
Great video stu and what a find loving the suburu and the 23,000 mile range rover, brilliant content as usual mate

The Poison Dwarf Will be along to buy it soon 🤬
The blue range rover comes up as no details held but the last V5C was issued on the 6th jan2006
think you should head across the water and find us a truck load of classic renaults and citroens to dribble over!
Hello. I watched almost all your videos as I have only just discovered you.

I mean it's nice but seeing it has drums on the rear means it's a 1.6 standard so not worth too much compared to a turbo
Thanx for the content brother 💙
