- Hello & welcome to a new episode, a garden find special
So what can I tell you? How it started, So I got a message from a chap a couple of weeks back asking if I'd like to go and record his car collection. I obviously said yes, ! What an absolute legend of a man, not only does he have 2 sierra xr4x4s, But he has a turbo sapphire, a mk1 ford fiesta xr2 cabrio fly, But on top of that he only has a sierra RS COSWORTH Hidden away in some bushes, I mean really, You will not believe what you are about to see, This ladies and gents is a true gem of a garden fined, Sit back and relax whilst i show you something that's not normally found like this, What is noramly showed at car shows or is normally the apple of the owners eyes, This one has been nothing more then a second thought, This is a ford rs cosworth bush find....
Just to say a big thanks to Nathan for letting me see his hidden treasures, That Cozzy was unreal....

So….. he’s got a 1.8diesel sierra in the garage but a cossie sat in the undergrowth …. It worries me how some peoples brains function 😂😂
ikr, very strange
I was just shaking my head through this entire video
I just don't understand the mentality
Trying to tow the transit from the boot latch 😂
@@karlhamilton2082 funny🤣
Should be in prison for leaving it there 😮
I'm glad that didn't start, stood for that length of time and the state of that cambelt.
That was a dangerous thing to do.
Sometimes these things need to be done, But what you didn't see was all the checks we did first, Remember its a video so you don't always see behind the scenes, Obviously we made sure the belt wasn't brittle torn or damaged, But thanks for your concern....
100% agree
Was never going to start
But if 14 years, oil is shot and so is petrol. Could have done some unnecessary damage. Appreciate the excitement for the Cossie tho. Love it!
I've been a subscriber for a long time now and have cars laid up myself. but this video is a perfect example of why people don't want to showcase the cars thay have stored away or laid up in bushes. poor bloke has invited us all to see his cars and given us good content with stu and most of the people in the comments are slating him over trying to start it or keeping a diesel sierra in the garage instead of the cossie and the people saying its criminal leaving it to rot. who do some people think thay are. we can all dream about what we would do with a car like that in our garden but the reality is most of us would of just sold it on to fund something else. all I'm saying is we should just enjoy watching the video instead of picking fault's and scaring off the type of person we need to get in contact with stu to provide us with access granted videos 🍻👍
This is exactly what im saying bud, the amount of hate this video is getting and for no reason at all, ive been messaging so many people putting them strate tey they keep coming thick and fast, No care whatsoever about how there making people feel,
@@ImStokze you can't please everyone mate but screw em. keep doing what you do and banging the videos out 👍
A classic like this deserves to be on the road. It needs a shit ton of work but it will be a labour of love.
What a waste
@@flippingcarsrepairs being a survivor i'd say not a waste at all :) for sale i think.
Most people, Him included could not ever afford to restore that now, that needs a 40k resto before the engine and gearbox are rebuilt. He should have sold all his junk there and put eberything into it back in 2011, it would now be his retirement fund
Every cossie doesn't need to be concourse condition, just needs to use able
A good clean some welding MOT and use it
It needs to be saved and cherished not put back in the brambles for another 7 years that would be sad
Winds me up stupid fools
It sure would ☹
Im sat here screaming DONT START IT - Did you see the state of the cambelt? Also mould like that in a car is no joke - please take care
The mould on the seats was gross!
I’ve got a mk 1 Scirocco in my garage been there for 25 years. I took it off the road in 94. 46,000 miles from new. Two owners. One of 500 imported. I love her and dream of getting her back on the road.
I’d be interested in buying the mk1 is it a GLS or GLI?
@@rallycrosscraig it’s a GLS Automatic but I love her and am not ready to part with her yet xx
Fresh fuel , check the timing belt and fuel pump and fuel regualator and boom she lives again.🤔🤞🤞
Bloody hell Stu.
I wouldn't be trying to start it on that old cam belt.
Hi bud first of all thanks for watching, but i need to mention that we did all the relevant checks before hand off camera to warrant a turn over, obviously we knew it wouldn't start , The car doesn't belong to me it belongs to nathan it was his decision to try and turn it over, he knows his car and knew the implications it may or may not of caused, Please don't be so quick to judge, Appreciate the time you took out to watch, Many thank Stokze....
@@ImStokze I'm not judging dude, just saying.
A diesel in the garage n a cozzy in the trees😮
🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
A car like that deserves much better than left sitting outside. It deserves to be restored and put back on the road. As you know, these cars are both highly desirable and valuable. It beats me how that car was left sitting outside in the first place. What a great project to get this car started and back to roadworthy condition. Looking forward to Part 2.
Good idea that leave a diesel in the dry and let the cosworth rot 🤦♂️
Another great video stu 👍
I definitely would not try starting it with out spending a few quid and changing the cam belt 1st ,, quick job on those
Stokesy… if this video doesn’t set the internet on fire , you might aswell pack it in pal 😮
Bud i agree haha, Hope it goes where it should Thanks for watching bud
We're gonna 'focus' ... In the middle of all the other Fords ... my sense of humor.
I'dd come with you and clean the whole front yard while I'm at it. Chap could use a hand there. Let's go, get it fired up !
I chuckled too 😅
Love what you do, I can’t help feeling sorry for his neighbours 😅
Totally worth restoring... It's a mark one RS Cosworth!!! 😍
So he's stored a diesel Sierra away in the shed and left the Cossie out in the elements to rot! Some logic right there.
Cossie may have been built whereas the 1.8 may have been being worked on needing shelter maybe
I wouldn’t be attempting to start that without giving it a good service first.
Also you were game sitting on those seats 🥴
Why on earth are you trying to start it with 12 year old petrol? You're lucky the cam belt hasn't snapped. 🤦
Hi bud first of all thanks for watching, but i need to mention that we did all the relevant checks before hand off camera to warrant a turn over, obviously we knew it wouldn't start and the car doesn't belong to me it belongs to nathan it was his decision to try and turn it over, he knows his car and knew the implications it may or may not of caused, Please don't be so quick to judge, Appreciate the time you took out to watch, Many thank Stokze....
Well done stu ford's are my favourite car the serria has immobiliser no fuel pump kicking in may be the 2 pin one on the right ov the dash and I was cringing when u dry started it should have took the plugs out dropped a bit ov fuel with a tad ov 2 stroke to lube up the bores and turning it over with no plugs would get oil to the top end without harming the head an killing the battery ps let it warm.up slowly other wise u may blow the head gasket or nail the turbine can't wait to hear it start from James an the serria 4x4 s and mk 1 fiesta xr2 cab there rare as rocking horse poo that be a great driver for summer time top job keep up the great work bud have a great weekend filming are new vid 💯🏁👍oh forgot to say we can all say a big thanks to Nathan for letting us look at a these 80s ford thankyou Nathan top man and a Ford fan 💯👍👍👍
Wow, they're still out there to be found. 😢 great video
i got one sitting last 3 years been thinking of getting it back on road.
but the attention you get is horrid
everyones gotta cossy story and think you wanna hear it...
Bit amazed that you'd keep standard Sierras and a mk1 fiesta in a garage and leave a valuable 3door cossie out in the weather ?? Covers just trap moisture outside
Wow I have to say a massive thanks to you stu for the fantastic content you keep supplying bro 👍, the struggles you have to get to these finds is incredible bud just so as we can sit on our backsides and watch and enjoy, this one is fantastic what a car to have left in brambles and how great is this guy thoroughly enjoyed this , please keep this kind of content going bud once again brilliant 👏
A bit mad I think to try and start it on that old cam belt......
Nathan will do anything to get his gardening done for him 😂😂
What a video Stu, finding a cossie hidden away like that is pure gold.
Needs some work after 37 years but that's to be expected.
Can't wait for part 2 of you getting it running out in the open and give it a good clean🙂
Nice work mate, keep the awesome content coming.
Somebody please save this piece of history
Some £££ sat there , great video
Amazing video 👍
Top find mate, looking forward to part two! This rare beast needs to be rescued!
Brilliant content Stu 👌 it must be worth 30k just sitting there ! She needs to be back on the road at any expense 🎉
Not in that Knick ,motocross n buggies just bought perfect example .for 30 k and a few others Clio mclaren,42 k ,etc mint
@@Crosshatch1212have you got a channel like pls mate
If it was an rs 200 maybe.
Bit of weekend work 😊
He wouldn't get anywhere near 30k for it in that nick. Needs a fortune spent on it
best youtuber ever
edit
ty for the
We need as many parts to this until we see it back on the road 👍🏾
Glad it's found a nice home 🏡 😌
This definitely needs saving ASAP
There is so many classics out there that needs bringing back
Modern motors just don't have the desirability 60s 70s and 80s have in my opinion
Keep it going stoksey
Poor Cossie, of all the people it could have ended up with it ended up in the hands of a lazy hoarder. My neighbour is a hoarder, they are just the worst people to live next door to, luckily his plot of land is tiny so he can't do much damage, but I have to look at his rubbish tip every single day.
A truly great vlog mate..
This needs a full series from start to finish finding it laying there neglected to you driving it on the road fully restored.
Keep up the great work brother
AWESOME VIDEO 👏👏👍👍 CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT VIDEO.
AND IF IT GETS AUCTIONED OR REPAIRED... YOU NEED TO FOLLOW UP TOO.
GREAT CONTENT 👍👍👌
24:54 Now that's a proper spider chilling by the door latch on the far left side of the screen.
I was scrolling through the comments to see if i was the only one who saw this monster haha. I guess not😅
Seems crazy having a diesel sierra in the shed bud the cosworth in the bushes 😮 awesome video as always bud ❤
yeah what a retard
Can’t wait for part 2! Forever making great content Stokez. Looking forward to it
Great memories sitting in my friends cozzies and RS turbos, I was too much of a pill head to afford them, so I had to settle with an XR2 😂
Great vid stu,I hope the owner makes the right choice and doesn’t leave it sitting there to die any longer .
Love these type of videos mate! You're in your element!! Keep it going pal
Put a positive wire to the fuel pump from the battery and redirect it. It will start it’s the fuel pump underneath the car at the back. My dad has a rs500 and the fuel pump used to always be temperamental after a few months start let alone a few years 👌🏼
Stokzeeeeee my man 👊
Unbelievable....RS COSWORTH left to decompose.... should have been put in the garage 🙄
Thanks for the content brother... stay safe 🙏
Great video Stu what a classic cos worth definitely needs to be restored hope you get it running soon
An amazing find stu ,that car definitely needs to be saved and restored. Great video mate cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
The lenghts that some owners go to. To stop their cosworth's from being stolen
I grew up with with fords with my dad, lotus cortinas, Mexicos, RS 2000's ect, my mates had cossies, I owned MK2 s and a series1 RS turbo when I belonged to the RS owners club, to see this guy have this parked away like this to the elements us heartbreaking, he said he's got a turbo diesel sierra in the shed, that should of stayed out side and the Cossie in the shed at least it would of kept dry and preserved more, can't get my head around that one. It's needs a good home and be restored. Even in its bad state it's still worth money, such a shame. Great video stu.
Great memories Craig. I'm Ford through and through and I got that from my dad as well😊❤
Great video Stu . That cossie needs to be saved now rather than later . You need to do a full story on this car until it is back on the road again . Looking forward to next video . Stay safe keep up the great work
There’s some moneys worth on that drive 😱
What a shocker,no excuse a sad man,!
Who in their right mind leaves a car like that just dumped like that ? Very sad and he is no way a car lover.
If he wasn’t a car lover he wouldn’t have the cars he does.
Circumstances change and you have no idea what has happened over the years to warrant his decisions. Don’t be so quick to judge people
I have nightmares about the state of a car I've not owned for nearly 8 years.
How could you leave a Cosworth out in the open like that?
Exactly
Because it's fucked and the owner is a skint hoarder.
WOWWW FORD SIERRA COSWORTH!!!
Trying to start it like that after 10years is a bit naughty.
@@ImStokze No disrespect intended or inferred. Would have been good content to see. I guess most of the relics you find are way gone and so its not the usual type of thing you film. I enjoy the channel. BTW hear about the Rover project cars outside the buildings there now?
How do people live like this? His garden is like a scrapyard.
Wow what a fantastic RS and a fantastic video again looking forward to your next video 💯💯💯💯👍
Great video stu ans good of him to share this with us still crazy keeping it outside.
Dude, your videos are incredible.
It's really cool to see them on the weekend to clear out a little. Here in Brazil we don't have anything like your channel.
Do all the oldies here remember the old school "Clifford Alarms" 😂 man the immobiliser made me think of it 🤣👍🏻
This cozzie deserves to be saved .
There's a ton of work in it no doubt but what a car !
Real raw footage just as it is , well done brilliant content for the channel absolutely 👍👍👍
i owned an RS Cosworth, white, beautiful Whale Tale...........some barsteward nicked it...........loved that car.......to see this car in such a state is just heart breaking for me
Never try to start a car that’s been sitting for years …
You Do more damage to the car !!
Great find though !!!👏👏👏
Morning stu great video mate thanks for all your efforts to bring great content 👍
Great video Stu love this content thanks for sharing mate
What a find I love Saturday mornings after a night shift at work great video mate 👍
No. . . 😊. No. J. Nah n. . B. jn. 😮ho. kvv vvvvmmmm😊mmmmmmmm. B. 😊😊😊😅😅😅😅😊😊
Bet the neighbours love his front junkyard.😂😂
That drive way is massive , great video nice one stu 👊
Great vid👍
Bloody brilliant
Brilliant vid, cheers to Nathan as well
The amount of abandoned houses with land you've seen, Put a bid on one and make it into a base for restoring these golden gems. You have a great community that will help you. DO IT! you wont XxX love your work.
Great video bud.
I kinda know the area by the roads.
Many years ago about 8 years I picked a car up from a chap who lived in the middle of nowhere but 2 min from the sea.
And in his barn which was bloody massive sat these cosworths.
And loads of land rovers.
It's mad how people horde things and let them rot away.
Shame buy it is his car to fo with as he wants.
Parts alone it's worth a absolute fortune.
Keep up the good work 👍👍
And that dash in the centre console brought back some memories my dad had a Sierra Ghia
The little pic of the car with the doors open.
Loved it 😍
Hands down not laffed that much in ages hahahahaha
Really enjoyed this one mate 👌
Another great video stu hope to see this COSSIE saved and on the roar again
Only found your channel today mate, love the style 👍 nice and raw, straight to the point
Nothing but amazing content coming from u stu love the adventures u go on mate❤
The video is 30 minutes long it’s was posted 17 minutes ago.
Explain how you’ve watched the hole thing, to comment: nothing but amazing content!
This is why i will never understand Ford people, keeps a diesel sierra in a dry garage but a rare Cosworth outside to rot, triggering stupidity is an understatement. I'm glad you're saving it!
Amazing that these exist like this - absolutely all over the place as well!
Considering that black cossie sold at auction not too long ago for almost £500.000k this has to be worth £50k as is, such a shame it’s been sat there rotting away for 7 years 😢 great video Stu and I really hope this one ends up back on the road where it belongs ❤
Worse thing you could do is turn it over! You can scratch the bore with seized or broken piston rings.
Such a shame it’s been left so long, it needs a complete rebuild but what a find.
If he wants help getting that Cosworth back on the road drop me a message!
Love that stu! Can’t wait for part 2 ❤
What a little beauty stu. That needs a nut and bolt restoration and to be cherished. Shame it was not put in a garage to preserve it.
Look forward to seeing part 2
Oh my god his garden is my heaven
Fascinating!!!!!!!
I remember these!
presume stolen until proven otherwise!
they were a great car but the car thieves LOVED them
have a great day :)
Bet the next door luv him as the garden like a jungle and vehicles dumped every where how can you leave a cosworth out to rot for years 😮😡 that wants alot of work be rotten under it all wrong to leave it there like it but looks like he got alot of fords projects not finished shocking would luv to have any one of them problem is old fords are shocking money now good find stu be interesting to see the rest of the videos mate
If that was my neighbour i woukd be having words to at least hire a gardner what a mess
To right I would do as well nothing wrong with haveing a few cars if you going to do them up and not have loads of projects and not finish one of them and sit there to rot I've love to have my old fords back MK1 fiesta super sport and mk3 xr3 escort but they was not worth alot back then shocking how much they have gone up could not afford one now
@@petergrinnell2500 totaly agree i had a xr3i in white wish i kept it bit we all just move on and dont realise they will go up a crazy amount shame realy but it is what it is
@@flippingcarsrepairs very true can't even afford a rotten one as welding don't bother me as been doing that for 25 years then u get a bloke got a few fords projects not finished just sat there but would want every pound for them if he even sold them but fair play to him be some moneys worth wat ever condition the cars got to give him that
Nice find , im going to lookforward to part 2.
Fuel pump earths was notorious on them badboys too 👍
Also… who’s going to be responsible when the timing belt goes twang…. I wouldn’t be trying to start it !
That’s a find and a half👍❤️
Wow great vid stu and thanks to your new m8 2
So he erected that shed after parking it up.....cant see any other way he squeezed it into that space.......
Probably needs fresh fuel.
Driven in the gap, them sheds look like they have been there years
Ohhh lovely Cossie would love to own it . Wish it's out on the road where it belongs stu ....looking forward to tomorrow too
