I recently acquired information about this game and its development thanks to a higher up at EA UK. -The game was being developed whilst the movie was in production. Warner Bros had creative control over the game and whatever was deemed unnecessary during filming or if there script rewrites, had to be reflected upon in the game. The game actually uses an earlier draft script from near production phase for its story. They still had to abide by producers fulfillments. -The reason why Halle Berry, Lambert Wilson, Sharon Stone and Benjamin Bratt didn't provide their voices for the game was because of production schedules being so short, so they had to go with sound alikes. Hence why she's only heard in the main menu and Level 1. -You were originally supposed to kill enemies as opposed to knocking them into the environment which I found in an early trailer. That environment aspect was chosen as they thought it would work better for gameplay and could open more opportunities. -Whilst they tried to polish the game as best as they could, more issues kept happening and they had a imminent release date so they had to rush it. It was in development for 9 months. They did get to see the movie and had fun. -They really enjoyed working on the game despite its poor reception. They rebounded and made the Harry Potter games, so good for them.

The voice acting thing was better handled in the Italian dub. Cause the italian voice actress for Catwoman was just one and of course voiced both Halle and Jennifer's lines

It's like making a right handed person use something intended for left handed persons. At least the game developers should've given multiple control schemes like Resident evil 4 did.

Toridori he was in 'Dahmer' 2 years before Catwoman. It was a low budget movie, but he was fucking incredible in it. (It's apparently free to watch on UA-cam, btw)
The Ape Escape games have the R1 button as the jump button and the four action buttons just equip different gadgets. Also, it makes perfect sense why movie based games use scenes from the movie. Animation is very difficult to do especially 3D animation. I know, 3D animation makes me want to rip my hair out all the time. It is a lot of work to perfect the characters and then it has to be rendered which takes several hours. It would save them a lot of time to just use scenes from the movie. That is why a lot of games from the mid 90's such as Star Wars Rebel Assault II and Disruptor used live action cutscenes. I also think Seymour Skinner looked better in that Catwoman costume than Halle Berry did.

Please do a review of either Tarzan ps1 or Tarzan untamed on the ps2. All I remember when I played it on ps2 was that the vines during a chase level was so bad I would go through the vines. The croc level was pretty weird with the hit boxes as well, I’m sure it’ll make a great video and can’t wait to hear what you have to say about it. Great work Tori keep it up!👍
I’ve always loved the movie 🤷🏻♂️ and the game is a tedious garbage heap, but I also enjoyed it 😂 I miss when we used to get platform games for every major Hollywood movie.

I think they address it by saying she's one of many Catwomen, and Selina Kyle does technically appear in the film in the form of a photo. So Selina does exist in that universe but she's a different Catwoman altogether. :D
Do you want to better EA DC game? try Batman: begins: the game on PS2 GameCube and Xbox. My personal recommendations recommend the PS2 version. But that version (and only that version.) has a very distracting blur affect if your brightness is up to high so you really don’t like that play the gamecube version.
It's weird, they're nice in some places and atrocious in others. The environments (even if they are brown and muddy) don't look too bad, but the people are naff. 😂
on the topic of reused voices syberia 3 was criminal for this literally 90% of the male characters were voiced by mike polluck who is know as the voice of eggmans from the sonic games.

I don't know why They changed Catwoman's Name what was wrong with Selina Kyle? I know that Selina Kyle is A Burglar but Her Name sounds like A Serial Killer
While I never played the game, I do remember something relating to it When I was in my early teens, I would sometimes ask stores if they were willing to part with their promotional material when they were done with it, resulting in me actually building up a nice little collection. However, one time I was handed a huge standee from the Catwoman game that couldn't be folded in any way without breaking it. Didn't really care about the game but I still decided to take it... But the trip home almost felt like a big walk of shame with the looks I got and the bus ride was especially difficult... Yeah, I pretty much instantly regretted it xD I never even got any use out of it... Not that I can even imagine what kind of use one could get out of it anyway xD Curse my compulsive hoarding xD I do remember a lot of TV programs covering the game back in the day as well but seeing as none of them were favorable towards the game in any way, I decided to put my money to better use.. Like a Winrar license or something..

@@ToridoriGaming I sadly had to get rid of some of the promotional stuff during my last move but it was mostly the really big standees that I had no attachment to, like a Wolfenstein, Call of Duty, Quantum of Solace and yes the scandally dressed Catwoman one, which was actually the largest of them all xD I still have plenty of standees though but they are from the games I actually care more about, like Majora's Mask 3D, Pokémon Sun & Moon, stuff like that. And I probably have enough large posters rolled up to cover every inch of my walls 5 times over xD Even though I've collected so much, I am extremely picky with what I actually want to have up for show. It sometimes feel like I live in a game store or museum xD I guess I could always try and take a few new pics of some of the stuff. The Majora one is probably my favorite. So colorful and beautifully put together :3 I generally love when there is a lot of things to look at in a picture.

Yeah, this game is cat vomit. The film is cat litter. Its weird that Halle Berry, Sharon Stone and Lambert Wilson gave their likenesses to the game but don't voice themselves. Moe Szylack and Jason Bourne?! Wow. Even early footage of the game looks better than what we got. This screams rushed development. Note: In an animation reel I found, the detective actually had Benjamin Bratts likeness at one point. I'm not sure why it was changed. You were actually able to kill enemies originally based on the first ever trailer but it was changed for no reason.

Yeah, this game is cat vomit. The film is cat litter. Its weird that Halle Berry, Sharon Stone and Lambert Wilson gave their likenesses to the game but don't voice themselves. Moe Szylack and Jason Bourne?! Wow. Even early footage of the game looks better than what we got. This screams rushed development. Note: In an animation reel I found, the detective actually had Benjamin Bratts likeness at one point. I'm not sure why it was changed. You were actually able to kill enemies originally based on the first ever trailer but it was changed for no reason.
I doubt the guards were unhappy with cat woman's ass being in there face tbh. :)
I suppose not, certainly worse ways to go!

@@ToridoriGaming Yes its actually quite fun. There are some mini games/optional challenges that pad out the game, but overall its pretty good in my opinion.
Catwoman is a guilty pleasure movie but I like it . I hate the game though.
