They aren’t Barbers , they are Launderettes
Money launderettes at that
Exactly
Where I live I use an excellent Turkish barber. The attention to detail and skilled grooming is exemplary. Guy who often cuts my hair is actually Albanian and is a real pro.
@@JoseLeonMusica you mean good at grooming kids
Drug dealers must launder their profits, as exemplified in the TV series "Breaking Bad". Claim your profit comes from a small business. With a retail shop or a restaurant, the HMRC will see a disparity between your claimed profits and the stock you've bought. Better to open a barber's shop. No goods exchanged. Do three haircuts a day, claim you've done 300. The tax man will accept that's where your £1,000,000 annual profits came from.
Well said
HMRC tell their Tax Inspectors to avoid looking at ethnic minority businesses for fear ofbeing branded wacist.
Spot on bud. Cash business to launder money. No one says a word in case its classed as racist. Simple. Boycott all these foreign businesses.
@@iamliamt Please repeat this sentiment on future videos on this subject.

Great until UA-cam bans you.
You can also bring them into the country by claiming they are barbers. Charge them a fee, then they go to work doing deliveries. They then get citizenship and the money is washed via the shop.
I used to get my haircut in a Lebanese barbers near Queensway, nearly 30 years ago. He was a older guy. He was only half busy. He eventually gave up. He wasn't making enough money.
The expenses on a barbers are rent, business rates, electricity, heating, supplies, book keeper or accountant.
It absolutely beggars belief how one town can have so many foreign barbers , how are the government not interested in why so many barbers are not only in close proximity but are always empty.
Thanks Liam for the video.
Money laundering.
You're welcome Hells, was up at 4 and saw the story so took a walk to Reading to go see just how many I could find..
@@iamliamt That's what I call dedication.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
Not only are the government not interested in shutting down these obvious money laundering/drug operations, many actually get grants to start small businesses to begin with.
The government brought them in that's why. They're serving their purpose which is to help raise the crime rate and add to the chaos, not to mention they're here to help with the demographic change. If you flood a place with massive numbers of immigrants all from different cultures them you'll have the various groups fighting amongst themselves and pointing fingers at each other. Then they won't be looking at the real crimes and the real criminals who are the same people pushing all of this. Every single one of us, including the recent immigrants, have a common enemy but "they" are fully aware of how views of race an in group preferences are wired in the most primitive parts of our brains. That means neural patterns involving them often totally bypass the prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain which makes rational decisions. The part related to race doesn't. It's more automatic so it takes a great deal of effort to overcome it.
In my northern town my local native white English barber (who lived in my town all his life) had been my barber for around 10 years after his rent was doubled (about 12 years ago) he was forced off the main busy street to a smaller shop a few streets back onto the back streets in less of a prime position. He was then forced out again with unfair iuncreasing rents that left him unable to run his barbers as a viable business that had been running for around 15 years prior to the massive rent increases. His original barber shop on the front is now a Turkish barbers & the smaller shop in a less prime location is a Pakistani taxi rank. There are enormous consequences for all this unchecked mass immigration from all (mostly non compatible cultures). White native UK/Europeans are being dispossessed at an alrming rate, whose ancestors built, paid for, fought & died for this country & ieverything is just being given away to people from countries 4000+ miles away.

I used to teach English to Turkish ‘refugees’. They all freely admitted they were economic migrants. Some had been smuggled in lorries. They were outraged that they had to pay their own bus fare to my class. They literally thought everything would be free once they got here. They all had council flats. The men refused to learn English, mostly because the majority of teachers are female. So the men hung out in coffee shops all day smoking.
Very suspicious looks like money laundering
I bet you won't teach anymore
@johndaniell887 they won't learn. They're not interested in your language they have their own. It will come to the point that you or your children will have to learn their language. The same happens in Poland, when fukrainians have no desire to learn Polish and ask polish people to learn fukrainian. Imagine the entitlement.
Most of those refugees are Kurdish #pkk supporters, not Turkish. They tell you that they are Turkish but when they see a Turk, they say they are Kurdish. They have every opportunity in Turkey and they have no reasons to be accepted as refugees.

For younger people theres a pretty cool vinyl and taco place on Shirley high street that you wouldn't expect to be there considering the students are generally elsewhere and I hear the Portugese deli is good, but other than that and the gym and Supermarket I agree as a young man.
We have the same problem on a really nice high street (where I grew up) in North West Bristol. A Turkish (cockroach) barbershop opened when there was already 3 well established barbers and surprise surprise me and my based mates never ever saw ONE single customer. It then closed (they must’ve felt too suspect) and re opened as a trashy corner shop which also never ever has any customers. There’s always the same car parked outside with the same cockroach inside, I think he’s the runner and sometimes more of them turn up in brand new Mercedes and BMW. Last week I saw 2 teenagers go down the ally way next to the shop and they came out looking like they’d just scored some drugs, it’s all just too obvious so I will report it soon when I gather more witness’s so I can build a case for the useless police. North west Bristol has seen a ridiculous demographic shift over last 5 years, it’s INSANE!! Crime and that feeling of being over crowded has increased, our politicians are disgusting traitors.

We need more turkish barbers and turkish restaurants. My local high street only has 12 of them. Mind you that was last week. Could be 15 or 16 by now.
It's in every single city.
My town has one main shopping street with 3 or 4 smaller ones branching off it. There are only 25,000 people here. There are already 4 of these places in our town!!
It’s not just the barbers it’s the cafe’s as well 👎🏻
Well I live in the South Wales valley and if you think Reading is overcrowded with so called “Turkish Barbers” come and see the dozens we have. I have a friend who is Turkish and lives in Turkey. On a recent visit to my area he visited some of these shops and found that they are not Turkish at all. They are mostly Iraqi, Iranian and Syrian. Work that one out. The Police don’t appear to be doing anything about this.
And mob phone shops...
A "barber shop" is the perfect front for laundering cash. And the source of the cash drugs, prostitution etc etc. One of these "Turkish Barbers" set up recently near me in Plymouth almost next door to a well established English barber - I was surprised because there's almost certainly not enough local business for two barber shops - conclusion, there's something very fishy about it.
I live in a very small town, some locals call it a village, and we had two barbers. Now we have a new one, the third which is Turkish. This barber has the most extravagant decor the town has ever seen. The throughput is such, that I suggest, will mean it will take fifty years to recover the set-up costs (from hair-cutting)
our daft polititions give them up tp £50,000 for setting up new business
We possibly live in the same location....you forgot to mention the BMW's half parked up on the pavement!
It’s also in every town in Devon and Cornwall, even the quiet villages that don’t use them, somehow they are still operating
A friend has noticed how many "small businesses" open and close quite quickly, it's almost as if they're getting grants of something.
Yeh but you would have to pay those grants back 🤣
I was born in Reading, and left with my family for North Yorkshire in 2014. It's almost unbelievable, that the sewer we left, has collapsed into further multicultural degradation. Most days I pass one of the TWO recently opened gaudy ‘Turkish Barbers’ in our very small (and traditional) Dorset Town, when shopping there. I have noticed that if a customer is having his haircut (their prices undercut our other Barber, a local who has provided good service for years at acceptable prices) the haircut is usually being observed by another young male ‘trainee’. Who no doubt, after half an hour’s ‘induction’, will be shipped off to some other Town to ‘man’ a newly opened barber shop, where funding is all too all to easily found from sources unquestioned, by Landlords desperate to rent their empty properties.
All these young men seem similar in appearance, but I’m certain that each time I witness this, it’s a different young ‘trainee’. No opportunity given of course for females or local/indigenous male ‘trainees’. Oh no.
Similarly with young men from the local ‘Car Wash’. It would seem that ‘Laundering’ is not exclusively for cash, but an unchallenged way of integrating surplus male ‘stock’ into the ‘system’.
The same thing happened decades ago (and maybe is still happening?) with Curry Houses across the Country. By employing exclusively foreign ‘staff’, who were easily absorbed into the UK ‘system’, using questionable employment practices, to say the least.
I asked the guys in my local barbers whether they were selling drugs and he said that here were so many because the young men coming over worked for tips and so were cheap as hell.
Traditional 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂, wtf does that mean, candlestick maker? Wheelwright? Cobbler? .......or white ???
I am 76 years old and my hair is very thin so it doesn't take a lot of cutting, however, it is difficult to find a reasonably priced barber these days. It takes about 5 minutes to cut my hair as there isn't a lot to cut but the prices they ask for this is way to much.

Little fact or as I know it. At the beginning of the vid you showed the Welcome to Reading sign. There are several of them and they were all made originally with arched curved tops from one piece of formed steel section. The manufacture of the signs was at an extortionate cost due to the complexities of bending the profiles. From memory a sum of near £80,000 was mentioned in my ear, and that was decades ago. The council then became nervous that the money was wasted on such expensive signs, or so i was told, so they cut off the arch tops and dumped them. It was around the same time that certain councillors had their collars felt and did porridge for some type of money discrepancies or the like.
So there you have it... wherever you look there is something not right.

A friend of mine owned a women's hairdressers. One day he got an unannounced visit from some VAT inspectors. They had worked out how much shampoo was used for each hair wash and he was using far more than would be correct for the number of customers he had. They therefore suspected he was under declaring the full amount of money he was receiving. He eventually discovered one of his staff was stealing the shampoo and hence the discrepancy.
The point is that in the past the tax authorities used to keep a pretty close eye on small businesses , I wonder if this is still the case.
Its not just towns we have 3 in our village. Nobody ever in !!! Surely authorities or councils are aware. (Not mentioned police because they are nothingness)
In my town it now seems to be these 'dessert"' shops selling cakes and milkshakes that are the latest front. Never any customers, a couple of cakes on show and only open 2 or 3 nights a week. Blatant front for laundering.
Same in Exeter, Devon. Expensive motors parked outside. Employees trimming each other’s hair. Perfectly legit. 😂
It's a racket for money laundering, shame on local authorities/landlords/CID not checking/verifying where identities of these criminals.
It's the same in Weymouth. About 6 T barbers. About 3 opened up in the last few years. Trowbridge also the same. About 6 of them in the town centre.
Same all over Scotland. I would t be surprised if there was a Turkish barber at John o’groats. They are everywhere. In every town, and now appearing in small villages.
As a local, thank you for exposing this. I always use London street barbers, as I knew Mo's is a bad egg. The staff are always hanging outside on their phones when I'm doing the school run.
D rug laundering, if i can work it out, why not the old bill.
Wife’s mates husband is Turkish. Works in one of the many barbers in town. Gets paid in cash, no tax paid. Gambles it all away leaving silly English woman to pick up the short. Marvellous . I think we should let more settle here, we need more and obviously more deliveroo riders. They enrich England and contribute so much to the economy
Sheesh Chris!
I still believe they're a front for illegal activities and i've always thought that about the Kebab shops where I live also.
I’m from Reading and was brought up just around the corner from numbers 2 and 3 in the video. I haven’t been back to Reading for years and I’m glad I haven’t bothered. I left as soon as I could and it looks like it’s gone even further downhill since then.
I really liked this vid. I live in Reading so really looking forward to the Oxford Road upload when it’s posted. I’m now a new subscriber. I travel the Oxford Rd most days. My wife and I never fail to be saddened by the state of it. We recall when it was a place you could walk down. I remember many years ago when I first drove on the North and South circular roads in London and witnessed the multicultural nature of the businesses there. Never seen the like until then. The Oxford rd mirrors that.
In essence there is no pride or respect for surroundings. . Many shops have built on to the frontage making the pathway narrower, forcing you nearer to the constantly overflowing bins.
Simply driving down there is an experience. Dodge the inevitable U- turners, watch for Deliveroo riders on both near and off side ( cyclists often no handed while on their mobiles). No need to stop at red lights or have lights on at night of course.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Liam sees another dozen barbers, some displaying cash only signs. . Note too the several Afro-Caribbean hair/weave/ braid suppliers. A few of them.
The council and the Police have no interest in upholding standards, we have no hope for our town. Unfortunately I don’t think we have great hope for our nation.
Then you may know we also have a shop down Oxford road (Faded - as shown in the video slandering our business and tarnishing us with some crazy allegations and completely false narrative).
We have worked hard for years to build the business.

You should probably do a little more research before trying to slander peoples business’s.
Especially as you started this video with some clearly researched ‘facts’.
I am one of the owners of Faded. With no relevance whatsoever apart from in response to the context of this video, myself and my business partner are both British and born here in Reading. We have a relatively big and very diverse team of barbers, and again with little relevance but solely in response to this video, that none of which are Turkish.
We have numerous shops and have every right to build a business in our hometown where we have worked for years to learn our craft and build a reputation to progress to this position in our business. Infact we have every right to open our barbershops wherever we feel is right for our business for that matter.
We have an exceptional reputation as some of the best barbers around, going by our ratings and customer feedback, reviews and so on. (Which can all be found in a matter of minutes online on various platforms had you bothered)
We have been operating for almost 10 years, and have a client database of 14k people. (A far cry from your ‘empty with no clients’ claim)
We have run community events for local residents to enjoy and benefit from.
Just search Faded Fun Day on youtube and you will see the footage from our events.
We take on work experience students and offer apprenticeships and training to which our immediate community and youth benefit from directly.
We sponsor a youth football team and provided kits for a few of their age groups.
We (and this is the most damaging allegation from your video you posted with little to no prior research) certainly are not a front for anything, we are a legitimate business with good intentions and do our bit for our community!
We are fully booked majority of the time and it would only take 3-4 minutes to research and realise that. Infact had you of googled us, our ratings, reviews and online presence would have told a whole different story to the one your promoting.
Please in future leave us out of your videos if you have nothing positive to input and refrain from attempting to tarnish our hard work and reputation. I mean, even the branding and appearance of our shops doesn't remotely shout ‘Turkish barbers’.
Do better. Do something positive. Something beneficial for the community. You might feel better for it, because we certainly do.
Thanks.
i don't think your response will do you any favours at all but i do see you do more of an urban street look as for me i'm bald so couldn't style anything if i wanted to. There is a problem with middle eastern business fronts for dodgy activities though you have to admit @@fadedurbangroominglounge2406
All got flash expensive cars out the back, 'there's money in that thar barbering' .................or PERHAPS NOT !!
I bet they spend their down time ensuring their tax returns are accurate, and that all the cash payments are fully accounted for.
You know Liam it pains me to say this but iam glad iam BALD 😢
Ive got 13 near me ,in a mile radius
I live in Sandhurst Berkshire, we have a new one opened just before Christmas, nr bye Canmberely has 2 recently opened and now 1 has opened near my business in Milford nr Godalming Surrey, everywhere I go they appear out of nowhere !!
Seems like they can have the electric on 24/7. AND stacks plugged in. Strange that.
Yeah, but would I dare rename my barber shop 'English Barber'? A call from the Gestapo would follow, methinks
Same in Stratford Road , Shirley , Hall Green , Birmingham
i live in a small south yorkshire town, probably a dozen turkish barbers and same amount of chinese shops doing nails and eyebrows
The elephant in the room really is that if there was no demand for 'products' from within the general public then there would be NO need for the supply. When are people going to link the two and take the problem BACK TO SOURCE . NO DEMAND THEN NO SUPPLY.. SIMPLE REALLY !
You are referring to people who are thick, out of it, not community-minded and far too wrapped up in themselves to bother! Also, these turn a blind eye to criminality as they themselves aid & abet.
In Frome we have Turkish Barber shops now --- was there always this demand for such in the UK ?
They're everywhere, our small town has about 5 of them and the road going into the city there is one every 200 m or so. The must get reduced rates or something, that's' what I heard.
Here in the Rhondda they are everywhere all looking glitzy and new, there's up to 3 in some high streets.
We have many in Glasgow and the ones I pass on foot always seem empty. With these so called barbers lazing about or using their phones.
In the village near me a charity shop closed and reopened as a dodgy barbers. My dad said that was 8 now!
The government are just letting the country rot!
The nearest one to me the creeps who work there put a chairs outside to watch the school girls walk past when they finish school this country needs to wake up now
Criminals create store fronts to hide criminal activities.
These are Kurds escaping Turkey, Syria and Iraq.
Most "Turkish" barbers I chat to are from Syria, Tunisia,Iraq, Albania, Kosovo ,Algeria.
Only ever met one genuine Turk and he tried to charge me £50 for a short back and sides.
Hi Liam,
Please visit Dunstable high street.
In Plymouth there are ten in one street of 40 shops, plus others around town 😮
Same here in my area of Leeds. From watching other UA-camrs, they are actually money laundering rich peoples money Drug’s money may be involved, but it is said wealthy people are using the UK to keep their money safe
