What is the latest dive gear at BOOT 2020? At the end of January the diving community meets in Duesseldorf at BOOT #bootduesseldorf, the biggest watersport fair in the world. We have followed the call and visited BOOT 2020, using the opportunity to check out some of the hottest innovations at this years show.
While there were too many to mention, we chose to potrait three companies which in our opinion really brought some fresh wind to the industry, demonstrating not only technical expertese but also proved to have an outlook for marine ecology and the ever growing problem of human pollution.
    00:00 Start
1:10 Waterhaul - Fins and glasses made from recycled fishing nets
3:00 Trshbag - The Snorkel and Dive bag to collect trash
4:40 O'Dive Azoth Systems - Portable doppler bubble measuring system
    6:15 Whats coming next
Waterhaul is based in Cornwall and is a social enterprise concentrating on We intercepting plastic from our oceans and transforming it into high-quality, functional products for adventure and ‘symbols for change’.Check their website at: waterhaul.co/ or visit them on instagram at waterhaul_co. Go and get Yourself some of thei sunglasses or fins!
They are really pretty cool :)

Bali based company Trshbag also decided to actively do something to takle the topic of ocean pollution by engaging those of us who are nearest to the water. They produce a leg-bag from recycled material which surfers and divers can use to collect plastic while carrying out their favourite sports. There are two versions, big and small which can be found on their website at: trshbg.com/en/shop/
Like the claim says - every surfer and diver an ocean cleaner, so join the movement.
Last but not least, straight from France, a truly technical innovation which took the industry by storm. Located in the heart of the Technopôle de le Mer, on the site of the Pôle de Compétitivité Mer Méditerranée in Ollioules, Azoth Systems is an engineering and service company specializing in hyperbaric exposure safety which has developed the O’Dive technology.
By introducing O'Dive Azoth Systems www.azoth-systems.com/en/home/, took a great step towards insuring dive safety for both recreation as well as technical and commercial divers
Azoth Systems has developed an innovation that - for the first time in the world - allows scuba divers to personalise their diving practice by taking into consideration the gas microbubbles detected in their venous system after diving.
