Eight months locked in paradise, on a tiny island in the Maldives? What was it like ... well ... an incredible experience!
During 2020 I have been literally locked in paradise for eight months with about 200 other people on a tiny island in the Maldives. I went to the Maldives to work as a scuba instructor but then came COVID and changed everything.
Many people have asked me, what these eight months of paradise lockdown on a tiny island have been like, so I decided to make this video and answer some of the most common questions I received. Eight months of lockdown on a paradise island were not easy but this one should help to answer some of the questions, tidy up some of the preconceptions, as well as celebrate a really incredible time.

@@WetSouls we’re good - moved house 2 weeks ago down to the south coast so can’t complain. Yeah, Uk is in a right pickle! Worst state now that at the height of the first lockdown last April. Don’t think we will be going anywhere for months!

Thanks The Islands name which now hosts a 5* resort is Machchafushi. You can Google it and if You get the chance, I highly recommend a visit there for a nice and relaxing holiday and of course some great diving. 🏝 🤿 💙
