I just did my first cruise two weeks ago and I'm going back but this time on this very same route and ship. Can't wait!

You don’t know how lucky you were with all that sunshine. Being able to see the tops of the mountains and wildlife. We went the first of September and it rained or sprinkled almost every day. Saw no wildlife. Loved you video.

We just completed a wonderful cruise on Koningsdam. Great food, great entertainment, great service. The Rollingstone,s Rock room & duling pianos kept us busy throughout the night. Special mention to the head chef Eric, and food servers Santi & Ningning. Also thanks to our room attendant Indra for making our journey so comfortable.

What a lovely glimpse at a wonderful week in Alaska! Appreciate the detail of accessibility for those in a wheelchair.

Well done - I have cruised several times from Vancouver to Alaska . The sail away out of Vancouver is awesome . One thing I would like to add - the last day returning to Vancouver is cruising down the inside passage between Vancouver Island and the main land of B.C. - stunning scenery, very narrow channels in some areas and my most successful Orca sightings area. There are several pods living in this area and sightings can be close to the ship .

We took an Alaska cruise in 2017 and the bus tour in Skagway was the highlight for the reasons you stated. We plan on going back summer 2024.

I just checked them out and they look fabulous so I ordered a set of 4 for $10 Cdn funds. On my last cruise I had the paper tags HAL game me laminated and it cost me $14 , I could only use them once. So thanks so much. Your information nd tip was very helpful .

Traveling to Alaska in 2025, I want to see the glaciers on our way to Alaska, which balcony room should I book? Port or starboard? Thank you

We are going to this cruise next year August 2024. Do you recommend buying drink package? Is the unlimited ice cream included with the cruise? What excursion do you recommend?

i hope this is not to nosy to ask. but i see you hubby is in a wheelchair. you said you had to take a bus on one of you excursians. does the bus accomondage wheel charis??? i am no in a wheel chair. but i do have some mobility iss ure

Not nosy at all! 😊 The bus we took for the Yukon excursion was not wheelchair accessible, but my husband can walk very short distances, so he stored his wheelchair for that excursion. It was great for us because we got to see so many different places and scenery that my husband couldn’t get to otherwise. In Juneau, the Mendenhall Glacier was an excursion that did have a wheelchair accessible bus to transfer us. We booked that option directly through Holland America. I hope that helps!
