Nice reaction - this is my favorite DC movie - Zack Snyder deserves credit for his incredibly imaginative casting of all the icons in this pantheon, including Momoa - and for giving Wonder Woman the most awesome entrance of any superhero ever - but this movie was a real revelation re James Wan, who may have a Spielberg level sense of pop entertainment - I'm very excited to see the sequel to this

I loved this movie! Aquaman is unironically my favorite DC superhero, and I was so so happy to see him get a movie that took him seriously & showed how awesome he is. And it made a billion dollars!
Unfortunately, the upcoming reboot is true. They’re going to start the DC movie universe over with a new Superman movie in 2025. I am excited for that, too, but it is sad that we won’t have anymore movies with Jason Momoa as Aquaman.

I hope you react to the DC Animated Universe that's the greatest adaptation of the DC Universe. I don't get why reaction channels only react to the DCEU when the DCAU is the greatest thing to happen to the superhero genre like it's the peak of comic book adaptations.
I understand you watched The Flash before watching Aquaman? Aquaman was the movie to watch after Zack Snyder's Justice League.
Aquaman continues the DCEU, but The Flash pretty much erases the DC Extended Universe. Largely because the studio wanted to reboot these characters for no reason.
I think it just made a bigger mess. I liked where Zack's Justice League was going. Too bad we'll likely never see its continuation. -OG
I enjoyed this movie. A little cliche in plot, but im familiar with aquamans story. The visuals were great and the underwater animation was great.
Part human and part Aquaman? I'm sure you mean part human and part Atlantean. Lol. -OG
I'm actually happy they're gonna reboot the DCEU because then I don't have to watch the sequel for this movie, I would love to go watch it in theaters but I don't want to support Amber Heard so I'll patiently wait to watch at home, from what I've read Jason will continue with DC after the reboot but as another character, I *think* it was Lobo right? But yeah hopefully James Gunn can get things in order, I already don't like they booted Henry Cavill so they have to do a lot to win me over.

I know Aquaman 2 is coming out but I'm not excited for it. The studio had already changed it's course to rebooting the franchise and the quality of Aquaman 2 has suffered.
The studio made countless changes to it which is NOT a good sign. The director had come out and said at one point even he didn't know which version was actually coming out.
On top of that there is heat on the actress that plays Mera. This means she is hardly in the movie. Given the story that it is, they shouldn't have gone forward with it because I predict the story has greatly suffered as a result.
I'm sorry but you can't introduce a baby into the world and not have the bride of the King of Atlantis barely in it. Not when she was prominently in the first film. My opinion. -OG
Suicide squad definitely next!!
