    Japan has to fight heavy rain, snow, autumn leaves, sun bent curves, earth quakes, land slides, tsunamis etc and hundreds of tunnels but still on time, always. That’s amazing. I guess they have pressurised wagons otherwise the air pressure on ones ears would be unbearable.

    Japan has many earthquakes, so we developed a superconducting magnet that can levitate 10cm. The 10cm spacing allows it to absorb earthquake vibrations. It also absorbs vibrations while running, making it more comfortable than the Shinkansen. Like the Shinkansen, it is equipped with a system that detects P waves that arrive before an earthquake and automatically shuts off the power, making it possible to cut off the power and safely stop the train before an earthquake arrives.
    It will start running soon, so please come to Japan and experience the world of 500km/h.

      Planes travel faster because up high in the air there is less oxygen so less resistance. At 400 kmph it is like the train is pushing against a fruit cake the size of the front of the train. It needs a huge amount of power to push through. At flying hight the plane is pushing against fairy floss so needs less power.

    • @fourbypete
      @fourbypete 5 років тому +3

      @daAnder71 You are wrong ask any physicist. Planes fly faster because there is less oxygen. The reason they can't fly higher than 56000 feet is because the turbine engines on commercial airliners require a certain amount of oxygen to function thereby limiting the height jets can fly at. The air is dense on the ground because it has a greater concentration of oxygen and nitrogen than at 50000 feet.
