What new ICBM. US was to busy trying to figure out there border problems while other countries like Russia, North Korea and China made weapons that US wished it had.
@Gambit Odsey no it did not the minuteman 3 entered it`s last phase in 2017 with 400 units operational and of very high mobility they faster than the new rusian sarmat also the hypersonic missile vehicles are operational the only one that had problems was the arrw with the communication system but the vehicle functioned altough neither the rusian or chinese version of the scramjet are operational they all failed the tests because at that speed accuracy decreases considerably against moving targets which is their main purpouse
