Jim Carrey wasn't playing The Riddler as The Joker. Jack made jokes... perfect for The Joker. Jim made riddles... perfect for The Riddler. Jack is The Joker. Jim is The Riddler. "Surf's up, big kahuna!" Classic character. He was never suppose to be scary like The Joker was scary. The Riddler was suppose to be nuts, brilliant, perhaps funny and intimidating. Jim hits all of these marks. Bravo Jim!
"A gaggle, a swarm, a flock of freaking froys!" I seriously don't believe that line was on the script. Jim Carrey must have become possessed halfway into that scene by his hamminess and forced him to just muster up a collection of words in over-the-top manner not caring if they made sense or not. I love it :D

i can totally see johnny depp as the new riddler. with the hair and some facial expressions, jim carrey resembles him slightly in these scenes. But hopefully the new riddler wont be so wacky, just insane in a beautiful mind kind of way and with a lil' OCD.
