It’s neither slimy or soggy. Chicken parm isn’t supposed to be crispy. Seriously, eat fried chicken if you want crispy. I prefer covered in sauce and I’ve tried it the crispy way.

To make it *some type of meat* gets their house sauce, a healthy amount of their *speciality topping*, and then goes into the oven to look. Like. This. “Holy shit that cheese pull is insane!” This has to be on your devour list

But as soon as viewers start to notice that as an intentional feature and see the pattern too clearly it can become almost sickening. At least for me. I think creators need to be able to surprise viewers and break the rhythm they have created in new and interesting ways. After a while it starts to feel insincere or lazy

should try an teesside parmo, from england, flatten the chicken, flour, egg then bread crumb, fry it crispy, smother the top in bechamel, cover it in loads of cheese, get its nicely melted on top and enjoy. fkin delicious
White wine is nice for picatta, if you are making francese I suggest using sherry, been doing it at my place for 45 years. Much better for a thick rich sauce👍🏼
It should never be soggy and it’s incredibly hard to mess up. Seriously, I teach it to teenagers with literally 0 cooking experience as good meals to make on your own. If you really really are still struggling to shallow fry stick it on a cooling rack in the oven with a baking tray under it and finish it there.
@@AnarexicSumo i think you missed the problem at hand here. no matter how good you are at making a chicken cutlet, covering it in liquid will make it soggy eventually. it is a conceptually flawed recipe like poutine which just so happens to work for a lot of people anyway
@@v-ia Sure, except the chicken has to sit in that liquid for a lengthy period of time before losing the crusts crispness. Also, there are thousands of breaded meat recipes simmered in liquid and gravy, the texture isn't the indicator of the flavor. Furthermore, if you just broil to melt the cheese like he did here it was only under heat for under 2 minutes.
I would definitely go for the first one on this challenge but again I would love to try the second one on this and man I bet they are both so delicious and yummy but the first one I love cheese but the second one I really love how they presented it and oh my goodness they both look so good and I would love to have both of them every day
The second preparation looks appetizing cooked in butter and wine. First one is fried ( why) and to much sauce with processed cheese to actually have taste. But its all about personal choices
The chicken parm looks good but every Italian restaurant has it on the menu. Chicken frencese is a nice change. Chicken piccata is one of my favorite. I love those saltly capers in the lemon butter sauce.
