Forget about all that and focus more on the art, block out the noise and just create…sounds easy but it’s not, cos everybody wants to get good quick. As long as you’re reflecting critically and you’re intentional with your art you’ll improve rapidly. More grease
Brenden right. Live and you’ll get inspired. I was at a random neighborhood block party last night for Halloween and when I got home outlined the start of a block party horror story
either that or you can build up your art skill yourself, extensively plan out what you want for your story and build up a sizeable buffer of chapters. its more work but just look at what mangaka in japan are able to do (mostly) alone. and you have it even better, they have a tight schedule while you have all the time in the world, its best you use it
I have a question, I'm interested in someway job with script/storyboard for web toons, but how can i make contact with a studio like yours and how the process to show the story, get aproved work with them, and other intermediate process? It's necessary to have anteriorly professional works to or just indie comics do?
Please PLEASE answer this question 😢 What if your beloved craft got turn into a bad anime, for example blue lock season 2, would u be happy because of the money or sad about your craft being portray badly
Is it worth posting on webtoons as I hear they take your IP. I understand it is based on the contract you make with them. If so do you have to establish yourself with a smaller project to get a contract with them to make a profit?
@TheBookRant I believe it is based on the contract you sign. But some creators have lost some of their IP in the process! Gotta read the fine details!!! That is why I am not sure I would ever post there myself
@@iamninjacat its not webtoon in general, i hear its just for webtoon originals. so yea if youre on canvas they can do nothing to take your ip, but if they approach you to make your webtoon an original then beware
If u are a producer can u hire me up I need money 😢 I could a linear artist background artist( I can paint full anime anije background in extremely high quality) and I could do illustration if u are interested I can send u my portfolio
Silver. One question I do have is: is it better to script out an entire arc first then story board/make the chapters or go off of the general outline you created for that arc and script and draw each chapter as you go?
DEFINITELY the first one. if you do it as you go youll be scrambling to keep up and eventually end up leaving out things, forgetting things, and dragging it on so you can play catch up. the best stories go through multiple drafts script wise before actually being drawn.
A major plan I have is to improve my art to a point where i can get people to check out my webcomic based on purely the illustrations
you know i saw your vid and it is good art
Artist insecurity. His story skills are probably mid at this point@@YosefmulualemAmbachew

good plan, but remember that a good story and fluent character writing is what matters even more. the art is the lure and the story is the hook.
Level up your writing on the side🙏
Amazing❤i wish i can write a complex novel one day, like fantasy and dramatic romance. Stay focus.

You serious? Does that mean they can sell it and make an anime and give you nothing?

@ scary. I can see Amazon doing that one day for sure
@TheBookRant yeah! You really have to be smart with your stuff! I have debated even using PC docs or note taking apps as AI can just take stuff!

Fraud
ive learned a ton from brandon. definitely isnt a fitting thing to call him at all.
@@444WORLD he doesn’t draw he shouldn’t call himself a mangaka
@@A79163 theres tons of manga writers though
@@444WORLD they don’t go out there putting mangaka in their titles other know as writer
Every writer that works in manga calls themselves a mangaka. So that’s crazy lol
