The vegan prawn cocktail would also be good for those with allergies and probably a good introduction into vegan recipes. I’ve heard of bread pudding, but never bread and butter pudding. The addition of pears sounds great and that would be nice to try.
Had to tell you: I made a version of your steak and ale pie. A few changes: we are off starches at present. Solution: a sweet potato topping instead of a crust. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! I'm vegetarian (not vegan) but my daughter and her husband are carnivores - they loved it! I will certainly make it again - thank you for this gorgeous recipe!
