Wow what a beautiful sounding guitar. Props to McPherson again. I love seeing companies that partner with channels like yours that openly express love of music and God. keep it up guys
I have used a McPherson Carbon Fiber Touring Guitar for five years. I play in church and at outdoor worship services. It sounds great and rarely needs retuning with temperature changes.
I've tried 3 brands of CF guitars. Yes, they have amazing sound but I have not yet found anything in a small travel size guitar that beats the GS Mini by Taylor. CF guitars sound great, but they are missing a bit of that "something" that wood guitars give you in tone. But hey, if I could afford it, I'd buy one of these cuz they'd be fantastic cottage or camping guitars. In a pinch, you can use them as a paddle and you won't hurt them! ;-)
If this guitar had a 1 & 7/8 inch neck width, instead of 1 &3/4, it would be perfect (for me). It would then have the same neck dimensions as a full scale neck capoed at the second fret. As it is, my fingers feel to cramped down in open position. Hard to believe an eighth of an inch can make such a difference, but it does. I suggest any prospective buyer get their hands on one before purchasing. Love the tone, though.
Have you ever used the Tonewood amp? It attaches to the back of your acoustic guitar and vibrates the back to make the guitar the speaker. I love mine, no cables running across the floor
Hey Brian been following your channels for a few years was wondering how come you guys never got a Taylor guitar? I have one from a present and I loved Taylor’s ever since.
Hey Brian and Bradford! Have you guys heard of Orangewood guitars? A review or comments on what you guys think of their different models would be great! :D
and if your going to spend that much go ahead and knock yourself out and get the sable.. why pay that much for a travel, unless your Bradford and can afford it... or buy a taylor or martin :-)
Can I automatically win it since I’m smart enough to stay away from social media? 😂 jk nice sounding guitar. Different but nice. Guess I should have said most social media as UA-cam is technically social media.
I would say the same. I’ve been wanting a travel one for a while, and keep picking up the gs mini. It sound a lot bigger than most other 3/4 size bodies.
Playing one of these guitars its a whole different experience. I own a gs mini koa e and that thing is mah baby but this guitar is sonically on a whole nother level. They have one in my local guitar center and everytime i play im beyond blown away, it is by far the best travel guitar ive ever played!
I don’t understand this comment (or line of thinking). So if a company (McPherson in this case) wants to build the best example of a product that exists (a travel guitar in this case), they shouldn’t because the end result will be expensive? There are lots of affordable travel guitars. Then there is this. If you play them side by side it becomes obvious that you get what you pay for. If you wanted to buy the best (or say fastest) car that exists, it wouldn’t come cheap.

This is such a cool guitar I really like the sound of it!
Man, I live in AZ that would be amazing. I have been thinking about a carbon fiber guitar a lot because of the temp extremes here. Wood gets beat up

Wow that sounds awesome! A guitar like that will definitely bless someone 👏❤ thx guys for all you do.
Love you guys! Have a CEO-7 and was considering buying this guitar next!
Brian, I found the video. If they have a "Lefty" model, I'm saving for one.

Would either of you use this as your main acoustic?
I have used one as my main acoustic guitar for the past five years. I own a dreadnaught and the McPherson sounds better.
It sounds very similar to the bigger version. Awesome
May I ask what pick he is using?
Thanx guys

Looking to get myself a new guitar for around $500, do y'all have any recommendations? (Unless I win this one :) )
What is the size difference of this, the X7 Emerald and the Full Carbon Travel KLOS guitars?
Dude! How did you get Joey from Friends to do your video?
Great sound! Got one on the way :)
Good idea 😎
You guys mic'd it, is this Electric/Acoustic?
Yes they come with an LR Baggs Element installed.
Sweet acoustic axe !
Sounds nice. Good demo. "Stand In Your Love" at 2:40?
Mark Cummings yup :)
Hey Brian been following your channels for a few years was wondering how come you guys never got a Taylor guitar? I have one from a present and I loved Taylor’s ever since.
Alex Edmondson we typically showcase gear we use. We just don’t own or use a Taylor 🤷🏻♂️
7:20 what is Brad playing there?
Just whatever came to mind 🤷🏻♂️
That guy looks like Michael Bublé has been hitting the gym.
isaac garcia now that’s funny 😂😂😂
Hey Brian and Bradford! Have you guys heard of Orangewood guitars? A review or comments on what you guys think of their different models would be great! :D
Eddie Garcia heard of em, yes! But haven’t heard *from* them ;)
Bradford Mitchell, makes sense. Thank you!
It’s probably too much to ask but if you do hear from them before I do, some comments would be cool (:
Can y'all please play hell or high water by people and songs
Awesome!!
Bradford... I didn't know you could play an acoustic!.. ;)
Oh!! I'm from Port Elizabth South Africa. I'll pay the shipping cost :-)
Is there an option for these bad boys to have pickups installed?
They come with an LR Baggs Element, but McPherson will instal a different pickup for you if you’d like.
It’s all hidden in the sound hole. It’s there ;)
@@worshiptutorials talk about great customer service!
@@bmitchellmusic then this thing is DEFINITELY on my radar for my next big buy!
Why do they keep on puting weird looking holes in weird places? And how about a 85% size guitar?
The sound hole location along with the cantilevered neck allows the area under the strings to resonate for a bigger sound.
At $2799. MSRP, Naw man I'm good.
jwhitty14 quality costs money :)
That's true, no doubt. But that quality seems out of reach for the common man.
and if your going to spend that much go ahead and knock yourself out and get the sable.. why pay that much for a travel, unless your Bradford and can afford it... or buy a taylor or martin :-)
I’ve been looking at the Lava Me 2 guitar because of the cost.
found a touring model on reverb for 1600.00 in excellent condition.
How do I enter the giveaway?

Nice
even if it does sound great that price is out of mainstream market reach sadly...considering average salary some people need a bank loan.
You had me until Florida Georgia Line....

Guess I should have said most social media as UA-cam is technically social media.
I disagree I love my GS Mini, it sounds good :-) but Id also like to take this one for a test drive LOL

because of the price no it can never be a great travel guitar.

Now that ain’t true 😂
It sounds great...but its Waaaay too expensive for its purpose.
FIRSTTTTTTT
Nice uke 1:30
Yikes. So expensive
