Very nicely done - great instructions, great explanations. The instructions provided by RaceTech were confusing, but you cleared it right up and made it obvious how simple the process is. Thanks for doing an AWESOME job!

    Thanks! Race Techs instructions SUCK.
You walked me through exactly what I needed to know to install the racetech springs in my 2004 Goldwing 1800.
    Thanks again.

How do you tighten up the dampening bolt in the bottom of the fork leg ? Mine just spins the lower part of the rod assembly, and there seems no way to stop it rotating ?? Answers please, anyone.

I need help. I have an 07 yz250 2 stroke and I just got new springs and gold valves. And had them installed by a suspension guy. And I feel like I dont have that much preload. Is there a way to increase it or extend the forks?

At 9:10 What size cartridge holding tool is that? I don't see one listed for sale that fits the XR650L on your Website. What motorcycle do I use in the pull down menu?

Can you just add a spacer to the OEM setup to stiffen the fork?

You may be able to make something work but we have not seen or heard of anybody doing that so we would not recommend it.

*kostas restas* For you, i would recommend you go on Race Tech's website: www.racetech.com/VehicleSearch Here they can recommend what spring rate and oil weight for your riding style. Hope this helps.

Geez, all you need is an engineering degree and $300.00 worth of specialized tools to complete this project.....wow

Changing fork springs or even seals is definitely more involved than a lot of other maintenance jobs but really not too bad. Especially if you have a nice step by step video showing you everything you need to do as you're doing it. Thanks for watching!

@@dougiequick1 Im an engineer. Non-engineers have no clue what it takes to manufacture anything. End-user maintenance is not always a top priority. At the end of the day, its about engineering a product that WORKS, is able to be manufactured efficiently and cheap enough that the end customer doesnt whine and complain about costs. Yet, the end customer always finds something to whine about.
