i personally thought about waiting for the new hull to come out then put a 1503 or 1630 in it and making my own spark then realized how much of a pain it would be
it may be easier than we think, depending if the motor mounts are already in the correct place. the problem is what is the already made larger motor is put in a year later? would be a total waste
“You’re going to be forced to upgrade.” No you’re not. You don’t have to upgrade if you don’t want to. Also, a 1630 model will obviously be a more expensive version, while the 900 will carry on as the “base” model. I see nothing wrong with Sea-Doo’s approach here.
I would have offered the separate models at launch. I don't think the Trixx will get the 1503 or the 1630 but I think they're going to make a specific model for it. They're marketing this all wrong anyways.
Yeah, manufacturers across many industries do this all the time: hold back some big anticipated upgrades for future model years to keep the buying/upgrading cycle going. It is what it is.@@WeTryMotorsports
I can’t understand why Sea-Doo didn’t have any marketing media regarding the new Trixx capabilities right at launch. Show me what the new one can do that the old one can’t!
I made a similar comment on one of Sea-Doo's videos and they responded that they're "working on it." Seems the smarter idea would have been to have some videos ready and available for the launch event.@@WeTryMotorsports
@@WeTryMotorsports I see, I currently own a 22 Jet Blaster but have been thinking of trading it in for a 24 Spark Trixx. I’m not concerned with top speed but a different experience, would like to trade in the 22 before the trade in value drops even more.
@@adamsanchez1410 there's no difference between the skis at the moment other than easier access to motor and trim / pump but imo not worth updating until they come out with something else. Sparks really don't lose value otherwise
"Why not do it all at once" Because they don't have an infinite amount of resources to work on the Spark. They came out with the base Spark 2UP, Spark 3UP, Spark Trixx 1UP, and Spark Trixx 3UP in a single year. It's not easy to also add in different motor options. Before they only came out with the base spark, then a few years they came out with the Trixx. Let's just be happy that they came out with the base and Trixx at the same time this time. It's very easy to criticize designs. It's a whole different thing being a part of the actual design team working on the designs. You only notice the issues and things you don't like, and ignore all the good things that work so well you don't even notice them.
you missed the other point of the video; I'm not necessary bitter about what was launched, but HOW it was launched. let's be real here: the 1up was a seat change. the 3up already existed. they focused on the wrong things rather than tell enthusiasts about the changes they actually made. I'm not talking about boring technical information, I'm talking about VITAL information on launch. they didn't chat about engine access or even iBR capabilities in even ANY slight depth. from an enthusiast standpoint absolutely nothing changed... until we saw the release videos from dealers doing walk arounds. talk about lame. they SHOULD have released the larger / upgraded motor with this year though. the wet fart they let out during this launch was terrible
Honestly I think a lot of people are let down because UA-camrs hyped it up too much.
probably true, the marketing department could have done a much better job in my opinion
Yeah all we heard was spark x this and that.

So when do you think the larger motor will be available?
my best guess is 2026. the new top can fit one but I think they're going to slowroll it
@@WeTryMotorsports Why do you think that is?
@@adamsanchez1410 based on information from marketing crew at BRP, they want to milk the new model before they add more.

if i were to order a trixx today how long would it take to get to me?
depends which country you're in. assuming they were ordered today it would be there by next spring/summer
