    Maybe a hot take but I don’t consider the losses to Usyk were his lowest point, Usyk is a gold medalist and former undisputed Cw champ - and sure, he lost fair and square both times but he was competitive in both fights, those were not easy wins for Usyk at all. It's pretty much a certainty that he will get atleast one of the recognised belts again at some point. Some will get vacated soon after the undisputed, and I can see maybe one, or both of the undisputed fighters (Fury and Usyk) retiring after their 2 fights, especially the loser, and especially if the loser, loses both the first fight, and the rematch. He may not be the best technical coach, but his forte is his ability to help a fighter rebuild psychologically. If your head isn't right, nothing else matters. AJ had plenty of technical ability already. He needed someone who could help him get back to making the best use of it and Ben has done that.

      @gutz323 4 місяці тому +1

      I guess activity is a big part of Wilders down fall, but pretty much losing to Fury 3 times must have really messed with head, and knocked his confidence. He probably thought and felt invincible, especially with all the yes men around him, making a false pretence, telling him how great he is, and that "no one can take his power". He may have learnt to have become a far better (technical) boxer, if his power wasn't as hard, and it didn't win him so many fights with one punch knockouts. He pretty much relied on it, and thought it would never let him down. It must be disheartening for him to have now, not won 4 of his fights, after his main (and only) atribute was not good enough at the top level. It may have worked with lower ranked opponents and old men, but it is no garauntee when it come to younger, fitter fighters, nearer the top of the food chain. He may be suffering from imposter syndrome, and thinking, or realising, he doesn't deserve, or belong at the top.

    Fury's lack of training, and taking Ngannou too lightly, resulting in his shitty performance against him, has made AJ's win seem a lot more credible than it actually was.
    It was a decent win, and a good way to do it ie by stoppage, but lets see him do that to an actual top 7 heavyweight.

    Still kinda want that Wilder fight bro. It is good to see Joshua looking mean. Maybe it was just juxta, but I think this might be the best version of Joshua. The older mean Joshua was a bit more stiff, he got loose and mean in there. Comfortable as fuck. Looks pretty badass to me boys.

    Brilliant as always these videos. People in here saying AJ beating Francis means nothing are the same people that were saying Francis would beat AJ. Now AJ’s spanked him. It was rigged and that’s what he’s supposed to do. Yet Fury couldn’t do it. I do believe Fury after seeing this, will totally up his game against Uysk and beat him. So hopefully AJ Vs Fury is the closest it’s ever been. We need it.

    This past 11 months was exactly what he needed earlier on in his career. He went straight from Dillian Whyte to world title, you can't drop levels after that. He missed the building phase to world level. Glad he stayed active since last year and not 1-2 fights a year.

    Another prime example of the waffle Johnny Nelson talks. Just like when he was going around saying oh fury’s getting battered in sparring and then when on to say oh you shouldn’t tell tales of sparring for then it to come out it was complete the other way round. Sausage.

    I think Ben Davison is the perfect fit for AJ. He already has elite level skills, power and his fight plans are usually spot on as well. His problem is his mental fragility. The one thing Ben Davison has shown he is great at is getting fighters into the right mindset, improving their mental health and toughness and restoring confidence.

    I don't understand the hate for Joshua. Seems like a humble guy who is a talented fighter, but everyone keeps wishing on his downfall rather than cheering on the fact he can loose and keep getting in the ring. Many people in his position have given up in the past, kudos to him for keeping it up. It's not like he was a showboater like Prince Naseem who seemed to have lost his heart as soon as someone chin checked him for the 1st time. He stayed humble and took his losses gracefully. Not like he made excuses like Deontay Wilder would have. Why the hate?

    • @tonystevens4883

      He stayed humble and took his losses gracefully!!!?? Did you see the breakdown after the Usyk fight???😂😂 All his racist BS around the black lives matter nonsense also. Come on pal, he's given us plenty of reasons to think he's a tit. He's a good, hard hitting heavy weight, and I hope he's back to his fearless days before the Cartman loss. 💪
