You forgot to mention two very important positives - lack of noise and saving insects, which is the reason why I want to learn to use scythe. I live in a village in north east Germany and summer is very noisy here because most men ride big machines to cut their very small lawns. Maybe they will switch to scythe when they see me when I will learn how to do it. Will be following all your episodes.
With walking lawnmower it will stop physically moving when bumping into the high grass, and then it will stall if you force it into the grass, too much grass for it to have the power to cut. Scythe vs Lawnmower = The two are incomparable. And even if lawnmower worked, it would move slower than a person with scythe, and person with scythe does 3m wide cuts, lawnmower... 30cm? lol So, Scythe actually wins with so much it's literally stupid

Kombinationen att ha en äng som blommar vackert och producerar mycket insekter till fåglarna och en välklippt gräsmatta som fyller ens behov för just välklippt är alldeles utmärkt. Sen kan man ju utan vidare klippa kort med lien om man vill....

So much much slower or faster is a motorized walking lawnmower than a scythe?
