Government senseless movement restrictive order had finally lifted, everything is slowly back to normal, everyone earning, move freely and smiling.....family reunited after 2 years of separation despite only a causeway apart. JB is back to life again. 🤩🤩
Nice coverage CNA. A vlog kinda documentary. This is surreal. No one ever thought that it took 2 years of border closure. Thank you to the Singapore and Malaysian government for achieving this mutual agreement and ease the lives of everyone who longed to meet their family and friends. And just nice on time for us to meet our extended relatives in Malaysia during Ramadan and Raya period. Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much. Take care and stay safe everyone. Please stay vigilant and take good care of our own hygiene and health.
i also want to go but failed in submissions cos 1) app say my vacc cert cannot be verified properly altho i scan the notarised copy from govt 2) they ask for ins info. Haiz, can someone give me some guidance ? thx
*Highly recommended to build a shelter for that pedestrian passage way beside the road due to rain and hot weather and the cost should be split between Sg and My budget*
Singapore welcomed Malaysia’s plans to build sheltered walkways across the Causeway, although it has yet to receive any official proposal or communication on the plans. there is already a pedestrian walkway on Singapore’s half of the Causeway . It seems Malaysia only TALK no ACTION. Dated 19 june 2019.
@@puppetjim Dont give lame excuses and relive an old tale and pushing blame on others if you failed to get it done since 2019 and now its already 2022 and Sg still cannot put any extra effort to erect that shelter so stop shifting blame and just get it done cos its sad seeing people walk across without shelter its cruel and so primitive.

Only if they reduce prices. And with many being jobless, not sure it's safe to go now. And the way they gate crash the check point, probably we will go back to restriction again. 🤔
Singapore or Malaysia may be the first country in Asia to remove all Covid restrictions for tourists. No Vaccine Passport No Covid Tests No Contact Tracing This follow European Countries which remove restrictions last month March 2022.
JB says Sgpreans cause prices and cost of living to increase. Also jamming roads and being nuisance in general. We should be more considerate and stop going to JB.
It seems the opening of the causeway border only benefits the rich who can afford to own vehicles or fly by air. How about the not-so- rich, who can't afford either, they have to walk for about a quarter mile, if they are capable of walking, to cross the courseway. How about the old uncles and aunties, who are week and feeble, who wish to reunite with their families. But they are not able to walk that far. So may I urge the authorities to immediately reinstall SBS 170 and 170X. Please have a kind heart and think of the not so rich and the poor. Thank you. Sir/Madam.
MY people in Singapore drive like there's no tomorrow. Swerve in and out without signal and ignore red light junction. So conclusion in all countries have misbehave people.
Thousands of people from Malaysia entering Singapore coz of work and education during working days so cannot expect the checkpoint to be cleared in a second.
You will know whether you are a real Singaporean or not in your heart when you either feel this news is of importance to you or not. A real Singaporean will not feel this is of relevance to them and neither will a Singaporean have time to think of going to johore bahru all day long just to save up on a few dollars. When got time and money a fully naturalised and assimilated Singaporean will rather clear leave and focus on the changi airport and elsewhere instead. Those who are from Malaysia and went to Singapore to earn money will not be affected in any way while those who are newcitizens and are still trying to figure out their identity in life will still have a bit of homework to do in order to fully transform themselves into a real Singaporean.
